Abi is quick to respond and helpful. I was given a ground floor room when requested, although 2 days later. Rooms are quiet and soundproof. Rooms are well fitted with plug points. The shower is warm and comfortable. Breakfast is good for the price.

Temperature control in the room is off. It cant be controlled from the room, so one day it was cold and other days too hot. There is no lift, so if you have too much luggage, it is very tough to go to the higher floors. There can be more lights in the room, which will be helpful for older people and those with poor eyesight. Storage space is less for people who need to stay for a long time.

We spent 3 nights in this Bed and Breakfast place. It was best value lodging and around 20-25 min walk into old town historic center. There is no private parking, and we needed to make sure that we didn’t park in a resident with permit required. Although it is on a busy street, our room was quiet and comfortable. It is a self-checkin process where we were given an entry code to the apartment and a separate code to our room. The room was small though it has a little “hall” that had a table that has coffee maker with instant coffee and teas. The breakfast area has a nice, comfortable lounge. It has a refrigerator where we can put our food & drinks. The complimentary breakfast is continental style with pastries, fruits, yogurts, bread, & condiments. The best part of breakfast is the cappuccino maker. I am prediabetic and it would have been good to have either cold meats or hard boiled eggs for breakfast. The staff and the owner were friendly. The facilities were clean and the front yard was well kept. It is walking distance to restaurants and a pub. There is also a gas station nearby though we didn’t need to go. Overall, we enjoyed our first time staying in Cardiff and recommend this place.

The bed and the house maid Marta. Marta was so lovely; smiling, polite and, helpful. Also, she was tidying the breakfast area so efficiently. She kept asking if I needed anything else.

The hosts; Abi and Charlie, a male voice, was very very unaccomodating. He was rude and abrupt. He said I should leave and go somewhere else, just because I politely asked him for a little later check- out time, due to health issues. I have fybromyalgia and sleep apnea, so I am very achy, stiff and tired in the mornings. I said that I will not be able to sleep at all with the additional stress of a so early check out. He said no for no reason. Upon asking why he said it is down to his discretion. I found out from the AI; Grock they use for the place that customers can pay £10 to stay an extra hour. I wonder why he behaved like this. It ruined my trip.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was completely automated -very easy to follow instructions that were emailed to us before our arrival. Public spaces were super clean and welcoming. The reserved room was lovely, well-equipped, and spotless. There was even a fan for air movement - perfect! There was ample room for 3 adults to comfortably spread out. We were able to walk to and from city attractions in the downtown area. Some areas along the walk were a little less comfortable to traverse on foot at midnight, but we did not have any issues. There was a city bus running along the walking route, but we did not try that option. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant stay.

The parking situation (street parking on the block around the property) was a little concerning and difficult when we arrived during a workday. The next day, we left town for a day trip, and when we returned on a Saturday afternoon, there were plenty of spaces available. I thought I had reserved the breakfast option, but sadly, I had not. So I cannot speak to the quality of the coffee.

Good location, easy to walk into town. Gaining access to property easy, excellent info pack provided. Very clean and organised . Quick , helpful responses to questions on WhatsApp from Abbi the owner. Katie, the housekeeper, was lovely, very helpful . Well presented and attractive property. Use of fridge ,microwave , and glasses for residents. Heated towel rack in bathroom.

I liked the fact that all was automated. Easy to check in but they made a mistake in the room assignment and they made it seem like we were the ones that were wrong and not following the instructions sent. When that was not the case, house keeping was there and helped us out. For me it was to automated, no interactions with the owner. Breakfast limited compared to other B&B’s we have stayed at.

The apartment has an excellent location in a very quiet neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is new, and the room is spacious. The breakfast room is lovely, with romantic music, a terrace, and comfortable sofas. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, towels, and other essentials.

Location is good. Communication and instructions from owners was good. Exceptionally clean and tidy and modern decor. Our room was at the back and was lovely and quiet. Nice dining room and good breakfast selection. The fridge being open for guest use is very good. Also a microwave oven if we wanted to heat something up in the evening.

We didn’t meet the owners and only had minimal interaction with the cleaning staff.

I stayed for 10 days at this place. It was very comfortable and homely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious enough for 2 people. Towels and sheets were clean. For the price, breakfast is great!

Heating is not in your control so it gets uncomfortable at times. The motion sensor connected light in the dining area is a bummer! Switches off every few mins unless you keep moving constantly.

Easy to find, checking in/out was very smooth was impressed by the technology used to check in and out quick and simple. Extremely clean - great facilities perfect for short stay. Staff were great and gave fresh towels daily and made bed. All use of Netflix, Amazon and Disney already being pre logged in really helped as did have to faff with logging in - this was a nice touch.

Pillows were a little flat also road was quite loud in the evenings as we were facing the main road. Also coffee machine was turned off to be cleaned earlier than I expected but staff were helpful and turned it back on so I could have my morning coffee! Really helpful!
