The hosts were lovely and very welcoming, and very quick to tend to any problems you may have. The room was really nice, and the bed and duvet were so comfy! We had a great night sleep! The breakfast was great, and just what we needed to start the day. We will definitely be staying here again when we next come to Blackpool.

The only slightly negative thing I would say, is that the shower head in the bathroom could maybe do with replacing with a larger shower head, as I struggled to get enough pressure to wash my hair in the morning, took me a bit longer. But overall, it was a great stay!

Brilliant location near to the tram stop and local restaurants of which there are plenty to choose from. Free car parking off-road outside the hotel door. Hotel was warm spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Hosts were brilliant very friendly and couldn’t do enough for their guests. Had a great nights sleep in the comfy bed and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Nice family run hotel and very dog friendly we couldn’t fault a thing. A lift to all floors and a real good feel about the place. Look forward to returning again a nice wee hidden gem, cater for couples families single travellers and dog owners. The staff at the Hesketh really do go the extra mile. The price we paid offered great value for money.

Nothing couldn’t fault a thing

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the owners are lovely, the whole place is decorated really well, a home from home feel. The bed was so comfortable I was tempted to extend my stay. It has a lift which is a god send for anyone like me with mobility problems. Free parking is always a plus in and around Blackpool, unlike 95% of other places in the area, the Hesketh Hotel doesn't rinse the customer. The breakfast was exceptional, in all the places I've stayed around Blackpool, this was the best breakfast, in tact this is the best place I've stayed. It's value, location, decor, staff is spot on, this is a hotel done proper!

Rachael was very welcoming, attentive and co-operative- an ideal host. The room was immaculately clean. Good selection of good quality beverages with kettle. Perfect location only 3 minutes walk to the promenade. Very quiet and peaceful. Good working tv set on the wall at perfect eye level to watch in bed!! Usually, they are either too high or don't rotate to be able to watch comfortably in bed. This was perfect and on a very good swivel stand. Excellent ensuite. Again, it is impeccably clean. Everything in neutral coordinating colours giving it a good feel. Both heater and fan are available in the room for extra comfort. The pillows. Wow! They are so beautifully soft and yet still full enough to give support. They were very useful for me as due to recent surgery I have to sleep semi sitting position at the moment. Thank you, Rachael, for a very restful stay.

The only 2 things which can be improved and the room would be then up to any 5 star hotel standard are: 1. Blackout linings to be added to the current beautifil curtains as the daylight will be a problem in the early summer sunlight.(I wake up at the first sign of light!) 2. The shower head and lack of thermostat control on the shower felt cheap compared to the high standard of the rest of the room. So unfortunately the shower was manual mixer tap and variable pressure so it was either too hot or too cold, sometimes very slow and suddenly bursts of very hot water. A thermostatic shower would make all the difference. Everything else in the room was of very high standard.

We had the friendliest welcome from Annette when we arrived. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our bed was great. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning. Tea and coffee in the rooms with biscuits & hot chocolate. Very dog friendly and close to restaurants, shops and the bus or tram. Very well located. All the staff are lovely. We had everything we needed. We only meant to stay a week while we waited for the purchase of our property to complete and we ended up staying 3 weeks. We were well looked after and we felt like we were leaving family when we left. There is parking in front of the hotel and on street parking. Really close to the beach front. Great value for your money. We will definitely return.

We don't have any complaints. We met a lot of really nice people.

Everything about the hotel bed was sooo comfy . Tea . Coffee. Hot chocolate. Bottle of water . I was in room 10 my only point is the shower im 5'8" and just got in shower . But im sure other rooms would be ok for someone taller. Great stay great friendly service full English with coffee toast orange juice . Plenty of cereals. I actually compared the bed to premier inn bed without premier inn prices fantastic stay thank you Hesketh hotel . They even had a fan in the room brilliant

Shower wasn't great in my room number 10

Great location. Room very comfortable. Owners were LOVELY! They saw I was disabled and immediately offered to carry my bags to my room which was much appreciated. I didn’t make it down to breakfast due to my joint pain and they actually checked in on me to make sure I was okay - as a solo traveller this was SO appreciated, and it’s that personal touch you don’t get at the big chain hotels.

Only thing I can think of was the bin in the bathroom hadn’t been changed since the last guests. But honestly I didn’t care. The price was a bargain so I didn’t even tell the staff. I know if I had of they would have rectified it immediately tho.

Tram Station at the bottom of the toad short walk away so we left the car there and used the tram An all day ticket is very .reasonable Quiet residentiali area so nice and quiet even with a front room.. Very clean Very well equipped with coffee tea nakiing facilities and a little fridge. The host was very welcoming. And chatty. Lovely cooked breakfast. Microwave in corridor if needed Parking outside on property.. But only a short tram ride to all the piers and attractions and town centre .so very handy . If you are looking for somewhere pleasant and not noisy then I highly recommend here..

We were a bit later than expected, but on arrival, we were welcomed at the door by the owner of the hotel, Annette. On filling in arrival details, we were given the key to our room with a private bathroom. The room was bright with a bay window, a comfortable double bed, plenty of storage, and all that was needed for our stay, including tv, a kettle, and towels. Annette had already asked our requirements for breakfast. There were 7 different cereals, croissants, toast, and a full English available as required, along with orange juice, tea, or coffee. Annette, her daughter in law, and other staff were excellent hosts. Along with other guests, we had some very relaxed and enjoyable conversations. We had a great time at Hesketh Hotel. If ever we go back to Blackpool, we know where to stay!

Although we visited Blackpool just after school summer holidays, we were disappointed that it felt like everything had closed down. Our main reason for visiting was to see Blackpool illuminations and that we were able to do thankfully. We used the tram, which ran from Starr gate to Fleetwood, and that gave us a chance to visit shops and cafes. There were a lot of restricted entrances to the beaches from one end to the other, without any apparent good reason. Other than the illuminations, I wouldn't advise anyone to visit Blackpool out of season.

It was very welcoming , clean , comfortable, warm , with brew facilities, excellent breakfast , if you request it Annette will make you porridge even with all the other options! how great is that .

Parking , the hotel has 4 spaces to the front, l did manage to park on the road even though there are a lot of driveways & yellow lines with a white van to the back & a dark car to the front getting very cosy , after l had parked , fortunately l did manage to leave without having to go and look for the owners of said vehicles as van had gone but if not l would have had to look for owners , but hey that’s modern life & yes, l would return even with this little moan .
