Downstairs were quiet and clean, very nice, bedroom was pretty small but adequate with what I paid. Everyone there seemed friendly and relaxed, that was nice, location was pretty cool too.

There wasn't really anything i disliked.There were a few things I didn’t love. Obviously, the room wasn't big, so most things were a little more tricky to do. On a personal level, I don't like white sheets, I didn't like the bed sheets at all.They're not horrible, but they're not what I'd prefer. Only other thing really is, I've never been to Brighton before, so I'm not sure if its a common theme, but it was pretty nosey at night, even at 1am or 2am, I could still hear a fair bit noise, however I did still sleep, average amount of sleep, not great but not bad neither.

Red Brighton Blue was very clean & had everything I needed for my solo stay, also, it was right by the seafront & a 10-15 minute walk to the main centre. My room was bright & airy, with a very comfortable bed & the bathroom was clean & well equipped with toiletries. The proprietors Steve & Pete were very welcoming & helpful, the housekeeping staff were friendly too.

Parking was the only issue for me, as the hotel is in the Controlled Parking Zone - although a parking permit is available to purchase from the hotel at £12 per 24hrs, that wasn’t ideal for my week-long stay. Thankfully Steve & Pete were able to recommend where to park for free.

Red Brighton Blue is a lovely small hotel with a style all its own. Situated perfectly! A small walk to the center of things but just enough off the town to give you some quiet. I particularly liked the warmth of the owners. One even recognized me outside of the hotel and said hello. Where else does that happen? The room was small, but well thought out and a good value for such a busy weekend in town. It was kept clean, and well stocked. I also needed to work a bit, and found the quiet I needed just right. Thanks for a beautiful stay. You would be lucky to book a room here!

Owner waiting when I arrived (had given arrival time before). Quick check-in. Very well maintained accommodation. Clean throughout. Nice size room with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates and water bottles in room. Alexa in room was a nice touch. Hot shower with good pressure. Short walk to main city centre. Few minutes walk to beach and view of sea when you come out of the guest house. Informed of discounts at local cafes if staying at RBB (although didn't end up using). Plenty of cafes, bakeries and supermarkets within close walking distance of RBB.

Noise from room upstairs on second night which sounded like guests walking very loudly on floor (I am a light sleeper).

Everything. I stayed here previously in July in a single room then ordered a double this time. I arrived late due to train cancellations, and as soon as I arrived I was warmly welcomed by Steve and ended up being upgraded to a king room which was so nice after the long travelling journey. This was a beautiful room with a nice big bed, big shower, big tv, light up mirror in bathroom, makeup mirror, tea and coffee facilities with snacks and a really nice table and chairs by the window Such a nice room On top of this, Steve also carried my bag for me up the stairs (which was a very heavy bag 😭) which I really appreciated and on the way down when Peter saw me carrying my bag down he carried it down the rest of the stairs for me. I also had sweet, and insightful conversations with both owners and overall it was a very welcoming energy as the conversation with Peter was just before I ended my stay and it left me in a very positive uplifted mood. Since staying last year this is one of my favourite hotels to stay at in Brighton And I definitely you booking (Also bc I stayed in winter it was a bit colder, and because I’m used to sleeping with an extra blanket, I used the extra blanket they keep in the wardrobe which was a really nice addition to the stay ❤️ Also BIG plus, I was at the front of the house and had such a nice view of the colourful houses in front and the sea front down the road 😩 it was so nice on my final day because the sun was shining and the sea was glistening

Greeted by a incredibly friendly co-owner upon entry. Was given lovely guidance on the best local places in Brighton, as well as his personal favourites. Locations is fantastic - short walk to the city Centre and the lanes, the waterfront is 30 seconds away and everything you would need for a city stay is right there. Very clean, very well kept and a very, very lovely city mini-hotel.

The room itself is a little small but we expected that. Also incredibly warm but that’s not the room’s fault - they supplied a fan to help cool us down. No option for breakfast but there are plenty of local cafes around so again, not an issue for us.

An absolutely lovely hotel stay. The hotel owner was extremely welcoming and helped us with our bags, and the parking vouchers were extremely helpful for us. The hotel itself was lovely - extremely clean, the bedsheets were very soft and the bed was comfortable. They provided both pod coffee and instant coffee (& tea!). The location was excellent as well, with a short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The bedroom had a ceiling fan and large window - it was brilliant! I would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Brighton to stay here.

Tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Steve and Pete are very welcoming hosts with lots of great suggestions on what to do in Brighton. We were on the top floor in a spacious room with plenty of natural light. It’s very close to the beachfront and within walking distance to the touristy places. Buses are very regular to and from the train station. Pete recommended a lovely Persian cafe called Kooshk two minutes walk away for breakfast and it was so good! They give 10% off if you tell them you’re staying at Red Brighton Blue!

We enjoyed an exceptional stay at this lovely property. The rooms are well appointed, plus there is a common area and small pocket garden for guests. The location is convenient to the sea, shopping and activities. Steve and Peter were such gracious and helpful hosts. We really appreciate their insights on where to eat and what to do in Brighton. All the little touches, such as bedside charging docks for our phones, complimentary coffee, water and snacks, mini fridge, a nightlight in the bathroom and a large makeup mirror contributed to our comfort during our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

This was my second time here and the place is fantastic for solo travellers. The location is mainly quiet, the hosts are very hospitable, and the room is great. Bus stops are at both ends of the road and the city centre is a short 20ish minute walk away. Lovely local restaurants nearby too. Kettles, tea/coffee, safe, (etc) are provided so you have everything you need. Once you understand how to use the Alexa, it's an even better room to relax in during the evenings. The room was clean and had cleaning provided (if wanted).
