The hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff couldn’t do enough, the food was outstanding with so much to choose from. The entertainment for both kids and adults were excellent. The water park for the kids was out of this world and the kids will foreve cherish these memories. Thank you so much for a great holiday. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

Nothing about the property.

Newly renovated hotel with beautiful rooms and pools mainly for families with children. Food selection is very good and if someone writes otherwise the problem is with him/her not with the hotel :) Staff is nice and trying to do their best. I would like to thank “food truck staff” Esteban and Ana for entertaining us by the pool during the whole stay. They are supernice people who make people smile all day. We definitely come back if we will return to Lanzarote!

They are still learning to make all guests satisfied but the small mistakes we noticed were definitely forgivable.

The location was excellent and we felt very safe, which was really important with kids. It’s a smaller resort, so the children were able to move around independently. We went all-inclusive and there was a great variety of food for breakfast and lunch, and plenty of snacks available throughout the day. The drinks package was also great, with beer, wine, and cocktails included. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and well looked after with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The pools were not heated and were very cold, even in April. Our kids were in and out quickly and needed hot showers throughout the day to warm up. We saw younger kids wearing short wetsuits, which was a good idea we hadn’t thought of. It was also too cold for adults to enjoy swimming properly. Another small issue was that the kids’ entertainment was a bit hard to follow because of the strong accents of some of the hosts, especially during the bingo and kids’ club activities.

The all inclusive package was amazing especially with three teenagers in tow who enjoyed it immensely. The pools even though cool and waterslides were great. The hotel was very relaxed and the management were very relaxed. The bed was lovely and big - you could fit four but a little hard. the location is brilliant as everything is close by. We had a wonderful stay. The kids club team were brilliant. They ensured everyone all ages were well looked after. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The location makes it an easy holiday as even I had one person sick - it was very easy to access doctors and pharmacy. Really enjoyed!

The lovely ladies on reception are under too much pressure but they are wonderful at their job. There should be at least 2-3 on the reception at all times to save all the delays checking in and organising details but the staff are amazing.

Perfect location, great amenities for kids, food was delicious with so many options, clean...

I wish the pool were open for longer. They close it at 6 pm when it's still very nice outside, but we would stay sometimes until 6.30-7 anyway, and nobody ever told us to leave. Also, maybe it's a cultural difference but it would be nice if the staff at the snack and drinks bar was a bit faster. If the line has 8-10 people waiting I'd expect for them to speed up their pace or have several staff members assisting guests. same with snack bar. But overall still great experience.

Pool was too cold Couldn't pay cash/card at van by pool for drinks shower kept overflowing, even after we had someone to look at it.

It was very well laid out and plenty of areas for sunbeds. The reception staff in particular Teddy and Mariana were exceptional, kind to guests and always helpful. We left a personal item in our room and did not miss it until we returned home to Ireland. I messaged the hotel via booking.com and Teddy and Mariana located it and mailed it back to us here in Ireland. They kept in touch with me to reassure me that I will receive it by mail. Mariana went to the post office on her day off to mail it, this was very kind and thoughtful and much appreciated by me.

Poolside choice of menu was limited

When we arrived the entrance looked a bit grim. However inside it opened up and went way back quarter of a mile/half a kilometre. Lots of pools and water shoots for the kids as in the photos. Food was great . Most people here were French from FRAM Airlines and a few Northern Irish with Ryan Air. Also the odd Dutch and Belgium tourist. Staff mostly all spoke English and were always on the go. Room was large and bed comfy - fridge and air-conditioning actually worked. Superdino supermarket, chemist and vets just across the road and 2 laundrettes either side of the Hotel.

Entertainment every night was dire but it was OK. It is only a little negative. I had my wife with me with a broken ankle. She also had a broken tooth and hearing aid. The lack of hearing was the worst of the 3.

Staff were very friendly & helpful....special mention must go to Mariana at reception. We had to rebook accommodation after 1 day stay at our original location due to various reasons & the Bakour was pretty much the only property with a vacancy for our party (me, Wife & 18 year old Daughter). Price paid was expensive for what we booked through Booking.com due to time of year....but after explaining our situation, Mariana organised for some welcome additions. She didn't have to, nor did the Hotel either but it does mean we will definitely be looking to return to the Bakour next time we visit Lanzarote....the Hotel is clean, the facilities are great & it is located near enough to both the old & new town areas of Puerto del Carmen - 10 min walk to old town, 20 mins to the start of the "strip" in the new town (4/5 mins & €5.00 in a taxi, which Hotel Reception will book for you, at whatever time you ask & a taxi will be there exactly on the dot).

Vey good selection of drinks and food on all inclusive. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pool bar very good service. Great entertainment for kids throughout the day. The mini water park was amazing. Extremely comfortable 1 bed apartment, kept very clean. Pools were cleaned every morning. Very good location, lidl just next door, huge shopping centre few minutes walk, and only 12 min walk to the beach. Overall, our stay was great

There are few observations that the hotel needs to address: a significant amount of broken sun loungers, parasols, and white plastic tables that need immediate replacing as they are hazard. The back pool area near the biggest water slides was not cleaned properly. Arriving every morning and there was still rubbish from the previous day flying around, and tiled floors were sticky from spilt drinks. I thought for a 4-star hotel that was rather poor behaviour.
