We arrived well after midnight. The phone number on the door put us through to the friendly night porter who appeared in no time to let us in. The Suitcase Reception Desk was great. The reception area was clean and welcoming, the same goes for our room. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the idea of the radio, local book and hot chocolate. The shower is good but beware of the delayed temperature change. Parking was good at the back of the hotel and there is a fantastic forecourt where you sit for a coffee if you wish. We were only there for one night but would definately stay again for longer.

This is a listed building so there is no lift. We only had a backback so no problem to the 3rd floor. I would recommend that if you have a lot of lugguage or struggle with stairs, that you let the good staff on recpetion know before you arrive, so they may be able to accommodate you on the lower floors or have help available.

The location is excellent in the heart of the town. We used the restaurant on the first night of a 3 day stay, and the food and service was very good, including the breakfasts. The classic double room was up to standard, and had everything you would want for a short stay.

During our stay we were lucky with the weather which was very warm. However the hotel heating pipes running through the bedroom were on full, (Radiator was off) but this added to an already very warm room. so much so, we both slept on top of the quilt. Also, our room was at the back overlooking the car park and the large extractor fans were very noisy running 24hrs a day. In short, sleep quality was poor, but everything else was faultless .

All staff spoken to were really lovely and welcoming. Room a good size - we had pre-booked our dog to be with us and were delighted to see a welcome pack for her with a ball, treats, etc. The hotel itself is lovely and feels oldie but with a modern twist. Parking free - just need a permit to put on the car from Reception. The outdoor seating areas are really lovely - right on the water. Drinks reasonably priced. Having the dog with us meant we couldn't eat in the restaurant but instead in the bar area but that was fine - it is a lovely area. Dog costs £15 extra.

We stayed on an exceptionally hot day of 33c - there was a fan in the room but it was exceptionally hot in the room. We were overcharged on leaving for breakfasts that should have been in the room rate but contacted the hotel and were quickly refunded.

We had a lovely time while away for an event, staff were friendly and very helpful. We had food from the restaurant which was lovely and the breakfast was also nice too. When we arrived we were told there was going to be live music which is an annual event that evening which made our stay even better and we really enjoyed the band.

Just one complaint was that our room was extremely hot, it was a warm day but we realised that the hot water pipes ran through the bedroom on the skirting board which meant we also had constant heat in the room coming from that.

Whenever I stay in Boston, I stay at the White Hart. The White Hart might charge more than B&Bs, in Boston, and other hotels, but the level of service is outstanding. Every member, of the staff, whether its Housekeeping team members, or front of house team members, go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The only issue I have is the location: Boston. Boston is my home town and has gone downhill, over the years. The White Hart is an oasis, which makes my visits to Boston more bearable.

Other than Boston, there was nothing that I didn't like.

The bedroom was comfortable and very quiet... I slept well. Decor was tasteful and relaxing, although a bit shabby in places, as I have commented above. I thought the breakfast was well cooked and delicious. I would suggest that you extend your range of cereals; a lot of people like and expect muesli, for example. Restaurant service was excellent at breakfast. I did not have a chance to use the restaurant for lunch or dinner, unfortunately. The reception staff were also very good, very helpful, friendly and courteous. Every member of your staff I encountered made me feel very welcome.

My bedroom needed a lick of paint... I gather that the hotel is due for redecoration soon. I would prefer, on a subsequent visit, not to have a bedroom on the third floor, as I am elderly and do not like climbing stairs.

We booked the Mayflower Suite which was massive with a bathtub in the room. Really lovely and comfortable. Big walk in wardrobe housing iron and board and separate bathroom from a small vestibule. Lots of free parking. Superb breakfast with lots of choice.

The room was over a passageway which was a bit noisy on an evening. Not a fault of the hotel and there is little they can do about it. Although there were plenty of USB points, plug sockets were minimal and not easy to reach. Disappointing meal in the hotel restaurant.

Wow! This hotel is amazing! Has so much character. The reception desk alone constructed out of antique suitcases was a sight to behold. My room was a standard double but looked like luxury. The bathroom....the bath...the shower and the mirror. I took photos to show in the future a bathroom filter of exactly that when I buy a house. Staff were exemplary and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was top notch. I had a view of the church nearby outside my window. The value for money was excellent.

I cannot fault in any way whatsoever. Highly recommend. Just wish I was staying for a week!

From the moment I checked in the service at the reception desk from the member of staff was welcoming & professional. The room exceeded my expectation for the price, warm, clean, comfortable and a lovely touch with a warm welcome message on the notepad from the housekeeping team. Bathroom in good condition, with everything catered for and I loved the rubber duck in the bathroom....made me smile! Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Perfect overnight stay after a long day at work and works do. Thank you so much, your staff are wonderful. I'll be definitely returning next year.

Nothing! Excellent value for money.

Easy check in, polite staffing on reception, room was very clean and tidy,nice shower could be better as a power shower as water flow was slow. Breakfast room was nice, self service area clean and tidy nice choice, waitress came to us to order cooked food, and tea and coffee, drinks took about 20mins to arrive, Breakfast was really slow over 1hour asked if they had forgotten about us said no,but no explanation way it was so slow. When cooked breakfast arrived it was tasty and well presented Unfortunately with waiting so long spoiled our experience.
