The tipping system. Everything you bought the card reader had a tip option, including at check out where it was already added (5% of total stay bill so my tip came to £24) and you actually had to say if you wanted it removed or not. It all just felt a tad pressurising

Service at breakfast was a little disorganised and the high service charge added to my evening drinks bill was unexpected. It was quickly removed but being asked to pay £11 service charge on a round of drinks at only £14 felt excessive!

The hotel is new and is well decorated with a lovely garden. The staff are new and still learning but generally pleasant and hospitable.

The property is very ok for leisure travel but is not great for business travel. Things move pretty slowly (including coffee in the morning) and not at the pace a business traveler needs. The rooms are also small, and the structure of the building is old which means that sound travels. During my stay, elevators weren’t fully functioning and there was a hotel opening party that went until early morning and could be heard throughout the hotel. Additionally, after I checked out I was chased by hotel staff for a nominal minibar charge that I did not incur, which required me to spend additional personal time to resolve.

A wonderful experience ! The front desk was excellent (eg Lucy, Mohamed etc) and made our stay very comfortable eg early check in, late check out at 2pm, held our luggage and provided a "Refresh room" for us to get change before we headed back home that evening (all comp). Given a complementary drink/cocktail at the bar. Staff in the restaurant and coffee lounge were great too. Very quiet, clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Aircon is on but at whisper mode, very quiet, set at perfect temp. The "rain forest" shower was amazing. 5 min walk from Earls Court underground, approx 20 min to get to Piccadelly circus/West End. We walked to West Kensington area (15 min) for a yummy brunch. You must take full advantage of the hotel garden, especially at night! Thank you everyone at Templeton Gardens for making our stay in London so memorable. My #1 hotel in London by far. Congratulations on all your successes! An easy 10/10 !!

The hotel is brand new, and it shows in every detail. The à la carte breakfast is delicious, and the private garden is the cherry on top - a peaceful oasis filled with flowers and lush green grass. The location is truly perfect for exploring the city, just a 3-minute walk from the metro, offering easy connections to all the main attractions

The hotel’s policy is to service standard rooms every other day. I believe this could be communicated more clearly, as it doesn’t quite align with the level of service expected from a hotel of this standard. That said, upon request, the staff kindly arranged for daily housekeeping

I had a lovely stay. Had a couple of issues, but the staff were very helpful to resolve everything quickly. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The toiletries were nice and neutral. I enjoyed all the little details, really added character to the place. The breakfast was consistently good. Although a selection might seem slightly limited if you don’t eat pork or raw fish, and try to limit gluten, but still need some protein. Special thanks to Mohamed (day shift) and Katha (evening shift) at the reception, and Jaime at the restaurant! They really made my stay with how nice and helpful they were. Also, I was able to store my luggage with the hotel for a couple of days in between my stays. The location is great! It’s very close to the tube, also there are lots of grocery stores and cafes nearby.

You could hear the doors opening and closing in the corridor but overall it was quite quiet in the room. They had a couple of inconsistencies between the description of utilities on the booking.com and actual utilities provided in the room. For instance, here it was initially indicated that the classic room includes a robe and slippers, but in reality it didn’t. Although the staff were helpful enough to provide slippers on request.

A great stay! The hotel is new and done very well. Although I didn’t use the facilities such as the restaurant etc due to a busy schedule, it all looked great. The location is perfect.. quite away from the noise of London, however within a minutes walk to travel options and a busy street. My room was comfortable and spotless, which is what I look for. The tv was easy to connect to streaming platforms and there was a speaker for music. Decor is contemporary and great toiletries The stand out for the hotel is the staff, they are helpful, polite, professional and positive. If you ask them for something, it’s done immediately and with no bother. There wasn’t one negative or mediocre interaction with staff, everyone was lovely and ready to do what they could. That is what sets a hotel apart, especially in a city like London with many options. Thanks to the team, and thanks for their flexibility on check in and out, much appreciated.

This is a real gem of a hotel. Beautifully decorated, real thought put into its design. Real fresh, new feel about the place. Oozes charm, luxury and comfort in an understated way. Lobby was lovely and cool, considering the heat outside, always nice music piped through. Lots of cosy spaces to sit. Staff all so very friendly, everyone we met greeted us, from reception to bar to restaurant to rooms. Couldn't have been nicer. Our room was gorgeous, small and compact but it was only a one night stay. High ceilings and floor to ceiling curtains made it feel more spacious. We had a balcony also, beautiful. Lovely touches everywhere - furnishings, lamps, linen, radio, unusual coat hangers etc. Bathroom small but again beautifully finished. Rain shower and hand held options, pressure amazing. Toiletries included. Tea and coffee (Nespresso) facilities. Garden area outside was a lovely added feature in a city location. All in all, fantastic place to stay. Very close to Earl's Court station also.

Small gripe, breakfast service was slow but food was of top quality. Staff very attentive also and again all so friendly.

The room is well appointed and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. Alll very neat and clean. Great layout.

We were upgraded from the twin room we requested to a "superior" room.I did not enjoy the high level window. I would not classify a superior room as so if it is directly opposite a lift entry (noise etc). There was no milk in the room (for tea or coffee), we requested from reception and received it. I rusk/biscuit would have been nice. Perhaps the option of a decaf coffee? Perhaps a luggage rack would be useful (to save people putting suitcases on beds for packing/unpacking)

Simply a gorgeous newly refurbished hotel (under new management) that makes any visitor to London feel right at home. It was honestly one of the most pleasant hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. And although there are still some re-opening kinks to work out (like the occasional handle falling off of the door), the staff goes the extra mile to make sure everything about a stay is exceptional. Our long weekend at the hotel wasn’t long enough. Looking forward to coming back and staying again.
