It was very spacious and modern. Beds were extremely comfortable and apartment smelt lovely. Liked the James Bond theme.

Squirting boards and sills on door were extremely dusty, cobwebs in the bedroom situated on the right downstairs. Very tired in areas downstairs and patches where there had been damp. Downstairs shower drain was full of hair which we had to clean before using. Very dusty blinds. Television didn’t work due to poor signal.

Everything was spotless. Fiona and Craig were lovely to deal with. The apartment was spotless and peaceful with a lovely welcome basket!! I was nervous as it was really a basement apartment, but it was so lovely and bright and clean, it didn’t feel like one!

If I had to be fussy, the beds were a little hard and quite small, but that’s being SUPER fussy!!

The property is huge and so well kept! Our beds were some of the most comfortable of any place other than our own home we've stayed in a long time. Fiona was very communicative and gave great advice on how to reach the location from the airport and met us at almost midnight to show us the apartment and hand over the keys because our flight came in late. We loved the James Bond theme throughout the house and appreciated the welcome gift of sparkling wine and Scottish treats! The location is close to Saint Andrew Square and walking distance to the castle and the Royal Mile but a few blocks off the Fringe Festival going on while we were there, providing a quiet respite for the kids (and us) after a long day exploring Edinburgh. We will keep Escape to Edinburgh at the top of our list for any return trips to the city and would highly recommend this booking to our friends and family.

Very little not to like. However, I do like a thinner pillow, so having a couple of options would have been good A hand towel in the kitchen would also have been appreciated

The location was excellent. The interior design and amenities was exceptional

It was nice to have a washing machine, however there was no dryer. I understand this may have been a limitation to the property age.

Great home away from home and everything was perfect for our group of 5! Fiona was very helpful and welcoming and could not think of a better place to stay in Edinburgh to explore! Plenty of space and everything was very clean and tidy, hopefully we will be able to stay again one day!

Location was very convenient, hosts were great and communicative for us weary travellers. The welcome basket was thoughtful and generous. Loved the Bond theme and we all had a great game of Bond monopoly!

The location was fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to Waverley station and shops. It was very comfortable and perfect for 6 of us Host was lovely and left us a basket of goodies

only minor issue but found pillows too high and hard. I’ve had back surgery so prefer a softer lower pillow. I went and purchased a couple for myself.

The apartment was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Lots of nice touches including a welcome hamper with Prosecco and Scottish treats , to a handy tote bag to go out and about shopping with. Fiona kept in touch by txt to ensure she met us on arrival and then showed us round the apartment which felt very welcoming. We loved the location in New Town which was a ten minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley.

Nothing to dislike.

Amazing apartment with every amenity you could wish for. Super location - central yet quiet. And if you are a Bond fan, this shrine of devotionalia is an absolute must. Great hosts and very easy check-in and -out. Any time again!
