Only 2 minor things: * Would be good to have a hairdryer in the rooms * plug sockets are at the light switch in the bedroom, so with the adapters, they don't always work well

Location is allright, cleanliness was better than expected tbh but window curtains were just dirty and should be washed from time to time. I booked my room a few hours before arrival so maybe previous tennant got them oily dirty but we saw oily spots on them. Apart from that this place exceeded our expectations by miles. All staff speaking good english, room service girls are easy to get rid of, swimming pool is close to every room and its maintained daily. All the amusements like billiard, snooker, footbal table etc are EUR1, darts are free. internet worked better than expected.

sofa bed isnt really a bed. one of the toughest attempts of falling asleep in my life. 10 euro deposit for remote control... my daughter spent 2 hours trying to connect tv to wifi so she can watch netlix but it wasnt an option. apparently she went there to watch netflix :/

Do not be put off by the Star rating of this complex. Plaza Azul ticks all the boxes for a nice, quiet, family holiday hence this being our 4th visit in a row. Rooms are basic but clean, pool area intimate with perfect sized pool but the icing on the cake is the couple who run the bars on site. They literally made our holiday! Great snack menu coupled with fantastic price of drinks, good music and football being shown on the large TV in the main bar. We can not wait to go back this year and see them!

No family rooms for a family of 4 when one of the kids are aged 13 or over as they are then classed as an adult.

Plaza Azul is in a very good location close to the strip Staff very friendly and kept the place very clean Reception is 24 hours TV and internet The apartment had a lovely balcony.

People putting towels on the loungers by the pool at 6 o clock in the morning and not using them for several hours despite a 'notice' in reception not to reserve sun loungers. This could be easily monitored by the pool attendant. Therefore we didn't spend any time by the pool. A small bottle of washing up liquid and sponge could be provided in the kitchen.

The location was perfect. Staff were lovely. The place itself wasn't to big. The swimming was nice but I did notice at the bottom of the pool it looked either grubby or dirty so I mostly started to swim in the sea.

The apartment I stayed in could really do with an update. Refresh of paint walls and doors. Plus, it needs a deep clean as in scrubbing around the bath if not a new bath very old. Pipes were grubby and also the opposite side of the fridge door where the unused handle was dirty and never cleaned. Overpriced for what you stayed in apartment wise. Kitchen cabinets are also way outdated, only limited pots, etc.

I love the complex itself the views are spectacular of the mountains with beautiful pool views guaranteed because of the small complex. Staff are always so helpful & friendly especially reception, they go out of their way to help. Great facilities with washing machines, shower room & luggage hold. Pool tables etc. Snack bar has a lovely vibe for a relaxing lunch time bite to eat

It's been a while since I stayed at Plaza Azul & the rooms could do with a small upgrade to ensure they stay modern & up to date but otherwise the complex is as lovely as ever. Well maintained & well looked after from gardens to pool areas, bar & reception areas & always so clean

Location was great, 5 min walk to beach front, facilities were good, friendly English and Irish staff, the apartment itself was lovely bright and lovely views of both pool (from living room balcony) and the town and sea behind (bedroom terrace) we had room A15 Good prices drinks, very English hotel if you like being around fellow English local feeling on holiday, Great that there is a dedicated washroom for guests to use on departure and luggage storage which was very useful as we had a later flight home,

-experience with booking taxi through reception - My only disappointment was the lady on the desk booked us a taxi to airport on departure day, we booked this soon as we arrived 24 hours before (only stayed one night ) and then when we waited for the taxi it didn’t turn up and she just told us it will come but it didn’t and didn’t offer much further help - luckily a taxi pulled up and cancelled a trip to accommodate us. I felt her tone of voice was a little unenthusiastic but other than that it was a fab stay

Property was very clean and nicely presented. in a great location, 3 mins from main strip and large supermarket 300 mtrs away. Nice pool bar.

Although the rules advised no reserving of sunbeds, every morning all were reserved with very few people using them for most of the day. I think if they are not used for an hour or so the towels should be taken off the beds by staff.

This is our third time staying at this property, the location is very handy and just a short walk to the front, it is uphill however this never bothered us. The apartment is clean and looked like it has had a small refurb since our last visit. The apartments are basic but your not paying fortune to stay and does is for what we need! You can hire irons and hairdryers and we hired the remote for 10 euros, with English tv. We would stay again!

Beautiful pool area, pool is huge and also a toddler pool. Snack/ bar area very sociable and staff loved to look after their customers. Perhaps more loungers are required as "towel culture" evident.. Lovely bar area in foyer with games tables. Also case storage and shower facilities after check out which is very useful. Would stay again but would need to consider price as we used wallet credit this time.

Only niggle would be dated apartment and sparce kitchen equipment if regular cooking was needed.
