The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel looks new, and very clean. We utilized the garage parking under the hotel ($40/day), which was great for not just security, but also to get the car out of the 100 degree day. Easy to park, and elevator right there to get to the lobby (and/or our floor), without having to go back outside. The room was clean, beds and pillows very comfortable (choice of soft and firmer pillows). Lots of counter space in bathroom. Bathroom had a nightlight built into wall outlet, which is something you only think about when getting up at 2am in the dark (and don't want to turn the lights on), but sure is handy . Bathtub/shower very clean, easy to use fixtures. Curtains blocked out all street light. The room was soundproof - on the 2nd floor, next door to firehouse, facing Queens Blvd, and didn't hear a peep all night. The AC was super quiet, but worked great. The big wall tv worked (!), easy to use. USB and electrical outlets on top of the nightstands and dresser area, for easy access. All of the above should be the norm for every hotel, but it's not. We stay overnight in the city about every 6-8 weeks, and we've stayed at some real duds (that cost more!), so this was so nice to finally have a place that checks all the (right) boxes. That's why this review is so positive! And the breakfast buffet the next morning - also very nice!

Convenient to Forest Hills, where we needed to be and which has no hotels. Clean, in good shape, friendly staff, affordable, breakfast included, fridge and microwave in room.

Room was small, bathroom was freezing (it was a very cold night), breakfast food was not good (but I didn’t expect it to be, it was plentiful and fresh, just not tasty)

The suite was large with ample room that allows you to feel like you can chill out in your room . The floor plan is laid out nice. Rooms are sound proofed and the pillows are perfectly plump and soft. TVs are large and it smelled nice when we walked in.

It’s a good ten minute walk t the nearest subway (or $12 taxi which you have to call yourself or grab one at he train station when returning). The walk is up hill for more than half. The good news is that there is a grocery store one block away and that block has a Dominos, Dunkin’ Doughnuts, Subway and a kick butt dollar store that opens at 8am on it.

Staff were quite friendly but perhaps one or two struggled with English a little. 10 minute walk to Subway and the 7 train took us 15 minutes to get to grand central terminal Booked for a Family of 5 - The king room had a nice tidy big bed, tidy and clean sheets serviced everyday and there was a walk in shower. The Two double beds room was just as good. Air conditioned rooms Room windows are sound proof which is good if facing Queens BLVD Sockets were US mostly but there were USB port chargers and one of the lamps on the table had two sockets for 3-pin Irish phone chargers. Breakfast was nice and filling in the morning, eat as much as you like. Coffee/Decaff/ Hot water dispenser. Cold water & Apple & Orange a juice machine. Scrambled eggs one day and Cheese Omelette another day along with turkey bacon and turkey sausage. Bread, butters, jams, bagels, muffins, hot cinnamon roll, yoghurt fridge, fruits, cereals and oatmeal

The two double beds room bathroom unfortunately had a not so great looking bathtub and shower and curtain so it was not as good to use and floor got wet easily. The walk in shower like the king room had was easier to use.

The hotel’s environment was exceptionally well-designed, making it a memorable experience for my first visit to New York City. The staff displayed remarkable friendliness and helpfulness throughout my stay. However, I encountered a minor inconvenience when the shower in my room became clogged. I promptly contacted the front desk, and their prompt and professional response was greatly appreciated. The exceptional service extended to my family’s breakfast, which they thoroughly enjoyed. While I was unable to partake, my family’s satisfaction was evident. Overall, I was so impressed with my stay that I wanted to extend my stay by an additional night.

It is a nice, clean, very comfortable, and quiet hotel. I have stayed there twice, and it will be my go-to.

The train is a bit of a walk away. I usually drive, so it's not a deal breaker, but if you need to take public transportation, it's not as convenient as other hotels.

A lovely hotel situated a bit far from downtown. The train station is about 12.mins walk and then almost an hour ride takes you downtown. Room is equipped with a king size double bed, an office table & chairs, coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, a 2 doors wardrobe, iron and board etc. The bathroom has a spacious shower tray and toiletries. Breakfast spread was good. Gets a bit crowded if all guests come down at the same time. I couldn't find place on the first day but the 2nd and 3rd day was ok. There is also a very nice gym and a paid self laundry room. If not for the location, I would rate this hotel a 10.

Everything was just perfect! The room was very spacious and clean. Towels were changed every day. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. All the staff were really kind and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options (eggs, cereal, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea etc.). The hotel was near supermarket and some of the fast food restaurants. The bus station was near the hotel and the subway station was 10 min away. There was also a shopping mall close to the hotel, 10 min away with the bus. The surrounding area was safe and peaceful.

Very Clean room , front desk receptionists were awesome.

Breakfast was delicious.Ruksana was very pleasant and helpful, she is a keeper 😊 Cafeteria lady attendant with blond bangs wearing gold necklace and hoops was rude and loud, she had an attitude and definitely needs to be retrained or placed in a different area. I didn’t know that she was standing behind me while I was getting some hash brown/baked potatoes I heard her loud voice rudely saying if I am done serving to close the lid !!!! it was not her call or her place to interact with me in that tone … very disrespectful !

Very new, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a decent amount of options. Overall the hotel inside and out seemed very well kept.

I had house keeping clean my room once during my stay, and needless to say I was very disappointed. From a very quick overview of the room after it was "cleaned" it all seemed great. But I noticed that the sheets were never changed, the towels neither. They were all just folded back to normal, but nothing was changed out. They also didn't replace my empty tissue box, and the same dirty towels were just placed back into the cubby. The bedsheets were the same ones I slept in the 2 nights prior.
