Perfect location, easy to get to and easy to find, the staff were amazingly helpful, rooms were clean and tidy with plenty of complimentary teas, coffees, sugars and milks which I find amazing as most other places only give one or two.

There was no extractor fan or light inside the shower cubical, which meant the steam from the shower was in the room and making things damp even with the windows open, and it was hard to see what you were doing even with the main room light on, a simple, small spotlight in the cubical would have been great!

The property was clean and inviting with a great location.

The fact the room we had was 3-4 flights up and the misunderstanding of the initial booking from the advertisement. It wasn’t clear that the family room was one room as the way the photos were layed out it gave the impression the family room was two rooms a joined. Which meant a further payment for another room was needed for myself and my partner as out other family were disabled and needed the room on the level .

Location is fabulous, right next to the seaside and a short walk away from the coach station. Room was clean and considering the price, more spacious than I expected. Heating worked well, once turned on the room became nice and toasty. Staff were accommodating as well. The room more or less looks how it’s presented in pictures.

Thin walls but didn’t affect us so much as we were out all day and quiet hours begin from 11pm. Bathroom is a bit cramped but shower pressure was really good.

Location was excellent very walkable to all amenities in Brighton didn't have to get a taxi anywhere which we really liked. 5 min walk to the beach especially was great. We were part of a large group and the quadruple rooms really suited us.

A few of the fixtures and fittings could do with some upkeep. We had to lift the lid of our toilet and manually flush it. Nothing major though

Everything was great – from the staff to the cleanliness. The location is perfect, right next to the beach. The only small downside was that the room was extremely hot. But aside from that, everything was wonderful!

In the room was extremely hot, no air-conditioning.

the room smelled like cigarette smoke that had tried to be covered up with cleaning products. we tried to open the windows during the day but the cold and the street noise in the evening made this more difficult. there's a large sign on the back of the door indicating it's a no smoking room; perhaps because it was on the top floor, it was easier for staff not to notice.

Very clean and that someone is at reception 24 hours, making the check-in much more comfortable and easy. Also feeling more secure. There is shampoo and conditioner available.

The shower head is not that great, but not a big problem for my needs. Would be nice, if there was also other teas available, than only black tea. A bit thicker pillow or a couple more. With the latter two handled, it would be excellent!

We had breakfast at two friendly restaurants one was the breakfast club and the other was jb diners and both were delicious couldn't fault either. My hotel was clean and the staff were both friendly and welcoming we both enjoyed the location as there was so much to see and do around where we was staying 😊 we will both be coming back to Brighton and staying in at strawberry fields as we enjoyed the friendly hotel 😊

Nothing as couldn't fault anything about the hotel as there was always someone at the reception for help and we had our room cleaned everyday with fresh towels if we needed them. The view from our window looked out to the sea which was lovely to look at 😊

The location is about a 2 minute walk from the beach front, a little walk from the pier, and in the opposite direction a quick walk to the high street where all of the shops and restaurants are. Bus stop is 2 minutes walk away. The location is quiet with a quiet road. The reception team are friendly, attentive and helpful. Room heating was warm. Check in was easy. Wi-Fi is good. I liked the attention to detail with the coffee station that had milk and a biscuit.

No cupboards or shelves to unpack clothes.

not double glazed windows so can really hear drunken idiots out on the streets and the birds tweeting like crazy in the morning.
