Loved the time spent at 242. The owners were lovely. Breakfast was just perfect, loads on offer and great variety. Bed comfortable. The room was very clean, and restocked with tea and coffee daily. The hotel is a little off the beaten track away from the centre. But... The tram stop to everywhere, was right outside the hotel. This includes straight to and from Blackpool North Train station, piers, tower and pleasure beach. Parking available too. Bonus of being away from the centre was also the quiet nights. Lovely for families, like me and my 13 year old son. The road around the corner offered restaurants, take aways and food choices, and also a large Sainsbury's for any necessities. We had a few Chinese meals delivered to the hotel in the evening. The dining area was equipped with plates and cutlery for such instances. Beach literally over the road too. What's not to like?

Clean comfortable room / bed . Tea / coffee making facilities in room . Beautiful cooked breakfast. Sharon was an excellent host . She went above and beyond by showing compassion and care in offering a take our time checkout due to me suffering a medical event. Which was greatly appreciated as I needed the extended hour for my medication to work. Sharon ensured I was feeling ok before I checked out and I was able to check out in my own time. Which was greatly appreciated. I shall definitely return and recommend this hotel and lovely host

Location. And ease of use of trams. We stayed to watch the Blackpool airshows and found it to be so much easier to park outside the hotel and then jump on a tram and back to the shows. The hotel is in a nice area too, with a few bars and lovely restaurants nearby. Much cleaner area than Blackpool itself. Our room was spotlessly clean too with a lovely view of the sea. Our bed was comfy and the tea and coffee facilities were great. Our host, Sharon, waswelcoming, friendly, and helpful. Lovely breakfast included too.

The stairs are a bit steep but that's to be expected in a bed and breakfast in Blackpool.

Breakfast was lovely ,planty of choice .The hosts were extremely welcoming. Location was excellent, with the beach 2 min walk away across the road and a little park too.The tram was also across the road and was every 10mins. Around the corner was plenty of choice for food too. Parking on site but plenty of free parking on nearby roads if needed.

That the walls were very thin. I could hear the next room talking resulting innkeeping me awake and getting woke up early.They wernt being particulary loud ,just general chatting .

The property was lovely and clean and facilitated all 3 of us that went. The property is also located near a tram stop which is convenient as I have a daughter with additional needs! The property is just perfect and it was the second time we had stayed here and it did not disappoint!!

We love everything about this property. We got to Blackpool early and I went in and asked if we could check in and it wasn’t a problem as the room was ready! The hotel is just so convenient, a short walk across the road to stroll along the beach! What more can one ask for!

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. Rooms basic but very clean

The only thing that really bugged me was the fan in the bathroom is VERY noisy so if someone in showering or even just using the bathroom it comes on as soon as you turn the light on and is so loud which was really annoying and woke me up multiple times when the hubby and kids needed the loo as it could be heard very loudly even with the door closed

Lovely little bed and breakfast, perfect for what I needed. We stayed in a family room with 3 adults and 2 children. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and rooms were clean and tidy. I enjoyed the location as it was easy to use the trams to get into the central blackpool area, but otherwise quiet during evenings/nights, perfect for what I wanted

Only suggestion I would make is a few extra hooks to hang towels up in the bathroom/rooms.

This property has to be the best we have booked in/outside Blackpool. From the minute we stepped through the door it was immaculate. The Jay running it could it have been more gracious or helpful. The rooms are like brand new, absolutely spotless as are the toilets. The choices for breakfast in the morning also was such a bonus. Fresh juice, cereal, coffee, tea, fully cooked breakfast- all delicious. We will definitely be booking here again in future, cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is wonderful! Exceptionally clean and tidy. The hosts are really lovely and friendly people and make you feel very welcome. The room we stayed in was lovely and large and the bathroom also. The lighting is brilliant. The breakfast was amazing! Really well cooked and hot. The service was great. The hotel is in a brilliant location near a team stop. A gem of a hotel.
