Everything was great - location in the center od old city still with green garden and small swimming pool to cool down. Fantastic personel - friendly and supportive. Good communication in English. Nice, clean and spacious room with own bathroom. Well equipped - e.g. hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel, slippers, towels, small fridge, bottled warters and tea set. Cleaning available every day. Breakfast included in the cost of room and served from 7-11 with mix of european and thai style food that you can grab as per your preference. Nice additional services - laundry, trips recommendations etc. Highly recommend to everybody.

I stayed at Estia for a total of three weeks in two different rooms. At first, sharing a modern twin bed room with a friend and second, staying in another classical building by myself (queen size bed). The property was in the perfect spot for me: In the middle of Old Town and thus walking distance to all interesting sight seeing spots within 15-20 minutes. The night market is right next street. I even ventured as far a Nimman by foot which is well worth visiting. All staff at Estia is exceptionally friendly with a particular lady at reception standing out (forgot to write her name down). The pool is well maintained and makes for a great dip to refresh during the day. Several good restaurants and yoga around. Overall, I was really happy and would stay there again.

The staff here was really great! There was one woman who was at the front desk quite a bit and she was so friendly, her English was also great, she always had a smile and was so nice. Pool was nice and clean and great to cool off after long days riding in the mountains. Only wish people would mind their children a bit more. There seemed to be quite a few children while we were there, with lots of screaming, jumping, splashing, throwing pool toys around, with parents paying little to no attention or reprimanding even though there were signs saying no to this kind of behavior. Hard to relax and enjoy while getting splashed and avoiding children jumping off the center circle. Breakfast was basic fare but with a good selection with coffee/espresso machine. Room as clean and had good space for luggage and ample counter space which is always nice. Had a good parking area tucked away behind to keep our bikes. We stayed during Songkran and because this is a bit tucked away off of main roads you would've never known until you walked out. I've stayed many places over the years during Songkran festivities and I think this is one of the best for a calm quiet oasis.

The people with children staying there.

Lovely big rooms with nice layout, clean and very comfortable. Good aircon and provide 2 bottles of water each day and can refill downstairs. Replenish toiletries each day so good if you’re travelling light. In the centre of the old town so a great base for a stay in Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have loads of info on tours and activities, we used a travel agent in the old town (would recommend as they actually gave us a better price than if we booked ourselves) but really helpful to get an idea of what you want to do. The breakfast was ok, but there are loads of great little cafes in town. Breakfast was convenient when we were getting picked up for day trips. Would recommend Estia and would stay here again.

The location of this hotel is ideal! Close to several restaurants and a major street with shops, massage salons, very reasonable traditional food outdoor restaurants and the major temples are within a short walk. The room which we had was large, very clean and very quiet. We had a view outside to the side of a building but it was great to have a view outside. There was a small refreshing pool which was always occupied and for long periods of time, therefore we found that swimming in the early evening was more available. The service was great! People who worked there were helpful and kind. The breakfast was great! Not as much variety as other places but more than enough for us. Coffee was good and fruit and vegetables were fresh. A very good value for what we paid.

The pool area has been upgraded since the photos and felt really relaxing, like a jungle paradise. The breakfast was decent but a little limited. We liked to take our breakfast outside to eat in the sun because the breakfast room felt a little dark. The location is great and the room was spacious. It was very quiet at night.

Our room was a little dark because the bathroom was on the window side. The WiFi passport has to be entered every time (and wasn’t an easy to remember password). There’s no convenience store nearby but the hotel was water and drinks for sale for a cheap price. We would have loved to have been able to order some fun drinks to have by the pool too!

The location was great for us. Being off of the main road meant not having to hear any city and traffic noise. It was still convenient to walk to many areas or get transportation. The rooms were very comfortable. Shower water pressure was good BUT those who took showers in the morning said the hot water would run out. Breakfast was better than expected!

Four of our rooms were in building "B" with no issues, but one was in the handicap accessible building "A." The room was still great, BUT it was located directly above the outdoor smoking area. The weather was cooler during our stay, but the windows could not be opened due to the constant cigarette smoke.

Staff, always helpful, polite and smiling. This was my 4th time in Chiang Mai, but staff was extra nice. Breakfast was fairly good with at least one new meal for 3 days of our stay.

Cleanliness, like in many places in Thailand or lack thereof. Especially in bathroom. Hot water wasn't always as hot as I would like and with more time you spend there - it got colder despite being instant heater. Also what might be important to some people - AC is directly opposite of the bed. So if you're using it - it blows directly to you.

We stayed for 4 nights on our 1 month honeymoon in Thailand and the hotel staff prepared us a homemade local gift to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a kind and loving gesture! Sympathy and flexibility from the staff, easy check in and they keep the luggage till the check in if you arrive earlier. The hotel is very clean. The pool is perfect all day, but the best part is using the pool at night (till 10 pm), after a long day of exploring the city. The breakfast is delicious, always with a touch of Thai dishes!

The staff are all fantastic! They're all very friendly and always anxious to be helpful. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adjusted for us so we could eat before leaving on our 7:00am tours. We booked 2 tours directly from the hotel for a reasonable price and were very satisfied with both. The location in the old city is very convenient and quiet. I will happily return if I go back to Chiang Mai.

The pool is small, but clean and ok. The breakfast is a little basic, but met my expectations.
