From the moment we arrived on Dec 20 staff greeted us with warm friendly welcome # welcome drink they couldn't do enough for us nothing was never a issue beautiful hotel, Amazing views great food choices our room 569 was fabulous balcony with two sun loungers,two chairs table we got the sun all day so often sunbath on it😎👍🏼spa definitely worth a visit also we had great couples massage on Xmas eve🥰🥂 the walk to the marina is about 10 mins also a fab market there # sat and weds get some bargains also beautiful restaurants,playa balnca is another 15 mins walk on down with lots shops bars , restaurants, supermarket Christmas day gala was fab so.much effort from all the staff very chilled place just to switch off and relax not a place if you want to party

This is not what I didn't like it's just a few points,gym to.open earlier also have more selection of non- alcoholic drinks the jet seat area in the pool wasn't working

We have been to Playa Blanca several times over the last few years and have stayed in different types of accommodation but always self-catering .This time we decided to stay in a hotel. We knew we're the Mirador was located and liked the location as we enjoy the walk into the marina and then into town. We had a sea view room over looking the pool and then sea it was a perfect view .The room was plenty big and very light and clean. Having a small fridge was handy for drinks We were on a half board basis. Which was fine .I had read a lot of the comments about the food, so was a little concerned.We were presently surprised. We enjoyed the breakfasts plenty of choice hot or cold. Dinner we always found something that we liked .Lots of healthy choices. The staff worked very had to keep food topped up and tables cleared. We managed to sit out side for most of the week .We found it nice and relaxed and it was worth waiting a little for a table. We didn't go to the evening entertainment only because we either went for a stroll or were very happy to sit and have a drink on the terrace over looking the pool and sea. All the staff were polite and helpful, the chambermaid did a wonderful job each day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quite location and a chilled out holiday. Would definitely go back next time we make it to Playa Blanca.

Everything! The rooms were airy and clean. The staff were always so friendly and helpful, even after they were finished a shift. The food had a lot of variety and was very tasty. I really appreciate how the restaurant worked efficiently to provide for so many guests! Finally, the pool side was relaxed and the staff kept up a fun yet serene atmosphere. 5 stars. Would definitely come again!

The bath tubs in the bathroom. It feels quite dated having them instead of a walk in shower.

It offered everything we needed. Two good pools neither ever busy. Lots of sunbeds. We stayed in the family area so there were children playing in the pool in the pm but the balcony got nice evening sun. Staff were so helpful. It was a lovely walk down the paved coast path to the marina which has great shops and restaurants and is very attractive. It’s out of the hussle of the centre but easy to walk there. The walk to papagayo beaches was stunning but not for the unfit. Fabulous restaurant on cliff tops. Hired a car, lots of parking. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was actually a suite w small kitchen. Plenty of food choices, not haute cuisine but adequate. Its very resonanly priced to include breakfast and dinner.

The dining room is completely souless. If you can get a table outside its not so institutional. It has no view and is depressing.

Sea View Room was glorius. What a view ! Well worth the small extra. Breakfast buffet was quite good with most tastes accomodated for.

Dinner buffet was very much canteen like food so, while edible, don't expect restaurant quality food. Cocktails and drinks were clearly watered down so looks like the all inclusive option is not to be recommended. I would have preferred the option to book breakfast only rather than the half board option I had to book.

charging for water with dinner. I spoke to the manager and explained that most good restaurants give complimentary water. we were half board. he very kindly waived any charge for the rest of our stay.

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff, the quality of service at the bars, dining room and kitchen staff. The selection of food and the facilities were virtually faultless and anyone who wants a relaxing time away with everything to hand, even to the point of signing receipts off and paying at check out rather than carrying cash around was brilliant.

Now we found the Hotel and staff virtually faultless but sadly it would have been nice to have some of the facilities of the Rubicon nearer the Papagoyo area rather than a 25 minute walk to them. Maybe nearer the peak season there may be more free shuttle bussed rather than the 3 each way we had last week.

Overall environment attractive and relaxing. Very good range of resources, gym, spa sports etc, everything well organised and pristine. Food generally excellent, with Spanish emphasis, huge range of cold platters, but see below.

Overcooked vegetables. Shower area in bath needs an additional handhold.

The only slight disappointment about the hotel was the food. The dinner buffet was not always that delicious… (meat and fish often salty and dry in camparison to our taste). Luckily the breakfast buffet was good! The dinner/breakfast room was also very noisy (accoustics not so good), so we were very happy when we could sit outsid. Unfortunately not that many seatings available outside.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Had half board and both breakfast and dinner were great with lots of choice. Nice swimming pools. Amazing spa. Great location. Had a rental car and always found a space.

Had a very bad smell in the bathroom during the night and stay during the morning.
