The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Kitchen had washer/dryer, oven, microwave and most utensils. Heating was great and extra blankets provided on request. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Location is less than 10 mins walk to Princes St, bus and tram nearly including Waverley Station. We will definitely be booking here again.

Queen Street is a very busy street and the traffic and sirens irritated us but we coped. The keypad to the room sometimes took a few goes but once again we coped. The dryer door was a challenge to deal with . None of these were a deal breaker, it's definitely worth the stay.

A large and really well speced appartment. Easy to walk to from Waverley Station. Excellent location to walk to city centre, transport stops and Stockbridge/Dean Village. Fully equipped, comfortably furnished. Everything worked as expected. TV had Chromecast. Great garden views from all large windows.

When Sonder takes over the booking process, it can become somewhat uncomfortable. It is just the way they do business. They request a lot of personal information, including photo ID over the internet, and send persistent and unsettling reminders if you don't provide it. If you resist supplying this personal data and arrive during staffed hours, then it proves unnecessary. Friendly desk staff had no difficulty completing our check-in.

* The hotel's location was excellent, providing convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities ( 3 mins walking to Princes Street and 10 mins walking to high street and royal mile . * The hotel maintained high standards of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. * The hotel provided a strong sense of safety and security, offering peace of mind throughout your stay. Im really happy with Sonder application , It gave me full access to the building and my room with out card so I can use my phone for opening gates. * The furniture in the hotel was well-maintained and added to the overall comfort of the accommodation.

Nothing to say But I recommend to give 1 day cleaning service for at least people who booked 6 days and above . Window’s curtain was not working in living room , I recommend to fix it so at night people can enjoy sitting in the living area .

We were assigned a ground floor room next to some constantly working machines (air-conditioning?) situated outside, in the garden. They did not look nice (booked a garden view), were quite noisy and the people visiting the garden could peek into our apartment. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception anymore, so we could not ask for a room swap. That was an annoyance as we stayed there for 9 nights. For noise-sensitive people garden side is worth booking though, as the hotel is situated at a quite busy road.

Really nice spacious apartment, high ceilings, just a 5 minute walk from the Royal Mile. Service requests were promptly followed up by remote support & local staff.

Although the apartment was tidy, it could (and should) have been cleaner: there was coffee residue in the coffeepot and the toiletries were not clean. Also, being located in a relatively old building, the window panes had old/crackling/moldy caulk around the glazing. I.e. it needs some TLC maintenance wise. Sonder prides itself on the highest level of service, with that comes - in my opinion - an immaculate level of cleanliness which was unfortunately not the case. Given their pricepoint, I expected a higher standard.

Everything! Absolutely wonderful. Lots of light coming in, comfortable bed, long tub I could actually stretch out in! I didn't want to leave to explore Edinburgh it was so nice. Comfortable, quiet, beautiful. I absolutely can not recommend it enough. This is literally my favorite place I have stayed anywhere in the UK. I was able to cook and do my laundry and leave refreshed and without having a suitcase full of dirty clothes. It was fantastic.

Very nice flat in central New Town of Edinburgh. Tram and buses right outside, but also entirely walkable to key locations including Princes Street and the Royal Mile.

The washing machine was broken and we had trouble with dishwasher, but a repair person was sent quickly to fix the dishwasher. It would be nice to have a brochure in the flat that details how to use the appliances, thermostat, etc.

Location very good. Spotless accommodation. Every facility required in the studio. Staff helpful.

Did not notice ‘no window’ in room details on line, until after we made booking. Never stayed where no window on the room. Found it claustrophobic, tried to change rooms but no accommodation left! Possibly bigger sign in your advert would help. Micro/cooker complicated to use, googled it in the end!

The apartments were in an excellent location as only a few minutes walk to the shopping & restaurants districts, Christmas market and easy walk or bus ride to the old town/castle. Automatic code check in/out was easy. All information was provided beforehand but reception staff were also on hand and very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was beautiful, modern décor and facilities and very comfortable. We flew to Edinburgh and found the 25 minute tram ride from the airport to the city centre excellent and only cost £9 per person for an open return (concessions and family tickets available). The tram stop at St Andrew's Square is a five minute, downhill leisurely walk to the apartment. It was a bonus to be able to leave our bags prior to check in and after check out to help us make the most of our break without lugging bags with us. Highly recommend as will definitely be going back and also looking at other Sonder apartments around the UK and world.

Great location and a lovely apartment

The check in process did not work for us and contact from the staff was not consistent. We did have lovely service from one staff member on the chat function but when we were struggling on the check in day to load more documents we were sent an email saying we needed to have them loaded by 6pm or there would be nobody to let us in which felt a little harsh as we had already told the team on chat we were having trouble with the links and our trains had been cancelled so we were due to arrive late.
