Hello, everything well. The location is very good but the neighbourhood is kind of scary after 9.00pm. The rooms are good and clean but something is missing for a five star hotel. the extra touch i guess. Breakfast was excellent. Food very good. Personnel!!! definitely good people, willing to help. They must try to improve their english. They must familiarize themselves with people's different cultures, respect their education, even status. They are representing a five star hotel with five star prices. Turkish people do not trust easily and they are survivalist. They have there own code(s),...which is highly respected. But other people living abroad, have different culture and habits. I will definitely come back to the hotel again. Thank you. This place deserves 10 out of 10 rating! The Front desk manager Murad and his team went above and beyond. The house keeping staff were simply attentive and always greet you with a smile. The restaurant has astonishing views of historic Istanbul. The pictures honestly don’t do the property justice. Vibrant neighborhood with amazing architecture. Don’t miss the old hammam attached to the hotel. The hotel on it’s own is a destination that is worth taking a trip for. Thank you for an amazing stay experience and service. I will definitely come back again, inshallah 🙏

My recent stay at M Gallery Galata was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The location couldn’t be more ideal, nestled right in the heart of Istanbul, just steps from the iconic Galata Tower, vibrant Karaköy, and a short stroll to the Bosphorus and Galata Port. The staff truly go above and beyond in every way. From front desk to concierge to housekeeping, everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and eager to assist. They provided fantastic travel tips, helped with bookings for Bosphorus cruises and guided city tours, and even directed me to the best place to buy authentic baklava! The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with clean, elegant décor that blends classic charm with modern luxury. Every corner of the hotel, from the lobby to the restaurants radiates style and comfort. My room was perfect, beautifully designed and exceptionally comfortable. What really stood out was the personal touch throughout the stay. The concierge team offered excellent guidance on how to navigate Istanbul, where to eat like a local, and even arranged last-minute reservations for me with ease. This was not just a stay, it was an experience. M Gallery Galata exceeded every expectation, and I will absolutely be returning in the near future. If you're traveling to Istanbul, don’t think twice because this is the place to be.

Everything was great.

First and foremost is the location of the hotel, which is great. Close to Galata tower and an easy starting point to walk to a large number of spots you want to visit. From restaurants to rooftop bars, to the main (shopping) streets. The main mosques are also reachable by foot, but will take a while, although highly recommended as there is so much to see and it is very nice to walk through Istanbul. Furthermore the hotel is very modern and decorated in a stylish and yet still Turkish manner. The hotel is located in an old bank, with old parts (such as the vault) is kept, giving it a very chic look. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When needing at taxi or tips or directions the staff is very supportive. There is a very nice restaurant located on the second floor, which offers an impressive breakfast buffet with all the international and local options you can think of. The rooms are quite spacious, well maintained and very clean. And the bed are very comfortable. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Only attention points are that it seems the rates have gone up significantly after our stay. For the rates we paid it is certainly value for money, however I could argue that now. However, the cost of everything in Turkey (especially in Istanbul) have increased significantly, and unfortunately seem to keep increasing at the same rate.

We were not expecting the level of luxury we encountered for the price we paid. And there is a restored 18th century hamaam onsite (!) we took advantage of a free 30 minute session in the hammaam—what a privilege to be able to go in our robes from room to hamaam. The location is ideal. 5-10 minutes to waterfront or up to Galata tower.

For some reason they kept forgetting there were two of us in the room so we had to ask several times for extra towels or second robe. But each time they brought right away.

the location, style and rooms are very nice .

the staff is unbelievable . paying is a hassle. if you get the “pay at the property option” they go crazy for you to give them a deposit because they are worried you will not show up, if you pay in advance they don’t register payments (I paid for an upgrade and they didn’t freighter it). you call and they say it is not working hours (at a hotel????) then they don’t speak English and have No idea what you are talking about….. I seriously do not recomend it because of this

Excellent room, spacious and nicely decorated, wonderful views of the Galata Tower and the Golden Horn. Ideal location to explore the historical neighbourhoods of Istanbul. The two restaurants on the premises are a great option for dining in with a view

The historical hammam is a great addition to the hotel, only the complimentary access does not include a steam room. Smoking is allowed in the Perri restaurant and the staff’s English language skills are limited (but service is friendly)

The front desk and staff at the spa were so kind and genuine I felt so comfortable and taken care of. I appreciated all the amenities especially the nice hair dryer and soaps in the room.

The shower floor would overflow every shower and was really annoying as it would get the carpet wet in the room. I also wish the staff in the breakfast area was kinder, I came 30 minutes before breakfast ended and the staff was rushing everyone to leave. I asked if I could bring some food to my room and the waitress was rude about it and told me no.

Location was amazing and the hotel itself was gorgeous - we had access to a room with a balcony which we enjoyed in the evenings. The only comment was that the hotel staff were not warm or friendly. They were helpful if we asked but generally felt they could have been more welcoming. The cleaner we had on our floor (level 5) was amazing and super nice and helpful.

Staff could have been friendlier

Prime location for tourists as near historical attractions, like the Galata Tower and good transportation links, like the T1 tram (which takes you to most tourists locations in the city). The staff were always available and going the extra mile to be attentive and accommodating. The onsite SPA is amazing (having been my second time visiting the SPA) and we’ll definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay and have nothing negative to say. Just that, on the occasion we visited, the restaurant was undergoing renovations so was able to facilitate the full restaurant experience.
