This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share how much I LOVED my stay at THB Royal in Lanzarote. The location is Perfect—just a short walk to the main beach and situated on a quiet avenue, with easy access to everything. The hotel and its facilities are Excellent, with a beautiful, calm outdoor area full of greenery, that makes you feel like you´re in an Oasis amidst the heat. The rooms are very spacious, airy and with great balconies and very comfortable beds and always clean. The pools are fantastic, one offering a quieter atmosphere and the other usually had activities during the day. The hotel food - buffet international meals - were always very good and offered a wide variety in each meal and in the daily selection. Among all these great marks, what stood out the most was the Exceptional service from the hotel staff. They are all Extremely Professional and at the same time exceptionally warm and friendly, creating a very good environment. I will never forget how much the hotel team helped me during my recovery from a burnout. These holidays were a mix of healing and a test to my nervous system and my ability to regain autonomy, and at times, I struggled. But the staff provided INVALUABLE support, offering me extra guidance on places to visit and helping me feel at ease. I want to express my Gratitude to the KIND Anabella and the AMAZING Marta from the reception (You were my Angel!). Also, a thank you to the friendly "breakfast girls" for always being so helpful and patient with me and the rest of the staff. I’m truly grateful and HIGHLY recommend this hotel in Lanzarote. I hope to return soon!

Having to leave.

I loved the junior suite I was in. Spacious with a fridge and kettle, cups etc and a wonderful mattress that felt like sleeping on air. Great bathroom too with shower gel and shampoo. I was right next to the zen pool which is the quite area and it was exactly that... Peaceful and relaxing. I did not try the food as I was self catering but the supermarket onsite was handy and not overpriced. About a 15 min walk to the beach and 10 mins to the hiperdino, which is a larger supermarket for all your needs. Would definitely stay again.

It could get a bit noisy around the first pool nearest reception, with entertainment which was all in French as this is prominently the customer base. However, you can brush up on your French or the reception staff are always there to help. Asked to extend my room from 12pm till 4pm and they wanted €30, so just stayed at the pool and used the hospitality showers and toilets, which were clean and tidy.But remember to keep a towel to use as there are none in these showers.

The rooms are set in a lovely setting. On arrival I was a bit worried as reception is dated but the buildings are very pretty and rooms are huge.

Food is ok, not the best or worst but ok for a couple of days. The entertainment and staff spoke in French primarily for some reason. Having to pay €10 euros deposit for the towel is fine but you should be able to pay by card. I had to get money out of the atm that charged me €5 and then I’ve now got a €10 euros note that I can’t use up

The reception staff were very helpful and understanding. The grounds staff were polite and happy. A nice environment. The pool was heated and there seemed to be a good vibe in the evening with plenty going on. The rooms on first impression seemed spas but had everything you need, tea/ coffee facilities, fridge, nice size wardrobe and a lovely large bathroom. Overall a very nice hotel.

I can't say there was nothing I did not like. I cannot comment on the food as I don't eat there but the restaurant was always busy.Probally the most important question? Would I stay there again. Yes would be the answer.

It’s hard to say if it was only because of the Christmas season, but the hotel animations in the evening were too much, too intense, and too LOUD. For someone who comes in to have some rest for holiday, it was a pain. Also, they were only in French.

Hotel is really nice, staff was very kind, rooms are wide. Everything is perfectly clean. Our kids were thrilled with our terrace near the pool, the palms and the pancakes :-) And it is just a few minutes walk from playa Dorada, which our kids loved very much. Kids (4 and 8) felt really careless and safe in THB Royal complex - it has very dinamic ground plan, perfect for their vision of fun!

Restaurant - we've had all inclusive package, but the meals in restaurant were not made tastefully. There was visible lack of cleaning staff in the resaturant, and one more unusual thing - waiting outside in the line for the dinner, because the staff can't clean the tables so quickly.

Nice and clean 10 min walk.to beach and restaurants. Son liked the football courts.

Pillows , pool was cold Would be better if apartment had a stove to cook. All entertainment in french

Good was great - lots of variety. Rooms were clean. Bathroom is modern.

The hotel entertainment is 100% French. Not one word of English. This should be mentioned in the booking.com hotel description as it’s important. 99% of guests are french so very difficult for kids to make friends. They weren’t allowed to join mini club unless they could speak french

Breakfast was varied with lots of fruit as well as cooked breakfasts.

Dinner was disappointing and although there was a wide range of food it was more like a canteen than a restaurant.

I had a lovely pool view from both my balcony’s. Shops on site which I found very convenient! Loads of social activities going on also. The staff were brilliant very helpful and polite. The walk to the town doesn’t take long and I enjoyed it very much. Over all I had a brilliant stay and would come back
