The location is vibrant with a great variety of restaurants and shops, and being so close to the Tube made it incredibly convenient for exploring the rest of London. The room was very basic, with all the essentials, but nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable enough, I did notice that the decor is a bit outdated, and some of the facilities, like the bathroom, could use a refresh. It’s a no-frills option, so don’t expect luxury.

I think some of the previous reviews may have been too harsh. Yes, the hotel is basic, but it serves its purpose for a budget stay in an excellent location. It’s definitely not a luxury experience, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep while you’re out exploring London, it’s perfectly fine.

I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some of the previous reviews, but honestly, the hotel was much better than I expected. Yes, it’s a basic hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable, and functional — which is all I really needed. The staff were polite and helpful, and the location is quite convenient. My room was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. This isn’t a luxury stay, but for the price, I found it to be a good value. I didn’t experience any of the major issues others mentioned. If you’re looking for somewhere simple to stay without high expectations, this place does the job just fine. I think some of the negative reviews are overly harsh. Don’t expect 5-star service, but don’t be afraid to book either — it’s not nearly as bad as others have made it sound.

The staff and service was fantastic, super kind and helpful. Location was great, the street is clean and there was no noise or problems in the area. Also the hotel is close to multiple restaurants, cafes, stores, pharmacy and underground. We had a room with two double beds and it was perfect, the room was big and clean, beds had their own privacy, there was a bathtub and small tea/coffee area. Room was perfect for traveling with a teenager or just friends who prefer to sleep in privacy. Price was cheap so great value!

Note that the hotel has no breakfast or room service and the staff is not always present, it’s a self-service hotel. There are however many cafes nearby for breakfast.

Self check in and the quietness and the facility was good

Stayed for one night, ended up booking for another. Excellent value for money, perfectly located with all amenities on the doorstep. Aziz the manager was a delight, friendly and welcoming. Despite some negative reviews I can confirm that it is better than you expect, if you are looking for luxury rooms feel free to pay x3 plus the amount. The rooms are nicely decorated and match the photos advertised. The rooms are spacious with super comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Can't fault it will be staying here again for sure.

This hotel is very good value for money for where it is, the staff who were in reception when I arrived were helpful with the checking in process, the room was nice and clean, and they also provided some refreshments (tea, coffee, milk sachets, water etc)

The only let down for this hotel was the constant noise from the radiator, the radiator fills up but there is no pressure, so you can hear the water moving(it wasn’t overly loud but not helpful when your trying to sleep) other than that it was nice and there weren’t any other things problems

We had a wonderful stay at the Amsterdam hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a good stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to many of London's major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.
