Great Hotel. Could not fault it . Room was very hot on the first night, but we turned down the radiator. The staff were outstanding. The room was spotless. We requested a quiet room with a walk in shower. And that's exactly what we got . The age of the hotel shows in parts, but also makes it very endearing. . Only thing that I could fault was, no instructions on how to use door key and turn on lights . There also was a fridge in our room , running 24/7 with only 2 bottles of water in it. We could have just as easily purchased water at reception , if required. The hotel does not mention the beautiful park across the road, that's a little gem. Aberdeen is a great place for food. And the hotel is central to all locations. We stayed for 5 nights and would go back again. Thank you everyone. 😊

The room was very comfortable. I loved the rainfall shower head in the bathroom! The paid breakfast was delicious and met what I expected. The location was incredible, right in the heart of the city center; no more than ten minutes to plenty of shops, cafes, and museums. All the staff I spoke with were friendly, warm, and generous - definitely makes all the difference for a solo traveler!
Unfortunately, the elevator was not operational during my stay, which meant walking up and down three flights of stairs any time I came and went. While this wasn't much of a concern for me, I can only imagine how difficult this was for guests needing accessible accommodations. Hopefully management will be able to address this accessibility concern soon.

There was a real mix with my stay, we were up for a friends wedding and I was passed a link to book this, I then relaised it was an AllAcore place, when I decided I needed to come up the night before, I messaged the property, was given a really helpful reply from Woronika with a number to call. When i called, the gentleman I spoke couldnt give me a price and said he would call me back, I have Complex PTSD and was anxious about getting this sorted, after waiting until after 6pm I called to advise no one had called me back. The lady was fabulous and sorted everything out. We arrived late after a horrible 4.5 hour drive and had 15 minutes to order food, we manged this and the food was amazing. We also added breakfast, the quality was great but really dissapointed that there felt a need to add green garnash to a buffett breakfast, while this can make some meals more attricative, it doesn with fried eggs and bacon. There was nice pancakes, bread waffles and fruit on offer as well. After the first night, there was further confusion on the room, which again was difficult, but we managed to explain everything again. We were unfortunate to experience a fire alarm on the Thursday monring, I have a disabilty which makes walking difficult so this wasnt ideal as we were told to walk round the back of the hotel, we were adivsed it was ok as it was just the irons being cleaned, Not ideal and by then breakfast was cold, and the offereings already finished. I have to say the reception staff on arrival were fantastic and a credit to the hotel, the food was good ( aside from the strange breakfast garnish) and would reccomend this hotel to anyone in the area. It is in a busy area so if road noise bothers you then maybe the front rooms wouldnt suite but it didnt bother us, we were in the Burns suite and it was fabulousThere was a real mix with my stay, we were up for a friends wedding and I was passed a link to book this, I then relaised it was an AllAcore place, when I decided I ne

Our room was a superior twin it was very spacious very clean and had extremely tall windows overlooking the park , the bathroom was spacious too , and had a large walk in shower . . Breakfast was amazing everything you would want and more .We didn’t eat either lunch or dinner in the hotel but it looked an extensive menu..
We liked everything about it the location was perfect just minutes from everything including the railway station , Marina, museums and Main Street with lots of shops and lovely places to eat ..

Great location, it is right next to the Union Str. which has been very convenient for me. Rooms are very clean. Fresh towels provided almost every day or every other day..Definitely good value for money. Breakfast can be bought separately. It was as good and decent as it can be for the money I paid. I really enjoyed my stay. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Hotel needs a renovation in general but this is not a negative comment. Matrices are too soft which may not be too comfortable if you have back-pain issues.

The location. The breakfast was nice and great selection to choose from, even a menu to order but the buffet needed topped up at times. The bar was also nice and staff very pleasant. The amenities in the room were great and very good check in and check out times. Also parking to the rear.
The staff were very friendly apart from The waitress at breakfast time. We found her to be a bit rude and certainly not as friendly as other members of staff. Also, at breakfast time they ran out of eggs and bacon and we had a long wait for more to be cooked. We ended up not having either due the wait. The same waitress wasn’t very pleasant or helpful when folk were asking. The hotel was nice but is looking a little tired and dated. The windows were only single glazed so we could hear a lot of noise from bars across the way and were steamed up the following morning but on a whole, nice hotel and would stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at Mercure Aberdeen Caledonian Hotel! The room was squeaky clean, the location was superb for getting around the town, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend to friends/family!! ;D
The mattress did slide about quite easily on the bed... would have been nice if it had been more secure, especially when I was sitting up reading my book. Not nearly enough of a problem to impact the stay on the whole, however... there are certainly far worse things I could've had to deal with!

Saff very professional, helpful and friendly. On checking-in, receptionist Lalin was exceptional, a real ambassador for the hotel. Room was nice, clean with a great view of Union Terrace Gardens. The breakfast was great - wide selection, freshly cooked and well presented.
On arrival, the room was quite hot, but not surprising given that it's a traditional granite building with no A/C, and the weather was exceptionally warm. However, a quiet modern fan was provided, which helped greatly.

I had booked online, I booked a “deluxe” room and that is what I got, absolutely stunning! Views to be very jealous of, I had everything I needed in the room, plenty of coffee, tea making bits. Window opened always a bonus a bit of fresh air.
Nothing, However room service, I’ve used two or three times now and the food hasn’t been very warm, and possible not the greatest, good ingredients used, but a bit sad looking, I ate most of what I’d ordered.

I was really impressed with the room size, plenty of storage, nice bath and shower. Breakfast was okay. I did enjoy my stay I would come back for sure. Staff were fab and really friendly. Breakfast staff he was very welcoming and helpful. It was my first time there.. lovely older building.
I only had the cooked breakfast, good quality food but saw the excellent selection of fresh fruit and what looked like home made fluffy pancakes. The black pudding and haggis was really bland which was a shame. Bedside table could of done with a wipe under the glass.
