Nice location right next to the marina which had a number of very good restaurants. Very pleased with the size and position of the room. Breakfast busy busy busy, but large selection of things to eat!!!

The bed was much to hard for my wife and I, When the hotel start to upgrade the rooms can I suggest that the bath/showers are replaced with walk in showers as most of the guests were over 60, hard as you get older getting in and out of a bath to take a shower. Everything else was very good !!!!!

I had a very nice stay at the hotel. Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast selection and ample free parking space in garage and street. Short walk to Shopping Centre and Marina Restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Entire resort is very clean, including room.

I stayed in a room with extension door into adjacent room, this door was not fully soundproofed and I was conscious about not making excess noise. The circulation fan on bedroom ceiling needs some oil. Glass shutter over the bath was not sealed properly, so I had to mop up a lot of water from bathroom and corridor floors after each shower. Double bed was in fact two singles pushed together, both fitted with single size bedlinen, which i felt didn’t do justice to the good quality and huge size of the room.

Hotel staff were so friendly and obliging. The hotel has a lovely ambience and vibe. Room was fabulous and comfortable. (Love that they have mugs instead of small cups if you wanted a cup of tea yourself in the room). Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. The main pool was undergoing construction so this was not open. Fortunately we were upgraded to Club Volcan which was a lovely treat. Hotel was spotless - Breakfast had a good choice so something for everyone.The hotel is on the marina which is fabulous and has many lovely restaurants. There is a lovely promenade from the hotel to the rest of Playa Blanca . The nearest beach is 10-15 min walk which is a bit of a bummer if you like the beach.

We probably didn't visit the the height of the season but we didn't see a snack bar, if you wanted something small during the day. We did go to the poolside restaurant which was great but more a formal lunch I felt.

Absolutely everything was outstanding and beyond my expectations. Beautiful room, it was huge - as big as an apartment, the balcony had stunning pool view and marina view. It’s a spectacular place. Entrance is based on a volcano with cathedral in entrance and beautiful rainforest. There are many pools, a spa and wellness centre. Breakfasts were amazing, staff wonderful. Highly recommended. The hotel offers free courses Pilates, yoga and we did a jewellery making class (you can keep the necklace) and an art and wine course, painted a beautiful lanzarote sunset. We will definitely return.

Nothing, everything was fabulous

Unforgetable place, the main hall is magical and every party of this hotel feels like a modern museum, visualy 10/10. We had breakfast included with probably the biggest selection of possibilities to eat I ever saw so those are 10/10 as well. We had also a stunning view from our room, personal was helpful and daily program of activities was amazing as well.

Just in time of our days spended here their biggest pool (yes the main cool one) was not working, they were making some technical changes unfortunatelly, I was so sad cause I was looking forward to this the most. Besides that everything was perfect but still what a bad luck for us... (You can actually see it in my added photo)

As usual all the staff welcoming and friendly. Actual room was good with welcoming gifts and note. The location of it not good. Room 586 on the outskirts of hotel. No sun on terrace all day. Poor views of some bushes directly outside. Public walking past on coastal path 30 yards away with 2 small barriers between path and my room . Potential security issue? I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Volcan as I have done in the past. This just turned a 100% rating into an 80% one. Will obviously be booking again in the future

We have stayed at this hotel about 5 times now, so we obviously like it! It has a very relaxed vibe. While families stay here, I think the overall atmosphere is more appealing to adults or families with older children. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast area is very well organised and serviced. The reception staff are very helpful, the waiting staff at the breakfast area are great and the house keeping staff are really good and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the casino night. The location is lovely for Playa Blanca and perfect for a morning walk.

For a 5 star hotel, you would expect a welcome drink after travelling from the airport, kids are thirsty and who doesn't feel like they're on holiday with a welcome drink in their hand. It's the holiday feeling and I have never stayed in any other 5 star hotel where this isn't provided. I feel this lets the hotel down at the important check in impression.

Very clean Beautiful rooms. Ours was a mini suite with cave-like terrace, which we loved. Activities every day including jewellery making, which was excellent. Lots of very good entertainment including a concert by candlelight in the hotel’s beautiful church area. The breakfast was good and meals in the Yaiza restaurant were excellent.

We had a shower over the bath, which isn’t our preference. We prefer a walk in shower but I suppose other guests may like a bath.

We love this hotel and it was our second visit within 6 months. We love the location and the ambiance, from the entrance via the church to the lovely pools and restaurant.

We were very disappointed with booking.com as we booked a junior suite which showed pictures of a lovely sea view, balcony, loungers and an outside eating area, none of which was available In room 454. It was a cold room with no outside seating and a just a pool view. I would not use booking.com to book this hotel if you want a good room.

The hotel is in a great location with only a short stroll to Marina Rubicón. The rooms are lovely with a separate sitting area and all the amenities you could need. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel, which when busy still has some private spaces so it can feel quite intimate.

Like other people have commented, internet access is limited, but you are on holiday so make the most of it. The evening meals are nice but no real options for a vegetarian, just the veg that goes with the fish or meat options. One night my meal was cheese and veg no starter apart from a plain salad which for me was a shame.
