Easy to find location Helpful gentleman ( Mike)at the reception desk- helped carry our bags to our room upon arrival and helped set up Wi-Fi. He was very helpful throughout our whole stay and very polite. Was close to the event we were attending. Our room was upgraded on arrival. We were allowed to check in early.

Pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Lighting in the room was very dim. It was very difficult to see to apply our make up. There was no fan in the room and none were available upon request unfortunately. There was no hairdryer however we were given one at reception when we asked. The guests in the room next door were very loud and constantly swearing.

This place was a second choice having read through reviews of pur first choice and deciding against that one. This place was clean, pleasant, lovely chap on the front desk, great view from the room and nice and quiet. The room with ensuite was clean and comfy (especially the beds). I liked the old sash windows looking out to the sea. It was basic but that's what we wanted for just one night. Charming older building in a really great location; walking distance to The Lanes, pubs, restaurants, pier and beach. Really good value.

There wasn't anything I didn't like personally but I'm a fit person with no additional needs. There are a lot of stairs. The building kind of slopes a little bit. Not so much that it's a problem (I quite like it) but could feel weird to some. No lift (also not a prob for me or my party).

Price. Very cheap. Got it off booking.com for very cheap price

Had to park 20 minutes away to find a space. Room was very small. I got it cheap off booking.com but if went to the website and paid double the price for that small room. Wouldn't have been happy. Should have info on rooms/bed sizes when you book

Friendliness, helpfulness of the owner and staff. Accessibility of hotel via public transport and of town centre and railway station. Security is also excellent. On my next trip to Brighton, I plan to stay at the Ambassador.

I cannot make a single negative observation on the Ambassador Hotel.

Has to be the best location in Brighton for the beach and city centre. Lovely, spacious room. Very clean and comfortable. Amazing value for money. The hotel staff were very friendly and making sure we had everything we needed. Always smiling and making us feel good.

Expected to have to share a bed with my son and there were two beds. En suite. About 30 seconds away from the sea. Friendly proprietor. £99 for a Saturday, at little notice, 30 seconds away from the sea was good value. Much cheaper than the Travelodge and Premier Inn.

Our room had a garden. Very useful to us. Staff very friendly and helpful. Check out time was a 11am. So we had plenty of time to get breakfast in the morning. We where on the bottom floor. Didn't ear and noise disturbances eventhough the town was lively with festivals.

Some handles on furniture were broke and the beds were old and showing wear and tear. The room was very hot even with the windows open. The shower doesn't have a curtain.

Great location, clean, lovely view of sea from our room and super to look over the gardens with Agapanthus, staff friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

My only complaint was kettle didn’t work but that’s only a minor thing!

The location was excellent for us and the staff or owner (not sure) was super friendly and helpful. Also location was close to the beach and the city centre. Pubs and restaurants close by but not too close that you were disturbed by noises.

No Breakfast was provided The location was very good, over looking a quiet public garden and near to the beach and Palace Pier.

Bed wasn't very supportive for me. Would have liked some meals provided.
