Amazing location. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Bunk beds were very comfy (top bunks were apparently comfier so I made sure to get one!) There are leaflets everywhere with things to do and the staff are more than happy to either help book or recommend what to do during your stay. We booked as a big group (maybe 25-30 of us) and 3 of our girls had a problem with a man they were sharing a room with, the staff at first were hesitant to kick him out, but they did what was right and thankfully kicked him out of the hostel for his disgusting behaviour, this made us think even higher of the hostel. Would recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai, especially females!

I am staying at this place for the second year in a row for a large number of days, because this hostel is the best that could be imagined, the location, the place to work outside at the tables, massage salon, the food nearby - you are really in the center of Chiang Mai and it feels like it. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff for finding and keeping my silver ring that I forgot in the hostel, and also allowing me to hold large suitcases for a few days so that I could go to Chiang Dao and Pai lightly. I really appreciate it and will definitely come back next year❤️

Great location, incredible staff, and amazing value. The square where the hostel is located has a cafe, massage place, laundromat, AND motorbike rental. It’s all right there! Plus, it’s right in the city center. The staff are so kind and willing to help. It’s convenient to book tours directly through the hostel for your trip. Super social, but not party! I made some amazing friends while staying here.

A little dirty. The bathrooms could use some TLC, which is looks like they were in the middle of while I was there! Saw some painting going on. If you stay in the downstairs rooms they ask you to use the upstairs bathrooms, but that’s really not convenient when you have to go in the night :/ I understand why because the downstairs bathrooms REALLY need some help. The downstairs rooms also do not have any windows, so it is really dark in there :( could be 10 AM, but it feels like the middle of the night if the lights aren’t on. Really messed with me.

People are really nice and it's clean. Although you should be able to have yours or their slippers for the bathroom.

The room does not have a window with 8 beds and at one moment 6 people in it. Also switching off AC from 11am until 6 pm when the temperature outside is highest is some strange logic. Unless one person inside it gets really hot and can be stinky. But if you ask them to turn it on because there are more people and you are sweating they will do it. Since I was in another hostel a month before I had better bed curtains, here if you turn on the light in your bed curtains are transparent. In another hostel they were not.

The checkin was super quick. The hostel is in old town central location almost walking distance to many attractions. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the AC was working well. Clean washrooms and in-house food, coffee facility. Massage and bike rental are also at the site, which is a big advantage They charge 300THB as security for the keys, which is returned at the checkout. The towel charges are 400Thb.

The bunk beds do not have a curtain in the front, so there is no privacy in the room of ur sleeping , and the light is disturbing at odd timings.

The room was clean, but they would turn off the A/C in the day when they would have gest still asleep. But the staff was helpful and kind. I am an type 2 diabetic and they help me keep my insulant cold in the Ref. and would remind me about it and when I left the made sure they told me, not to forget my insulant. and that was the first time that a holet ,or hostel did that . I fine that to be outstanding with the staff and midpoint Hostel. And when I return to Chain Mai I will Stay at the Midpoint Hostel.

Budget friendly accomodation when you want to have your own room. Room was exactly as the picture and is perfect for 1 person with a cute little balcony. Quiet at night. Located in centre of Chiang Mai old town, close to many tourist destinations, eateries, currency exchange and convenient stores. Sunday night street market is only 2 minute walk. Reception staff speaks english and is pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.

When bathroom ventilation is on the bathroom smells like sewerage but once off smell is gone. Air conditioning is loud which didn’t bother me but may concern light sleepers. Some towels provided had stains.

We were greeted instantly, even though we weren’t in reception yet as there were other people in there. They gave us water and offered to carry my bags as I had an injury. The beds were comfy, although I’ve heard some can be really hard. They do have a free very very basic breakfast (they didn’t tell us about it though until the second morning).

The bathrooms could have used more cleaning, the women’s had hair everywhere. They don’t offer service such as booking onwards travel, we were just told to go to the bus station. The laundry service is more than 24hrs, so if you are only staying one day it doesn’t really work for you.

Nice facilities, the best and most clean toilets and bathrooms among all hostels i stayed in Thailand. The owner is kind, and smiling. They have a huge area common areas where you can chill and/or work. I really love the vibes of this hostel.

Staff were not so nice, and not systematic. I stayed in the hostel for 3 days already and when I booked for a room upstairs, they still made me wait to check-in until 2 pm even though there's really an available bed already. Made me feel bad, i felt homeless for a couple of hours. I should have just gone to another hostel then if I knew that they will treat me like a newcomer. Very hassle to have all my stuffs outside and wait for long hours just to move to another room.

The staff is always smiling, helpful and competent, there's nothing they can't fix, from laundry to boking any excursion..The dorm was clean and silent, with a beautiful aesthetic, the beds have a small light and a plug for you recharger, a couple of shelves for your little things. Under the bed you can use a drawer that locks (bring the lock from home-in case they have plenty to rent you). The cleaning are ladies always around for all your needs, the common bathroom is clean and big, several showers and toilets. Th hostel is close to the center in a cute food court with bars and restaurants, on Sundays the surrounding roads are closed for the walking market and is very close to temples and plenty of cute typical restaurants and handmade jewelery shops.
