The place is beautiful, very clean and well-organized, but what stood out to me the most was the way the owner, unfortunately, I forgot the lady’s name, treated us. She was very polite and very helpful!

I liked everything. I have nothing to complain about. The only thing that can be a bit challenging is sharing just one bathroom for all the rooms. A few times, I went to use it, and it was occupied. Maybe if the toilet and the shower were in separate spaces, it would help. But this is totally acceptable since it’s a guesthouse and not a hotel. The place is beautiful, and it really feels like home. ❤️

The facilities and the sceneries were good, pretty exceptional for a family leisure stay, don't expect a hotel feel, but you will have all the facilities in a hotel

It is not a negative point, but to let the people know more about the property. It is 4 km from the city center, need to have a personal vehicle or hire a taxi to reach the place. Not accessible through public transport. But if you are a frequent trekker or an enthusiastic person to walk, you will enjoy the scenery all along the walk from the city center to the hotel.

I preferred a ‘in nature’ above ‘in town’ as overnight location for my trip from BE to IT. For that purpose, I made a 30 min detour from the freeway. I don’t regret the choice I had to choose an alternative plate for dinner, but the ravioli was tasteful anyhow

I did not expect a shared bathroom, no sure if that was indicated in the room choice. I was looking forward to have cheese fondue for dinner, but it was only available for 2 persons iso 1

We were not expecting such amazing views, The location is amazing with perfect views. Breakfast included with such amazing views was like cherry on the top. Since it was our daughter's birthday, staff even arrange for a small piece of cake and made it very special :) We will be definately visiting again!

Building is bit old and noisy when we walk. We were told that this issue will be resolved soon.

Breakfast was good but we was expecting more. On offer: fresh bread each morning, marmalade, honey and chocolate. Plate of meat and cheese and selection of drinks. All good but not great for vegans (however the host was fab and on day two I was offered lovely vegan yogurts and oat milk!). My family was hoping for a more substantial breakfast for all day skiing. Would be nice to have a selection of muesli (which Switzerland is famous for!), porridge, eggs. Just something warm and substantial to start the day. Fruit would be a nice addition too.

I only to give information to another guest that should be not go to the house in the dark night because it located out of the village the road is very narrow but the Neighborhood very kind to stop car for us

The location is on uphill. Driving to the guesthouse is adventurous at least for non hills driving people. Very nice view of Alps form there. Dinner with very delicious home made / local specials

The floor is wooden and little noisy every time you move. Far very little choices for break fast. they have to add little more stuffs to breakfast

boutique bed and breakfast guesthouse. despite sharing toilet it very clean and felt like home away from home. Patrick and wife gave us a warm welcome despite late check in. we have good breakfast , not fancy but very good to cut to saving in this expensive country. host and staff and friendly. house is warmly decorated despite need to do some climbing. a restaurant that serve tasty meals. very cheap rental.

Location was absolutely stunning, overseeing the mountains. They offered dinner on site - which we enjoyed with the best views. Staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs (vegan / vegetatian). Doggie was very welcome.

House was quite poorly insulated and noisy during the nights. Thankfully they provided earplugs to all guests to counterbalance creaky floors.

Location is so perfect, serene, on top of the mountain, with grasslands arounds and snow covered mountains few miles away. I absolutely love this place in Engelberg and it was my second stay there this year.

The beds make sound, pillows need to be more puffy and thick.
