Andrea at reception was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Warm welcome and very professional. The room (407) was a decent enough size although the windows were ceiling windows and gave no view. Room was comfortable and warm with an ensure bathroom with shower. Lots of great handwash, shampoo and conditioner as well as tea and coffee. Towel radiator was great and shower was good although it could be more powerful. Great black out blinds on ceiling windows and a quiet room allowing for a relaxed night's sleep. Decent breakfast in the morning and you can help yourself to cereals, teas, coffee etc and even take a coffee to go which is a bonus. Cooked breakfast was a choice of 5 items only but it was perfectly cooked. Great books in room for ideas for things to do and events in Aberdeen. This hotel may not look much-loved but, it's a wee gem and the staff work very hard considering there's not many of them. The wee added touches such as a pad of local maps, events leaflets and the Aberdeen guide books are genius. The location is brilliant. Easy, quick access to Union Square station. Parking... Union Square shopping centre is £18 for 24hrs. Would I stay again... YES

Only 2 pillows on bed, would be nice to have extra available. Towels were clean but had a stain on one of them.

The room didn't have a kettle tried phoning reception no answer went down said they would get one up didn't get one till after 12am when we came back in and had to ask again.breakfast was a disgrace was down on plenty of time all there was toast cereal fruite yoghurt that's not a continental breakfast and the staff had to go out and get sugar for the cereal and tea

After reading mixed reviews I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were lovely. Check in was quick and friendly. Room, bedding and towels were spotless. Location was central which was ideal for our needs. I would definitely come back for another visit.

As mentioned in previous reviews, you can hear what I can only describe as a noise from a generator for electricity and heating? I was worried that I wouldn't get much sleep being a light sleeper, but I was out like a light both nights so this wouldn't stop me coming back.

The room was very spacious and had a lot of storage for any luggage. There were a lot of mirrors which I think is lovely since they are all different sizes, especially the bathroom one, excellent lighting in it. The bed was a good size as well, very comfy and came with numerous pillows so didn't need to ask for more. Reception staff was lovely and helped me navigate to my room since there are a lot of twists and turns.

The room lighting is a bit dim but the wall lights make up for it as they give a bit more brightness

Location, continental brekkie was ample-coffee was lush. Fresh croissants were delicious & I enjoyed the porridge pot (im a runner) & the nice selection of fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast are overrated & I didn’t miss this in the slightest. Portuguese girl who checked me in was so helpful - thank you!

Brekkie area was slightly airy but given the price of utilities it’s understandable. My room however was super cozy so no issues there.

Very local to city centre, had anything you needed in brief walking distance

The power switch which you put your card in to turn power on was notably broken. A member of staff did help by jiggling my card so it worked, but was off again seconds after they left... I figured to put in a second card and it worked a treat.

The hotel is in a great location and very convenient for shopping and going out. A short walk away from the bus/train stations too. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to help me when i needed to change my arrival date at short notice. I was stressed and unwell and they really went out of their way to help. They are a credit to the hotel.

My room was a little cold for me.

Although I booked supreme twin and received a double bed I loved the room so much I kept it. It was huge and I loved the whole feel of the place. Almost had a feel of stepping back in time. Art deco and dark mahogany furniture. Unusual but in a good way.

Key card and using it took a little getting used too.

Very nice decor - loved the star lights in the lounge area, staff really friendly, 24 hour bar, outside seating area, inside lounge seating area, location - between my 2 go to bars on a night out. Will be staying here again!

That I missed breakfast so I didn't get to see what it was like but this was my own fault for having such a great but late night and thinking it was a good idea to mix wine and cider.

Very good location, central to shopping, cinema, theatre. Very nicely decorated although minor maintenance is required ie. Loose tap in room 104, some tears and missing pieces of wallpaper in lobbies.

Not the fault of the hotel but a few undesirable revellers hanging about later at night. Breakfast was lovely tasted but few of the items were cold
