Traveling for the first time with our two little babies, our expectations were very low, but this place transformed our experience into a wonderful vacation. The management's pictures on Booking and TripAdvisor are totally accurate, and you will receive your room exactly like that 🤩 The excellent location means you are close to everything you need: attractions, good restaurants, stores, and supermarkets to buy supplies. **Pros:** - Very clean, comfortable, and well-kept spacious rooms. - Plenty of space and a lot of comfort, perfect for families: two spaces, a nice sofa bed, TVs, a washing machine, dryer, oven… You won’t miss any home comforts. - Small balcony with a beautiful view of Gran Vía, a nice extra. - La 14 bar/cafeteria is very convenient, and the food is delicious. - The rooftop bar with live music in the evening on weekends is superb and made our stay stunning. - Cabinets to organize all your belongings.

**Cons:** - Not a big deal, but you pay the price of being on Gran Vía with the noise of the main street. Ambulances and sirens can be heard each night. - I missed a pair of extra pillows.

Initially we stayed at Gran Via Capital for 5 nights when we first arrived in Madrid and returned for an additional 3 nights before returning home. We loved the location and amenities of our 1-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor and asked to be placed in the same room on our 3 night return. Unfortunately, the room was not available but they were able to accommodate us on the same floor. Love the design of the room and furnishings. Having a kitchen with a good sized refrigerator was wonderful as we could buy drinks and fruits. Also loved the washing machine that was very convenient. Overall, staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast offerings were good although available complimentary hot items were limited to a spanish omelette, avocado toast or a crepe(?). More importantly, we thought the location here was excellent - not only for the convenience but the fact that it was located closer to the beginning of Gran Via instead of the middle / end which was much more congested, noisy, etc. There was a small grocery store conveniently located around the corner and the bus stop for the free bus was right outside the front door. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever to return to Madrid.

Watching TV there was a little challenging. While the TVs in both apartments were the same, the manner by which one would log in to stream from your app or from your phone was different and quirky. Had a much more difficult time trying to stream or cast from the 2nd apartment vs. the first. Also, in the second apartment, we heard the people upstairs whenever they were using the table and chairs because scooting the chairs made a lot of noise. We understood this first hand as the chairs in our apartment were heavy and thus would not slide easily without making a loud scraping noise on the floor. For us, we would lift the heavy chairs whenever we could instead of scooting them on the floor.

Superb hotel! Great price for value. The location was just perfect!! Super markets, restaurants, cafes, everything was within walking distance

Just a minor thing but not really something we disliked about the property: we had a phone in the room but it never worked. We reported it but the technician never went to fix it, but again, thankfully we didn’t need to use it

We had a truly wonderful stay, and we cannot thank the staff enough for making our visit so special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. Every team member we encountered went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, cared for, and had everything we needed. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference and created a memorable experience for us. Wow! What an experience we had when we stayed here! From the moment we checked in.. to our “good bye”, everyone here made sure we had an above and beyond experience. -Apartments are super clean. -Pool area is well-maintained and had enough seating for everyone to relax there. Rooftop toilets are spotless. -Lobby is cozy and felt like home “packed with refreshing welcome drinks, fruits and lollies”. -Sofa turns into bed (that’s already made) -Additional fresh blankets and pillows stored neatly in room wardrobe -AC was amazingly effective in the hot summer days - Kitchenette was equipped with all necessities (including a cute little dishwasher), washing machine and cleaning supplies We really enjoyed our stay in which the staff were the highlight of the experience (what an elegant finale for a lovely Spain trip).. I would like to send special thanks to: Barbara and Andrea at the reception for their professional and swift service.. Yassin was such a gentleman, welcoming everyone with a wide smile and making sure everyone is comfortable and happy. Thank you Ismael from Andalusia, you made our food-hunting night much easier! Breakfast was very good. A bit different from continental breakfast I'm used to back home in Jersey where there's a larger spread. Was nice to have the restaurant right downstairs open after breakfast.

We weren't aware that only one main item was included with breakfast (I ordered scrambled eggs and avocado toast), and anything additional was charged to the room. The extra price was reasonable, though I anticipated with the purchase of breakfast included in the room cost that we'd be able to enjoy our selection of the menu. Also there was a problem with the heat at first, but maintenance took care of it right away!

There was a great range at breakfast and the apartment was clean and very nice. The pool was also a great addition to our stay. Our apartment was cleaned every day with new towels also brought. The staff were all really helpful and very welcoming. The location of the apartment was absolutely amazing. As a city, it is relatively compact and the apartment was in the center of absolutely everything.

The apartment was quite small for 6 people. The photos were not reflective of the size of the apartment, and it was a little bit claustrophobic in the kitchen area. It is absolutely fine, however for 6 people, it was quite cramped.

Great Staff - really nice ans helpful, and that is not a compliment I give easily. Always helped with our luggage, asked daily if the kids are alright, really good team.

Our first room was reall dark and not spacious at all, although we were traveling with 2 small kids. That was unfornutate and not well handed. We get another room but had to pay extra. The second room was really nice though. Beds are really bad. Too soft and move refuralry as they on wheels.

The room was spacious and fully furnished. The place was well designed and well fought out for the most part. Service at the reception desk was excellent.

The bathroom did not have enough space to put down one’s toilet articles. This is a common mistake in hotel bathrooms everywhere in the world, and you would think that architects would figure this out, but they don’t. When one uses a hotel bathroom one has a Bag of toilet articles. These include toothbrushes, creams and lotions, deodorant, razors, aftershave, and the like. We need space to put this stuff down. But the bathroom does not have any space to put this stuff down. So we end up moving furniture into the bathroom to give us space to put down our toilet articles. In addition, the sink splashes water everywhere. Something to think about if you redo the places or make new rooms. Make enough space for people to bring in their toilet articles thank you.

The breakfast was good. The location is perfect. People were very friendly and nice. They even brought us a bottle of cava and a cheese plate when we arrived.

We traveled with son 10 yrs old and he slept on the fold-out sofa in the living room. So when its opened and a person sleeps on it, you can't get from the bedroom to the bathroom at all. This is absolutely uncomfortable. You need to wake up a person and to fold a sofa bed in order to go to the shower or to the toilet in the middle of the night! Nobody warned us about it. So in fact these apartments are NOT suitable for three or four people, as they write on the website.
