The location

A large lump of concrete fell from the roof of our balcony it woke us up at six morning and frightened the life out of us and when I told the man at the desk he just said he new about it no apology I am booked to stay there for 10 days in march and I’m thinking of cancelling.

Cleanliness, the garden and pools. Everything really- have been coming for 20 years!

One small thing - safe too high up, could not figure how to use it. Also, could not reach the microwave as am not tall enough!

The Eldorado is so central to the beach shopping and restaurant s .A great location. We had an amazing lady Tena who came most days to clean our apartment always with a smile and she remembered us from last year , such a lovely lady ….Our apartment was great .The complex is very clean super safe and really lovely friendly staff especially Chris at reception who always has a warm welcome when we return every year .Looking forward to returning next year 😊

Could have more sunloungers around the pool

Good size apartment with a great view of the Sea

Location was excellent. Rooms spotless. very efficient caretaker, who fixed the lock on our broken door immediately. Well kept grounds.

Never got a sunbed at pool as towels were placed there every night and many sunbeds were vacant for majority of the day. Signs everywhere saying you couldn't reserve beds but not enforced. Our Premier room overlooked a skip for the week.

We arrived on Tuesday and late in the evening.The room that we booked (Superior apartment) was not available so we were allocated an alternative room which was not to the standard that we booked. The lady on reception said there was nothing she could do for the night but would mention it to the manager the next morning.The following morning we spoke to Chris on reception who was very helpful as he transferred us to a Superior apartment with pool view, which we thoroughly enjoyed.So a big thanks to Chris.

Previous occupants obviously smoked & apartment reeked of cigarettes. Large family/friend groups who were located all over the place and pretty much took over! Very rude to the lovely lifeguard and shouting & running riot all over the complex. Shouting from balconies and across pools and no consideration for other people at all. Unfortunate & not ElDorados fault but it really spoils a holiday for others.

Great location, maybe a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, bus 161, bus stop is about 200 metres from the entrance, €1.50 each. On return ordered a taxi for 8am, on time €18+ tip, we were through security by 8:20! Very friendly staff, the grounds are very well kept. We had a second floor apartment overlooking the main pool, it was ideal. The room is basic but well equipped, probably could do with a lick of paint. Good size bathroom with a good shower, towels provided, kitchenette with a large fridge freezer, induction hob with plates, cutlery and some pots provided, nice sofa and large flat screen tv, balcony furniture. There is a nice spacious balcony, ideal for sitting out in the morning for breakfast. Great location, close to the strip and the old town area, we walked to Calero. We walk a lot so distance and hills were not an issue for us. Really nice pool area with a snack bar for snacks and drinks. There are a few supermarkets close by if you need and groceries etc. There is a safe in the room and you need a code to open the gate at the back of the property. Overall we felt safe and secure in the property / area. We would definitely stay again.

Two single beds pushed together, not ideal for a couple, beds were a bit hard. The sofa bed in the living room was more comfortable for an afternoon nap.

2 bed apartment was awesome, very very roomy. Great location, sizeable tv and comfy couch with cushions. Two very nice bathrooms. Apartment blocks had two pools, a quiet one and a busy one, figured the reason one was quiet as the pool was a cold pool. Quite cold. Area is at the end of the strip, old town/shopping centre and beaches all within 5 minutes walk,

Apartment was spotless when we arrived but cleaning service throughout the week wasn’t the best, floors weren’t brushed/ mopped, and bed dressing was only done once, bathroom floor wasn’t brushed throughout the week, there was only a dustbin available in apartment, bed sheets or towels weren’t changed.( this may have been our own fault as we didn’t leave towels in the shower tray, and I dressed the bed myself) dustbins were emptied regularly.

Clearly expected and given keys quickly.

The staff were not very welcoming and did not give us all the information - particularly how to access the safe. When we asked about this the next day we were charged 2 euros per day for the key. When I finally downloaded the site information using the QR code, I read that we should only have paid a 10 euros deposit. Did not make a fuss as most of the holiday had gone by then but it made me cross.
