I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silvana Mountain Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism, elegance, and attention to detail that defines this stunning hotel. Every member of the staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to accommodate any request with warmth and genuine care. The hotel's organization and service were flawless, making my stay as effortless as it was luxurious. The location is absolutely perfect for skiing, offering breathtaking views and direct access to the slopes—truly the best spot on the mountain. The hotel itself feels like something out of a fairy tale, with its charming, yet sophisticated ambiance. One of my favorite moments was sitting by the cozy wood fire during dinner, the crackling flames adding to the intimate and inviting atmosphere. The spa facilities are state-of-the-art, providing a relaxing retreat after a day on the slopes. A relaxing message is a must after a day adventuring in the Alps. And the food—words can’t do it justice! Every meal was a delight, crafted to perfection with exquisite flavors that made each dining experience a true pleasure. I can’t recommend Silvana Mountain Hotel highly enough. It’s the epitome of luxury, comfort, and warmth, and I look forward to returning for many more unforgettable stays.

I loved everything

The hotel is amazing and we would go back any time! The owners picked us up from the train station and explained a bit about the town. They were always checking if we needed anything, but they weren't pushy or intrusive. The hotel is as clean and lovely as it gets. The SPA is beautiful, we were the only ones there so the experience was even better. Overall we would recommend it to everyone looking for a premium cosy stay.

The burger at the restaurant. EVERYTHING else was 10/10

The hotel was incredible! Every room, including the lounge, restaurant, spa, and guest rooms, was luxurious and rustic. The beds were so cozy, the spa and pool were amazing, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly, funny, and personable. We really enjoyed conversations with Marc, Marcus, and Sarah. We would stay here again and look forward to the next visit!

This was one of my favourite hotels I've stayed in. The staff were so friendly, the spa facilities excellent, breakfast wonderful, lovely playground for our two children, and our room was perfect. We loved the location in the forests above Zermatt and decided to have a quiet day enjoying the surrounding area and hotel because it was so lovely. Would love to have stayed for longer.

Nothing, it was wonderful

Your experience begins when you take a gondola up the mountain to get to the hotel. It's a bit of a hike, but well worth it as you come up to a beautiful hotel. The main entrance, rooms and especially the pool and spa facilities are out of this world. What tops it all is that the owner is very friendly and personable, and it was such a blessing to meet him. This is one place where I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Loved it so much we extended our stay.

Having to leave!!!

Once you are there, the hotel is positively charming. Top catering, super friendly staff, tasteful decoration, stunning view, top comfort.

The information about how to access the hotel is misleadingly incomplete at booking.com ‘side. Zermatt is not accessible by car AT ALL. You have to leave your car and take the train from the previous village in the valley. Then you cross the entirety of Zermatt before you can take a cable car that will bring you to the hotel itself. It took us roughly 2hours do do the last 10km. Booking.com was absolutely unclear about this aspect. Literally zero information. We only learned the specifics after the (no-cancellation) reservation went through and the hotel reached out to us. This is not acceptable. @booking.com please correct this.

Property really delightful, characterful but stylish. Location stunning but once there it's very expensive to travel into town for a change of scene or to have dinner in Zermatt. Owner Dany absolutely charming as we're the majority of staff. One or two male staff members a bit dour but overall a fabulous stay. Would recommend.

The location was stunning and fabulous for ski-in, ski-out. However, we should have taken more notice of the need to taxi into town in the evening if dinner in Zermatt is on the agenda. A treat to ride the electric taxis through the snowy forested landscape but an expensive one at CHF80 each way.

Spa was great. Cosy hotel.

Too far from village, no proper service into village. Hotel should facilitate transport. An electric taxi cost 80 euros one way. If I had this information beforehand I would off not booked hotel. Staff were friendly enough but sometimes felt like we were bothering them. Maybe because we did not speak German?

Wonderful mountain Hotel !!!!

A true ski-in/ski-out. Quiet environment in the mountains. Beautiful hotel. Nice staff. Great food We enjoy sledding down one night to Zermatt village! So fun!

Everything was great! We will come back!
