Really comfy bed, shower was warm and powerful, cleaning team had done their best with a fairly aging building and I really appreciated the nice clean towels, bed and bathroom.

I can't really blame the hostel for this, but some of the other patrons were problematic loudly fighting in the hallway as I arrived, and some smoking something that wasn't tobacco on the doorstep at times but it's Brighton. Needs better security but the place is perfectly fine for any single travellers on a budget. Lighting was a bit hospital like for my tastes so they could do with a bedside lamp with yellow bulbs to warm up the mood.

For the money paid, it was exceptional. Tatty carpets etc, but who cares about that for the price. Lovely touches like a chocolate bar, toiletries and water. I hadn't read all myemails which side how to check.in as there is no reception but I was helped. A very kind and generous person must be behind the scenes for it to be so good, as I paid peanuts.

Sharing a bathroom but I knew that when I booked and it wasn't a problem as the showers and toilets are separate.

Great staff, really comfortable. Exactly where I needed to be in the city and I was yards away from any supermarket or 5 mins from city centre. Got locked out my room and staff sorted it within minutes. Great stop over

Only thing I can fault is no batteries for the TV remote

The room was extremely high quality. The bed, tv, seat, desk, storage and shower was all really good. The service was brilliant and I was never left without anything. I asked to top up water and have ee sheets and they were delivered swiftly

The absolute independence was bliss, the room was spacious and clean. I had the best sleep in months Once i understood how to get in (WhatsApp message) haha

To not being more clearly indicated how to check in But i was really exhausted

The pictures on the site and the reality of the location was great. The location is amazing, close to the beach and close to a Main Street. I’m definitely coming back! The room was clean. Billy was amazing he came to our rescue when we locked our key inside our room.

The check in door lock (second door at main entrance was broken we just pushed it and we were in we never used toe code). Parts of the floor were creaky and can be fixed (health hazard). There should be a mat in the bathroom (one can slide easily). Having extra blankets stored in the room. The tv didn’t work after 10pm on all local channels. Having a heater would be nice.

Very clean and comfy bed very helpful staff member helped me check in very satisfied with the room and good value for a bank holiday .This hotel was much better than I expected and had a great stay

It’s very clean & presentable, ground staff are always on hand 24:7 via phone if needed, it’s a welcoming family hotel & one I use in a regular basis.

I liked how we had a kettle, shower and built ins with lots of storage. great views of the memorial outside and 2 min walk to beach front and Sea Life and the pier! amazing!

that no one came around to clean the mugs and refill coffee/tea so we had dirty cups all week.

Location was great, self check in and check out was extremely appreciated- and customer service call to check our room was okay was thoughtful
