When we arrived at the hotel, a concierge parked our car for us, which was a nice touch; this is what one expects in a hotel with such a star rating. The staff were mostly lovely (the bar staff could be grumpy at times, maybe due to the amount of people they had to serve) and the entertainment team were great with children and so friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices, ranging from continental to 'full English'. We only had lunch once in the buffet restaurant, as the bar by the pool was easier to eat for lunch, and the food was good lunch food from there, and there are eating places within driving distance. The evening buffet was limited and 'samey' - I ate the same meal most evenings. The location is really good - right on the beach (you can get out to the beach from the hotel), and only a short drive from other good places to visit (and drivable to the volcano) - we had a car, but some friends that we met there, completely by chance, would get a taxi to nearby places they wanted to visit, which the hotel staff were more than happy to assist with. We did not visit the Italian restaurant on site - we were just never organised enough to get it booked as you have to book days in advance - but our friends did visit the restaurant and said it was lovely food. The hotel is also right next door to a small shopping arena (not really noticeable from the hotel) with a little supermarket, which was within one minute walking distance and super handy. Overall, it was a positive experience - the only downside were the blaring music late at night and the lack of reasonable variety and quality of food in the evening buffet.

The main gripe we had is that on our second evening the hotel started hosting live music events outside in the grounds of the hotel, which we could see from our room balcony, which was SO loud inside our room that we could not sleep. We had travelled with a six year old child, and we had to wait until the music stopped at midnight to be able to go to bed, which them impacted upon our days as we were all up late, had to rush for breakfast, and were tired during the day - we really didn't understand whey a family hotel would do this. I commented upon this to the hotel, so hopefully they will change this in the future.

Lot of pools designed for kids and it was a lot of families with kids. One pool was for adults only and it was a perfect place to rest with drinks from the bar at the pool. Indoor pool was not part for all-inclusive, you have to pay 20Eur and make a reservation, but you don`t need to go there. Ocean beach in front of the hotel was rocky, but 15 minutes walk and you are at big sand beach Playa Mujeres. We rent a car and we travelled across the island and we enjoyed some hikes and empty beaches along the island. We stayed here in January right after New Year and it was hot during lunch and evenings were around 17celsius. Ocean was fresh but we swam there and then we dried up at the beach. Was a bit windy but it is everywhere on island.

Everything was great and it's a perfect set-up for a family of young kids. There's not too much nearby so the area is kind of quiet (which we didn't mind) but on site, they had everything you need. The pools, entertainment, facilities and food were all great. Despite meal times being busy, the staff were brilliant and keeping everything running smoothly and the food was very nice for 'buffet style' !

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with the kids club on the second day which meant the kids didn't want to go back for the duration of our stay. Our youngest didn't enjoy it at all (which we didn't realise) and although I signed up online with my personal details, including my phone number, we didn't receive a call to let us know that he wasn't settling so he spent the nearly two hours in there upset. Naturally, we were pretty annoyed but we spoke to the team and the reception about the situation and they were very apologetic about the mix up and sent an apology note and cava/chocolates to our room, which we very much appreciated and showed us that they understood and were apologetic about the situation.

The location was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Family room was exceptional with large space, cot, quiet and relax.

No much vegetables /fruits offered. No lift to get to the parking. .

The location was perfect, outstanding sea views and direct access to the beachfront, located in a quiet and well kept area, within about 15 minutes walk to the Rubicon marina in Playa Blanca, along a beautiful wide walkway with fabulous views across to Fuertaventura. The food choices each night were faultless and the quality of food was outstanding. The staff were so helpful and made everything so easy, nothing was too much trouble. The main pools were lovely and well kept and perfect for young children. Lots of nationalities use this hotel which gives a great mix of people and also shows how positive it is viewed. The superior rooms are very large and immaculately clean with a dressing room and large bathroom with bath and separate shower and toilet/bidet separated off. The only slight negative is the decor is a bit dated, although it is not worn or tired, just not of the more contemporary theme. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for families and will definitely return.

Soft furnishings in hotel rooms need a bit of updating.

Amazing room, actually one of the best I’ve ever stayed in so much space and the bathroom had a bath and shower separate which I liked. Pool was lovely, staff were very nice, attentive and professional. Entertainment was great, food was good and table service excellent. Free parking and a room to shower in before we left for the airport at 5pm as we needed to check out at 10/11am so this was a nice touch to use facilities still. Would definitely recommend and would look to stay here again in future.

Breakfast was not great, cereal options were not good and very bland, and just didn’t enjoy the food during that meal. Rest of the food was great at lunch and dinner however!! Floors in the room was a little dirty - only noticed once getting out the shower and my feet being dirty within 5 minutes of not going outside! Not a deal breaker however everything else was immaculate, just something note.

We had a really lovely holiday , the place was so clean and fresh .Nice to have our bags delivered to our room.Gorgeous big room. Its perfect , as a couple in our 40's we enjoyeded the adult terrace and pool area , the jacuzzi section heated was wonderful. Well done !

Super friendly and pretty staff. Really great with and for kids. We stayed in the Merlin rooms and we were pleasantly surprised by them. Animation team really seems to love their job, interacting with kids. And the staff seems to have fun together on the job. Stunning views from the main pool (Fuerteventura on the other end of the sea) and central location in lively Playa Blanca. Garden(s) well maintained. We stayed mid February and felt really lucky with the weather. Some pools were heated (main- and kids pool), preferably even a bit warmer to my liking. Lots of choice with food options. Some are a bit plain, but easy to adjust to your personal likings with all kinds of additional items (like oils, oats, fruits, salsa's). Would stay there again. Traveling with kids, it's a definite recommendation

There is room for improvement with the style of the hotel. The room seemed outdated. Super clean though
