Great location with 2 pools & right on the beach. Staff in the restaurant & beach bar were so friendly & welcoming. Room was nice although the shower area could do with a spruce up.

The bed was like sleeping on concrete. I asked for a topper so they promptly put this on our bed which added extra comfort. What I didn’t like was the fact the sheets were hung over the veranda while this was done & they got dirt on them so we were charged 1000 baht for this. They advised the sheets were ruined & couldn’t be cleaned, yet refused to give it to me upon payment. This was a complete joke & ruined our stay here. We spent so much money in the restaurant, swim up bar & beach restaurant & they refused to take responsibility

The location is very good. You can walk easy to a lot of places. There are a lot of places to eat and the mall is closeby. The staff are nice and polite. In the reviews from other people you can read about the noise from the arkbar. I think you have to be lucky with the location of your room. I had roomnumber C11 and I didn’t hear the noise from the bar. Only sound are from the airplanes.

The beds are firm but this is in every place in Thailand. People will reserve their sunbeds with a towel very early in the morning but aren’t at their sunbeds for most of the day. This issue you also have at every resort with a pool or beach.

Staff, hotel vibe, space, thai style, not cramped like a lot of modern resorts but good facilities. Very good value for money, decent breakfast again for budget. The owner who is quite elderly is still very friendly, hands on and chats to the guests and it shows in her staff attitude, helpfulness they are or are like family. They learned from a wise person who invested a lifetime in a lovely hotel

Sadly ARK Bar has moved next door, noise is mostly tolerable am sure the owners are doing their best to mitigate and control, but being Thailand and the live and let live vibe it can be difficult for people staying on that side of the resort. Just a personal issue I hate really hard beds and really struggled with this. It is a common problem in Thailand and for some this could be a major sleep issue. One room key in this day and age is annoying but again a small thing

Right on the swimming beach

Grand Bungalow was very nicely appointed. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fabulous. This is probably the most lovely resort on Chaweng Beach, and it really is a Garden. The pool is very nice, as are the lounge chairs around the beach and pool. Our room was about 50 steps from the ocean. Great swimming in very clean water.

There is some noise from the adjacent beach club that goes till about midnight on weekdays and 3am on weekends. The hotel asked if we wanted a quieter room, but the noise wasn't enough to make us want to downgrade. There is an aroma from septic tanks that seems to hover around the NE corner of the resort, including the site of our bungalow. There is a bit of feeding frenzy to claim beach lounges in the morning as there appear to not quite be enough of them for all the guests. There is a lot of public smoking, which is especially annoying in the somewhat close quarters of beach lounges. We did not see any designated no smoking areas.

Beautiful older resort with lots of solid wood furnishings. A lot of extra touches went into making a stay here extra nice. Excellent staff, always pleasant and helpful. Rooms were a good size with everything you need. Beds were extra firm but I found them super comfy. Balcony was huge and nicely furnished. Lots of English speaking TV channels. Plenty of loungers on the beach and around the two pools. Breakfast was ample and well presented. Beach is stunning. A few minor things could use modernizing (i.e., room keys, etc.) but nothing major. If you want to be in the middle of the action in Chaweng you can't pick a better hotel/resort. If you want quiet nights, look elsewhere. I can't wait to return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort! The hotel is right on the perfect Chaweng beach and at the same time located at the city center, where there are plenty of restaurants and entertainment options. The location couldn’t be better—peaceful for relaxing yet close to everything. The lush greenery all around the property creates a peaceful, tropical atmosphere, and the fantastic pool winds like a river between the rooms—truly unique and relaxing. The room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and every detail of my stay was handled with care. The hotel staff could also arrange convenient transport to and from the airport. We highly recommend Chaweng Garden Beach Resort for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a truly memorable beach getaway.

All was perfect!

Exceptionally warm and welcoming resort, with a small hotel feel. Personable and friendly staff at all levels. A variety of room options available - we were four travellers who each had their own room, located adjacent. We had garden rooms this time but in the past have had the superior pool view - there was not really much different in the accommodation apart from the location. Ample and varied breakfast, and two lovely pools. Fantastic beach access with the best beach in Chaweng at your doorstep, and from the other side of the resort, step out onto Chaweng beach road with access to everything you could want in that direction, yet in the grounds, it is calm and peaceful. It’s not gleaming and pristine ultra modern sparkling white so if it is that kind of hotel you are looking for, don’t choose this one - but it suits us and we hope the owners don’t change anything!

A lot of people worry about the noise from the Ark Bar next door. You can hear the noise at times but to us it was not distracting or disturbing.

Location, close to beach and beach clubs and close to bars, shops, gyms etc. Good beach, great staff, lush resort.

The sand walkways are so so but works as you can rinse of your feet from the clay barrels with water next to your door. Hardest bed I've ever felt but we did sleep ok in it anyways to be honest. For older people the sound from Ark bar can probably be quite annoying. They should touch up the pool area deck and loungers a bit and make it neater overall to make it feel a bit less worn out. Several days we were without hot water and it was hit and miss most days where it was tricky to get a good temp.

Wonderful hotel, lovely and helpful staff with all the conveniences you may need (amazing massage near the beach, restaurant on the beach including seafood bbq), cocktail bar (with happy hour !!) swimming pools suitable for kids and adults (2 of them). Room cleaning was performed daily, breakfast was delicious with enough options. Prices of massage, restaurant and other services were very reasonable. During our stay our child got sick and reception was very helpful to find a doctor and when we opted to go to the hospital they even drove us there free of charge. We warmly thank them for their help !!! Whilst there is a famous bar nearby (The ArkBar), inside the room we didn't experience much noise. Airplanes also pass over the hotel but frankly, given every upside of the hotel and amazing staff, we were not bothered and will come again. In the evening, you'll be less than 100 meters walking distance to the main Chaweng avenue with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs to accommodate your needs.
