Great location right next to the metro and tram stops. The room was cosy, clean and had all the basics. Staff was nice and they offer luggage service; we could leave our luggage in the hotel until our room was ready. In fact our room was ready about 1.5 hour before official check in which they let me know via email.

As others pointed out in their reviews you do have to pay in advance on the hotel's website even though booking.com says "pay at the property" which was confusing. Also breakfast is overpriced for €8.50 per person, so we didn't order it. We could see the breakfast area near the entrance which seemed to be too small and thus very crowded. There are lot of cafes nearby where you can get much better quality for cheaper.

S add l though on a busy central street our room was quiet and soundproof. Terrace was a relaxing retreat each afternoon with loungers, table and chairs, catching the afternoon sunshine. Great breakfast each day; fresh, clean and well organised. Friendly helpful staff.

Be careful about when you go for breakfast as on first day a large school party were in and no discs in breakfast room. However a short walk to the nearby Jardins del Real made a great start to the day and on return breakfast room was ready for us.

Hotel Olympia Universidades was excellent. It is in a less touristy area of Valencia, which is fantastic for a good night's sleep. However, there is a transport stop in front of the hotel, which was perfect for travelling to places, whether it's the markets, the City of Arts and Sciences, or Valencia Cathedral. The hotel was welcoming, with staff at the desk at all times to assist with questions and queries; they provided useful advice and helped me to make the most of my stay. The hotel room was okay. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, but the shower had a bit of mould; it wasn't a serious issue, so I was not too worried. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a lovely local area with convenient links around the city.

The shower should be resealed because there was some mould in the sealant, but it wasn't a serious issue.

The location is very good, one block to the metro (subway), Tram stop in front of the hotel. There's a grocery store in the same block, quick access to beach by tram. Staff was nice to provide an early check in. Hotel and room was resonable clean.

It was not super clear that one night payment was required to confirm the reservation and the payment was made outside of the booking app. In the first instance it looked like a scam, I had to call the hotel to confirm if the payment system was legit.

The hotel is in a very good location. Right in front of metro and tram stations, and there is a bus station round the corner, so it is easy to get to any part of the city that could be interesting to a tourist. It is also not too far away from the city center on foot - about 25 minutes or so. There is a big supermarket about 5 minutes from the hotel, and there are plenty of fast food options and tapas bars nearby. The room is on the smaller side, though not too small, but it is pretty comfortable. The shower was larger than I expected. The hotel is situated on a busy street, but the windows do a good job of soundproofing. The curtains are thick, so you wont be woken up early by the light coming from outside. The room also has a mini fridge that is completely quiet, which is a huge plus for me, since I am a light sleeper. The beds are good, though one was more comfortable than the other. Pillows are OK, although I needed two to support my head properly. The room was cleaned and towels changed daily. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Since you can only open the window partially, it was difficult to ventilate the room properly, so it was a bit humid inside. There is an AC, so it is not a deal breaker, but it is noticeable. Also, although the noise from the outside is not a problem, the noise from within the hotel can be, if you have inconsiderate neighbors that slam their doors or talk loudly.

Easily accessible by public transport, clean and comfortable room, good showers, friendly staff members. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Close to city centre.

There was only one big negative and it was that the walls were SO THIN. It sounded like the people in the next room were in my room I could hear their conversation so clearly. It was a family who were talking a lot and I could even hear the father snoring at night!! I had earplugs which solved the issue whilst sleeping but not great at all other times. Not much privacy from your neighbours!

Location is really good. Close to the underground and to the tram stop. I had to change my arrival time and the staff was really kind on the phone understanding my situation. At our arrival the receptionist gave us all the information needed (places near and how to reach them). Our room was quiet and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. All clean.

- Breakfast a little expensive. - Staff a little bit unpersonal (Except for Eduardo. The night guy. He was very nice) - Quite strange the reception decoration. It does not seem a hotel. - Iluminación of the room. Some dark spots.

The location is great as it is located on a 1 min walk from the metro station that runs the main line, you have a great connection with the airport, city center, and train station. The hotel is close enough to the city center to walk the distance, and there are some really nice restaurants and with good prices in the area. The personal was really nice, they helped us book reservations for the Oceanographic and Biopark. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of things to choose from, cooked or not and plenty of fresh pastries. The room was very well isolated as there is a tram station just across the street and we didn’t have any trouble with the noise.

We couldn’t find any issues with this hotel, other that, maybe the room needs some minor retouches,but the price-quality is great, it may not be the case in all the rooms.

Room was superb - spacious and clean. Perhaps one of the best toilets I've seen in a hotel (shower doesn't flood; its floor had a well thought-out design to funnel in water and prevent flooding into the bathroom and potential slips/falls. The tight door seal adds in as well so you're not welcomed by a flooded bathroom floor after a nice warm shower. Going green with the automatic hallway lights - efficient use of electricity - very good! Very generous with the toiletries. Though off the touristy path, a lot of food options downstairs (as it is apparently a university area) plus plus some supermarkets nearby.

Location - off the tourist area, but if walking is not an issue, just a straight walk and it'll bring you to the city centre. Also - the tram is just outside. :) Not that it's bad per se, but they do change the towels daily (even if you hang them to indicate that you don't need/want it changed). While this is a good practice in terms of hygiene, I think it defies the "going green" drive.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights and I must say it met my expectations. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The breakfast was also nice. The gluten free menu is also available on request however it's very minimal and it could be better.

What could be improved is the friendliness of the staff. I had the impression that they are really busy. Also one more thing to consider is the time of the breakfast on the weekends which starts from 8 o'clock. Lastly, the toilet seats should be changed as they had stains.
