I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Charm Brighton hotel and I must say it exceeded all of my expectations and my friends as well. Nestled right by the sea, the hotel offers breathtaking views that are both calming and invigorating. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with a blend of modern comforts and coastal charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the amenities provided were top-notch. Great breakfast as well. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect.

Lovely hotel. Our room was extremely spacious and light with one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in. Room and bathroom were spotless. It was my partners birthday and we arrived to the room with balloons on the bed and a nice birthday card which was a lovely touch. Adam and the rest of the reception team were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was incredible too! Would thoroughly recommend staying at The Charm for a trip to Brighton.

Location, cleanliness

The Charm is conveniently located. It’s in a lovely building. The room is nicely fitted out with a comfortable bed and quality linen. It was very clean. Staff were professional and friendly.

Unfortunately you can hear all the noises from other guests. We were in the basement level and got all the drainage noises as well as the above guests movements and conversations at 1am—they were different guests each night (we stayed 2nights). We also got noise from people passing by at street level. I guess it’s the nature of old buildings but this was not an inexpensive option.

The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable and with the blackout curtains we slept like babies. The staff were the absolute best. Friendly, always smiling, helpful and very accommodating. They went above and beyond from day one. The team at The Charm are absolute 10 out of 10. Was dreading the Parking in Brighton, but the receptionist was so helpful pointing out the nearest places to park. We also came early and the staff made sure that our room was ready for us even before the standard check in time at no extra cost. The entire hotel is beautifully furnished and clean too. Will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Brighton.

The room was beautiful, with good facilities. Loved the addition of the vanity mirror that was handy. The staff were absolutely lovely from start to finish, and left us a very special birthday welcome which was so appreciated. Really comfy beds as well, and the AC meant there was no issue with the room being too hot in high summer. My expectations were definitely exceeded. Attentive night staff too, who reacted very promptly when we requested some more cups. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we are vegan and we’re not sure the options at time of booking, but had we, I’m pretty sure the staff would have gone out of their way to accommodate us.

The hot tap ran very very hot! And so one had to be quite careful when using it. Other than that all good. A little noise from the street but when coming to centre of Brighton that is to be expected!

It was a beautiful building with a lot of the old features. Well decorated and clean. The breakfast area, reception and rooms were lovely. The breakfast was excellent value too. The staff were so helpful, keeping our bags for us till check-in so we could explore Brighton and letting us check in early and taking bags to room. Location was perfect and the price was excellent.

It was mentioned everywhere and our choice to book but being on top floor was an absolute killer! The bed was a small double so my husband and I literally had to turn over on the spot. The air-con had a very loud hum that was quite difficult to sleep over.

We had a partial sea view, which made it even more special to wake up to. Breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, generous, and with something for everyone. The made-to-order options were delicious, and the coffee machine was definitely put to good use! The location was ideal—quiet enough to relax, but just a short stroll from the beach, the Lanes, and all the shops and restaurants. We also made time to enjoy the spa, which felt like such a treat. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a day out, and the whole space felt very calming and well-kept. It’s a rare find to have somewhere so stylish yet so personal and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
