The breakfast was not good at all. The fruits were stale; bananas on offer, for example, were blackened and the rest of the food items not fresh. We had breakfast for one day and then went outside to a cafe because it was much much better in terms of the food. Previous visits to Istanbul and hotel breakfasts have been excellent so this was a bit of an unexpected downside.

Breakfast. And more advise on dinner places/restaurants/etc by the hotel desk managers — some didn’t know what was available in the area which is centrally located. That said the desk staff and most of the staff were very very kind; ask for Rabia. They were helpful and understanding. Will go back here. Great location; clean premises. Safe area.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff are great. Very friendly and helped with a lot. The food and breakfast is one of the best I’ve had. Traditional Turkish and continental breakfast every morning. Simit brought in daily from Karakoy Simit which is one of the best rated simit bakeries. Fresh seasonal fruit, delicious nuts, selection of olives from around Turkey, cheeses. Everything is labeled. There’s pancakes and savouries. Even Turkish egg dishes that are normally served for lunch are at breakfast including Turkish halwa. The pastry and bread selection is huge. The staff are also happy to make eggs to your liking. The location of this hotel is fantastic. Not in the touristy busy area. It is located on a main busy road but the sound proof is good within. Makes it easier to get around. The hotel is beautiful decorated. Lovely restaurant with a view and a nice rooftop terrace. Within walking distance to great restaurants, most attractions. Galata tower is across the road and two streets up. 10min easy flat walk to Galata port, 25 min easy walk over the bridge with views all around to Blue Mosque and old town. Also easy to walk to Istikal street and Taksim square. Easy ferry access to go to the Asian side. The rooms are spacious and modern. Very nice bathrooms and linen. This was the most enjoyable holiday due to the hotel being in close proximity to many attractions. Made it easy to go out and come back to rest and then out to dinner again. All walking.

The ambiance throughout the hotel is warm and inviting, with an energy that makes you feel right at home. The amenities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly want for a luxurious and comfortable stay — whether it’s the chic rooftop bar, elegant restaurant, or thoughtfully designed communal spaces. This hotel truly has all the elements of a 5-star experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to return!

There are no faults. This hotel is flawless in every way!

Everything was very good! We enjoy our stay in this nice hotel. The staff is very polite, the cleaning boy is so nice, the reception lady Arar also.

Also, the noise in the rooms from the street side is terrible. It is very- very noisy. I think that must make some isolation from this side of the hotel or change the windows. I didn’t like that the terrace on the 5-th floor was opening after 12:00 o’clock. In the morning if you want to drink your coffee there is close. In the same time everyone is smoking in front of the entrance of the hotel instead of going on the terrace. The view from there and the atmosphere are very nice. I really don’t understand why we can not use it in the morning with the coffee. It wouldn't bother anyone if it was open before 12:00.

This is my second stay at 10 Karakoy, it's my go-to hotel in Karakoy. I'm a frequent traveller to Istanbul and I find this hotel to be one of the best in terms of location and facilities overall. I believe it was recently renovated from our last stay everything was excellent and I would go again in future.

There was one bellboy giving an attitude to us and he even gave the same attitude to the driver who picked us to the airport that even the driver was shocked. Burak on on the other hand, was very helpful and went out of his was to help in every possible way. he even ordered us a taxi from a turkish app on his personal phone when we were not able to find one on our application.

The atmosphere was perfectly calm and cosy, amidst the chaotic area. We liked the interior design, especially the lobby and the breakfast area. Location is great for reaching major sightseeing venues. We really loved the breakfast - great value for money.

From this type of property, I would expect a spa and a bar to be able to enjoy a cocktail after a full day of sightseeing, especially as the common spaces are so beautiful and would allow for that. The staff could have been more experienced in customer relations / English language.

The best location in Istanbul.The hotel is close to all the amazing sites to visit and is so quite and after a hot day walking outside is like enter a peaceful Heaven.This was my second visit in a month and each time I stayed for two weeks I find the place better and better.The staff is extraordinary profesional ,kind and always trying to help.I recommend this hotel.I travel around the world and visit many grand hotels but on my heart this is the best hotel for me.The rooms spacious and so clean, the breakfast is quite amazing and for me was the perfect place to stay for two weeks.

I cannot find anything bad

The one cleaning staff lady with the hijab was so kind and nice to us it made all the difference about feeling welcomed. Also the door guy and the technician were really kind and welcoming.

Too much Christmas themed decorations even after Christmas before New Year’s Eve. At the checkout other staff tried to convince us for 15-20 minutes to let them book a airport transfer service. It was so salesy we decided to book a Uber instead. The Uber was a little bit cheaper but not much. I would have booked their transfer if they had just asked once without sales tactics.

The location is great, close to everything. The rooms feel luxurious, everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly! We had a little issue with the room upon arrival, which the staff handled really quickly and with the utmost professionalism. They take really good care of their guests and our stay was outstanding, we were actually sad to leave! Special thanks to Ebrar who was so welcoming and helpful. She was super responsive both over text and in person, and made our stay go really smoothly!

The entrance of the hotel is straight onto a busy road The Cleaning Service often, woke us up in the morning, they still work with “do not disturb” hangers and have no other method of checking weather guests are inside the room. The hotel staff was not effectively helpful with getting a cab to the airport. The first 2 days our shower was clogged, that however was solved quickly.
