I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Cavalaire Guest House in Brighton and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment you enter the vibrant yellow painted building, an uplifting and artistic atmosphere welcome you. The hotel is filled with beautiful and colorful art pieces, creating an uplifting and artistic atmosphere. The interior design is on point, artistically stylish with a great eye for detail. Its location is perfect – just a short stroll from both the city center and the beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything Brighton has to offer. The room I stayed in was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable – the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I loved the colourful details as well as the wide range of tea bags and snacks available. But what truly sets this place apart, are the wonderful owners. They are genuinely kind and caring, always making sure their guests feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but I know for certain that I'll be coming back. This hotel is a true gem in Brighton! The location in Kemp town is very good , Close to the Beach, shops, Restaurants. The Guest house is slightly up hill but not a problem for us. The room had every thing we needed and more. It had a fridge, safe, Tissues plus in one of the drawers it had a mini sewing kit with a pen and paper. There is plenty of choice of tea , coffee and also bottled water. In the hallway there is plenty of extra tea, coffee , milk and water. We stayed for three nights and each morning had a different breakfast. Each breakfast was cooked to perfection and the presentation was perfect. Vesna and Jamal are the perfect Hosts

The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak and kept dropping out. A couple of times, there was no water coming from the hot-water tap. I messaged the property owner to ask for an estimated time to fix the problem. Instead of giving an ETA, they replied that their staff had reported no issue. Eventually, however, the problem was resolved.

I liked everything really. That's why I gave 10 for everything. The Lady that was running the place was very nice. Buses outside your door to the station or beach and town. The Bed was very comfortable for me anyway. It was fairly easy to get your booking approved for Key Numbers to get in.

No there was nothing I didn't like. No place you book anywhere is going to be 100 percent perfect. For me I was happy with this place, For one guy.

Gr8 location and great communication with the keyholder via email etc. Quirky little place, full of character and would recommend. Only thing is would not be suitable for elderly people with mobility issues but for younger more agile people it is a fantastic base with a 15 minute walk to almost all points of the inner city plus the beach is literally on the doorstep ( well a 2 minute walk downhill)

Nothing is too much trouble and every possible need is happily catered for. The breakfasts are superb and everything (food and decor) is so beautifully presented and curated. We were a multigenerational family with ages from 24 to 93 and everyone loved this place. My elderly, fragile parents were especially considered and although there were some stairs to climb (we knew this when we booked) they loved their cosy, spotlessly clean and spacious room and the friendliness and kindness of the owners.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cavalaire, the hosts were so lovely, the room was cosy and the vegan breakfasts were delicious. The building had beautiful artwork and the shower was one of the best we have experienced so far (usually temperature and power/pressure have been regular issues in other places we have stayed at)

The bathroom was a little snug for my liking,but I would be happy to upgrade to a larger room next time. There is nothing at fault with the bathroom, just personal preference.

This guest house was beautiful. Great location being only a few minutes down to the front and 10 minutes to the Lanes. We stayed here for Brighton Marathon and it was great for the start and finish with a good walking warm up. The decor was lovely, lots of art and colour. Loved it. The room we had was great. It had everything we needed like a fridge, which is so handy to keep drinks cool. There were also ample good quality tea and coffee sachets and a fresh bottle of water every day. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really powerful and a tonic after a long run. The room was very clean as well. Perhaps the best thing was the breakfast which was beautifully presented and tasty. The usual English breakfast was there but not greasy. One morning, I had smoked salmon, avocado and scrambled eggs with toasted homemade bread, the next I had vegetarian classic breakfast. Both very tasty. Other options were equally delicious and healthy and everything came with fresh fruit. Really good value. When we come to Brighton again, I don't think we'd stay anywhere else. The owners were very friendly but also relaxing and calming people.

Great location in Brighton. The Cavalaire is an artist's paradise. Anyone who stays here, please appreciate all the art on the walls as most will be from your host. The rooms are all decorated to the highest standard, with sublime little touches to make you feel at home. The hosts are very friendly and could not be any more helpful. Plenty to choose from for breakfast should you wish to have. There are 2 floors per room, we were lucky enough to have the top top floor. Definitely happy to return, the next time I'm in Brighton.
