We have big luggage (travelling for a while!) so requested a low floor and we got the lower level with only a few stairs :) kettle, mugs, wine glasses! We parked down the street next to the park for one night for about 12€. You can also use the park and ride (summer) at withdean leisure complex but it doesn’t make much of a difference price wise after you pay for parking and then the bus in and out of town to get back to your car. Depending how long you’re parked though!

The room was really cluttered with heaps of nick nacks, 4 chairs, multiple tables. If there was less furniture it would be much more spacious. Not a deal breaker obviously, more feedback for the hotel :) Small bathroom and shower

An absolutely lovely little place! When I had booked I had booked a shared bathroom, but we had been given one of the basement rooms with an en suite and our own exit which was absolutely lovely as we intended on staying out late and we could use that door without disturbing any other people staying! The owner was wonderful, such a sweet person and made us feel very welcome! The location of the property was ideal as well as we were attending a friends birthday party not too far away, so if we did get drunk at all we didn’t have far to walk

Honestly my only negative would be that you could hear people walking around on the above floors, but I wouldn’t say it was the worst thing and completely understandable!

The rooms was amazing! So much space and even a little garden area accessed by some french doors. There was even some water bottles in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. For what we paid to stay here, we were so impressed by the accommodation!

The kitchen was quite messy, with lots of crockery and cutlery on the side, leaving very little room to use. Some extra storage in the little kitchen would solve this. There was no signal downstairs, so we couldn't keep in contact with friends we were going to meet. The wifi connection was too weak in the room so couldn't connect to the internet at all.

Baxter the receptionist was incredibly friendly & helpful . The room was COMPACT as per the ad but functional , I slept like a log , good hot water when need ... kettle , tea facilities ... Towels a decent size ! I'm a big lad. Parked in nearby Freshfield Rd full day.

On entry I was genuinely Uh Oh but past the slightly jaded decor this was as good a value stay as I've ever had for £43. Proper double bed ... I slept well . Quiet area all things considered.

The size of the room I was in was small but it was amazingly well equipped for the size. Everything that you could expect in a room like this was in some nook or corner - towels, tea, coffee, kettle, iron - you name it. The location is great. I could walk everywhere I wanted to be in the centre. The owner/caretaker was considerate and caring. She is half the reason I'd consider returning.

It's one of those properties with stairs to climb - just something to be aware of, if you have luggage.

Great location and nice bedroom. Overall a handy place to stay. Lady who checked me in was super nice.

Just a note not really a big thing Staff called down the corridor at my boyfriend as he was leaving, asking whether he was checking out (we were, I was behind with the key and would be doing the checking out) and when he said yes the man quite bluntly called to bring the key, I was still coming down the stairs and was going to give the key. It just seemed a bit unnecessary and rude to be shouting down the corridor at guests.

The hospitality was truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. Their warm attitude made all the difference.

There was nothing significant I didn’t like. Everything was well taken care of and met my expectations.

This was a bit like staying at a mate's house. Funky posters on the wall, comfy furniture, groovy wallpaper. The lady who welcomed me noted my height and gave me a bigger room, which was sweet. And she was kind enough to let me into my room when I locked myself out at 23.00! So sorry about that!!!

It's a simple, inexpensive place in central Brighton, so not The Ritz, but comfy and friendly.

Really good location, right next to the beach and only a 10min walk from the centre of Brighton. The owner was super nice and welcoming. The room was a decent size with good facilities; the bed was so comfy and the shower was too! Also the fan the owner put in our room was possibly the best fan I’ve ever experienced- a life saver in the heat. A really good value hotel for less than £70 for a night when everywhere else in Brighton was mental priced. Thank you!

The accommodation was very quirky. They were accommodating in ensuring had a ground floor for my mobility issues had front room number 3 and even though on street it was lovely and quiet. Bed was comfy tea and coffee facilities provided.

As a wheelchair user it was on a hill with no parking available to unload. As a blue badge holder was able to pull up on yellow lines unload and go and park the car.
