Perfect location for what was needed, really nice friendly front of house when I arrived 😊
Not anything to do with the people, I should have looked into the property more ( my bad ), I was on the top floor which was a bit of a mission ( little legs ) and also it was so hot this weekend, so I didn't get a lot of sleep the first night as it was very stuffy, but after a little look in the cupboard the next day and I found a lovely fan which was provided, I was very grateful 😊 great places to visit around though and the locals were lovely. I would stay again but would ask for a lower floor ☺️

Lovely townhouse in a fantastic area! Easy check in, got sent check in details via text message, thank you 😊 Comfy bed and a good size room over looking the street (quiet street in most) PerFect for a 2 night stay. We slept well. There was great communication from the staff and we would stay again next we visit Brighton.
There were only a couple of small niggles, the bathroom door was stuck, so when you opened ut, it made a loud noise plus the shower tiles could do with some mould cleaner. Otherwise it was a comfortable room.

Paskins Town House and the staff were very friendly, efficient, flexible and accommodating. I was even able to park very close by initially and on the second day of my stay right outside the door! The location is good and I was able to walk to town, mostly via the beach!
The boarded floors in the common areas meant people coming in late at night meant that I was awakened by loud footsteps on the stairs and landings. To be honest, I had thought I was booking a B&B rather than lodgings only. Fortunately the staff were very helpful in pointing me to nearby cafes for breakfast and tea/coffee were provided in my room.

We have a room at the top of the hotel which was super quiet. Lots of fresh sea air as you can open the old style sash windows. Location is away from the main area of Brighton however it has own vibe of great cafes, pubs and plenty of life. I prefer this end of town to Brighton area. This is always my go to hotel in Brighton. Good value for money and a secure hotel if travelling alone.
The beds did not have any mattress protectors on just a single sheet. I used the spare blankets available as a mattress protector under the sheets which made tv bed more comfortable. There are no additional luxury items like shampoo, soap or conditioner. You can buy whatever you need at Budgens Supermarket 2mins away instead.

Beautifully done, quirky room. Good space. Perfectly kitted out: tea, coffee, (and most importantly) fruit/herbal tea, biscuits, bottled water, soap, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, iron and ironing board! Super close to the beach. Friendly staff. Hotel itself was quiet.
The parking situation isn’t great, but the knowledge of the staff getting you parked up was brilliant and so helpful. The pillows were a little hard (but that’s just a personal opinion). The seagulls in the morning were very loud. Nothing that can be done about them but maybe consider putting little packets of ear plugs in the rooms.

When we told staff about the shower at checkout, they were responsive and assured us it would be looked at. The location is super central and just a very short walk from bars, cafés, the beach and the centre including 'The Lanes'. Staff (owner) at checking were friendly and helpful. LGBTQ+ friendly Very reasonably priced, especially given location. Loved the decorative style. Able to park on road outside building.
Beware if your stay is on the top floor, the last set of stairs is a killer. The shower in our room (10) was just a dribble but we didn't get a chance to mention it during our stay. The windows in the room didn't open properly so it was very hot. Parking is very expensive.

We did not really have to interact with the staff much, but when booking and requesting late check-in they were able to accommodate this happily. The instructions they left were clear, and everything worked. It's always a bit of a fright when having to check-in after the desk staff has gone home, but everything ran very smoothly. It was also cute. It's in a very old building so it looked a bit out of a different era, but in a good way.
The only real complaint I had was the water pressure in the shower was quite low. This is a feature of some older houses in the UK generally so I am sure they have received this feedback before, and not certain that there is anything that can really be done about it. But yeah, it was not ideal but we made do with it with a bit of extra time & patience when showering.

This is a lovely, old-fashioned seaside hotel. I booked a room for one night on my own and the room whilst small, was comfortable and everything expected was provided. I had a pleasant welcome on arrival and my luggage was stored until check-in time at which point it was delivered to my room. The bed was comfy with ample pillow. There was some hanging storage space and tea and coffee making facilities, with a generous supply of beverages and some biscuits which was a nice touch. The bathroom was compact, but clean and the shower was fine. This represents excellent value for money.
The location was a little further out of the centre of Brighton than I had expected and about 20 minutes walk from the station. The #12 bus runs from the station to very close to the hotel and that might be a good option for some guests.

We had a very nice and friendly welcome, recommendations as to where to go and where discounts could be had in local cafes and restaurants. Access was easy via door code and it's a two minute walk down to the sea front.
It would have been nice to have a teaspoon for our tea! And the water pressure in the shower is very low so it takes quite a while to get wet! One night other guests were quite noisy when coming back in late at night.

Fantastic room, well placed for easy access to and from the coach station. Frequent buses all around, including to and from the train station. The hosts were fantastic and were able to accommodate a few requests, including a luggage hold. Room was quiet and full of natural light, including a sink in the room.
The sink was weak, and didn't have any cold water, but we were on the very top floor. Pressure in the shower is non existent, but is fine for a short stay. Room got very hot during the day.
