Nice location, with nice facilities included durring the stay. Staff is friendly, place has huge potential, but more clean, more new. Nice restaurant, sauna, jacuzzi. Good view. Great potential.

A little bit more attention on the cleaning and for the guests. Some things have to be removed. Place looks old, and some things need to be replaced. Rooms need to be renovated for the stars the hotel has. Looks 2 star hotel actually. And second: As far as I've seen in the comments, it is true about the constant change of the rooms. You almost never get the same room that you ordered, and receive a different kind of room. Also, have to mention the tax for tourists and deposit before planning your trip. So these details, I consider very important.

Great location, close to the lake, with a bus stop providing access to the station and along the lakeside. Coffee and tea making facilities. UK TV stations. Friendly, helpful staff, especially on reception who helped solve some problems we encountered and the concierge was very helpful and informative.

1. Noise from the busy road 2. Our superior room was as advertised; our friends were also supposed to be in a superior room. Their room, 219, is tiny and definitely not as advertised. 3. Several times, the coffee and tea were not replenished. On one occasion, our friends went over the road to the main hotel to collect some. They were told staff would bring some over. An hour later, when nothing had arrived, they were told there would be a 10CHF (equivalent to £9) room service charge.... to carry over a few coffee and tea sachets, which should have been replaced anyway! Our friends went without for the remainder of that day and the following morning.

When I was doing my check in I felt I was being profiled by the person of the hotel. Not sure if he thought his comments or jokes were funny but for me I felt them offensive. I think the hotel should spend more time training some members of his staff in this matter. Coincidentally when doing my check out, a different member of the staff was a little bit rude when I requested my invoice. If a hotel asked me during the check in for my credit card as a guarantee even when everything was already paid through Booking.com I think at the end they should provide the invoice to the customers without them asking, right? I hope Booking.com provides this feedback to the high management of the Hotel.

Great location with a bus stop right by it. Three adults in a room with a double plus good sized sofa bed. Both comfortable. Air con did its job while it was 33C outside so grateful for that. Roof terrace very nice. Small fridge but it was ice cold and kept our milk and water perfectly. Lots of plug sockets and usb for charging phones etc. The cleaning staff were friendly. Reception staff very helpful and stored our bags when we arrived early and left late due to our train times. Sadly didn’t get to use the spa facility as only stayed 2 nights and had long busy days visiting places such Chaplins World.

The lighting in the room was odd. The main switch by the door turned everything on/off including bedside lamps. One lamp had no on/off so had to get into bed in the dark after pressing the main switch.

I am upset about 1 important point, we came to Montreux and Vevey area for seeing the museums saps and I bought the tickets for Alimentarium, Chaplin’s world and Callier House in advance. whereas I learned that the riviera card was a complementary gift at the check in to the hotel. As I bought the tickets in advance I am now at a disadvantage of 100CHF in total. I wish this information was provided in booking.com in advance. I wouldn’t like to lose this amount of money in such a way. Although I asked the museum entrances later they didn’t accept my claim so I can’t get a refund

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel overall. Check-in takes place at a nearby sister property, just a short distance away, which was very smooth and not an issue at all. This neighboring hotel also provides access to the spa facilities, including a sauna, swimming pool, and hammam—all exceptionally well-maintained and enjoyable. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay. I loved everything about my time here.

The only minor issue was that I requested a plate and spoon from the reception, intending to use them to eat in my room. The receptionist assured me these would be brought to my room, which was no problem at all. However, when I checked back several hours later, I was told there would be a charge for the items, which hadn’t been mentioned earlier. I decided not to use them after all and said I didn’t need them if there was a fee. The receptionist agreed, but the items were not removed from my room. I didn’t use or pay for them, but I found it slightly confusing that they remained there. Aside from this small detail, I truly enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much for such a lovely experience!

The hotel was very lovely, with lots of character and furnished nicely. The room came with free access to totally amazing spa in the hotel across the road. It really was great. The location was superb - close to the train station and it had a fantastic promenade right outside which went to miles alongside Lake Geneva.

Our room had no aircon and it was quite small so it was quite hot. My friend requested for us to move and the next day they kindly moved us to a beautiful room the other hotel where they did have aircon. We loved that room too! The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. All in all we loved the place!

Great location near the lake and train station! Access to the spa and amenities at the sister hotel across the street. Nice decor with marble etc The room had rollershades which were great for privacy. Very convenient to drop off our Avis rental car at the front desk of the sister hotel. I understand how some may see some signs of worn carpet etc., but for me it's not an issue and I'd rather have a more economical stay. 100% would stay there again.

Spa closes a bit early.

Comfortable bed, spacious room. Good continental breakfast. Location : handy being just across the road from Royal Plaza hotel - breakfast and use of spa there. Nice swimming pool in spa.

No air conditioning in our room, which was a problem given the unusually intense heatwave during our stay. The fans helped, but not enough. Also, lots of road noise, and we couldn't close our windows to reduce this because of the heatwave.

The Villa Toscane hotel is perfectly fine. It's a bit of an odd setup in that you won't see anyone at this hotel - the check in and any queries etc are dealt with at the hotel across the road. The hotel across the road is also where the excellent breakfast is served, overlooking the lake, and you can use its gym and swim and sauna facilities too, which is a nice bonus. The hotel is situated on a main bus route and is a 10 min walk to the train station
