Perfect location on the North shore. Just far enough out of town to be in a quieter neighbourhood but close enough to walk into Blackpool centre or to Bispham. Chris and Cris were the perfect hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and things to see and do. They even upgraded our room which was a nice touch. The fantastic breakfast starts the day off perfectly and I would highly recommend staying here. As an aside, if you like Italian food book yourself a table at the Terra Nostra in Bispham. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a stay at The Fossil Tree!

Not much to criticize but you need to be aware that the hotel does not have a lift so be prepared for steps.

Excellent Breakfast. High quality, cooked to perfection. Lovely welcoming hosts into their spotlessly clean home. A very nice touch was the honesty bar. A great selection of wines, spirits beers and lagers. Not forgetting confectionery for those with a sweet tooth. Although we didn't use it on this occasion, when we return with friends I am sure we would spend an evening in the lounge and use the honesty bar. Chris, our host was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and local bus services. This will be our 'go to' hotel in future when visiting Blackpool area.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Fossil Tree for four nights, and we were absolutely blown away! The owners are really lovely people and very knowledgeable RE: the local area and things to do. The room was super comfy and the breakfast was AMAZING. Honestly, I know I've already said that the owners are lovely, but it really deserves a second mention. We felt right at home and immediately welcome. If you're thinking about staying here, do it - you won't have any regrets.

Nothing - if we come to Blackpool again, it's a no-brainer.

Everything ! … From the moment we arrived Chris the owner was so friendly and helpful, he checked us in, showed us around, then carried our luggage up to our rooms for us. The property was spotless, the rooms were lovely and clean with a lovely comfy bed. The Breakfast was gorgeous a lovely HOT fresh cooked ‘clean’ breakfast - no nasty greasy breakfast here - all served by Chris who is a lovely host and is very helpful and knowledgeable on the areas and where to go and what to do. A weekend in a beautiful clean Adult only hotel right across the road from the beach with such a friendly host, you couldn’t ask for a better weekend away. We couldn’t fault our stay all all and before leaving booked for our return stay.

I liked the honesty bar it's a really good idea loved it .I also liked the fact it had parking and didn't have to pay for it .The breakfast was superb the room was very clean and spacious and the hosts were amazing really nice always asked how my day went and the hosts also went above and beyond by sorting out birthday balloons and cake for my friends birthday for when she arrived she loved it thankyou so much

Only thing was it was a little further away from things than we thought if you walk maybe 40 minutes or more to pier however their was tram stop right over the road and that only toke maybe 15_20 mins depending where u stopped so it wasn't too bad. maybe would want it a bit closer to pier walking wise for us however that wouldn't put us off coming again purely in how good the place is and how good the hosts are worth the visit

I booked the Fossil Tree Hotel for my Mum's 80th Birthday trip and she travelled with her best friend. From the moment they arrived until the moment they left they were treated like VIP's. The hotel was immaculate and in a great location, Chris and Christine looked after their every need and ensured that they had a fantastic stay. If you are looking for a hotel in Blackpool then I cannot recommend the Fossil Tree highly enough.

Nothing - the level of service and attention to detail provided was way beyond my expectations. I will be booking the Fossil Tree again for my Mum's next trip.

Very clean throughout the hotel, our room was spotless and comfortable (room 5). Chris the host was very polite and helpful, Chris no 2 in the ln kitchen, breakfast was fantastic very fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay, the hotel is at the north shore area which was away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool, but only a ten minuet ride via the trams. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again

Nothing, this is an excellent hotel we couldn't find any fault with anything. Just wished we'd stayed longer two nights was not enough.

FANTASTIC, EXCELLENT HOTEL. The hotel owners were attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was spotless, with every creature comfort and nicely decorated. There was a great selection of breakfast options even including bucks fizz for breakfast. When mentioning in passing conversation that my husband was waiting for a knee op., we were kindly offered a room on a lower floor to ease any discomfort that my husband might be feeling. Simply put, the hotel was amazing with wonderful hosts.

There wasn't anything to dislike, as the hotel owners had thought of everything that you might need.

This hotel was the perfect venue for us and we will most definitely stay there again next year. The nicest surprise was finding a little tub of Gluten free biscuits in our room on arrival, as my husband is Coeliac. It was very much appreciated and something nobody has ever thought to do before. Also, they have an 'honesty bar' in the lounge downstairs which is a great idea, and again, something I have never seen in a hotel before.

There really wasn't anything to dislike, top notch place to stay.

First of all i like the staf, they were very welcomed, polite, and helpful as well. I like the room it was big and has a nice decoration with large TV. Also, the room was very clean and it had everything you need such as hair dryer and the coffee. I also like the vew in the room it was so cool. I alos like the hotel it is so quiet and clean. I like the location where everything nearby such as beach and downtown. The breakfast was so delicious. I highly recommend this hotel everything was perfect and clean as well.
