Perfect location for a weekend in Edinburgh. Minutes from tram stop. Loved the bar area in the evening. Had a glass or two and some food while we enjoyed the live music.

Room was quite small but as we were out most of the day it wasn’t really an issue. There was no safe or bottled water in the room. Breakfast felt a little hectic and chaotic. Perhaps we just were unlucky with timings and went to breakfast at the busiest time. It was difficult to get near anything to see what was on offer. Settled for a coffee and pastry and left quickly. The next day we decided to go out for breakfast to avoid the scrum.

Excellent location. We stayed for a week and we pretty much walked everywhere. Some of the staff were great - really attentive and made the stay a great experience. Especially a lady at the restaurant downstairs - Sajna (I might be mispronouncing this) was really helpful throughout the stay.

The rooms are tiny. And I mean really small. It’s probably suited for one person to stay. But as a couple - we struggled. We even hit our foot moving around the bed multiple times. The pictures are a bit misleading in showing the room size.

This hotel is a gem of a hotel in Edinburgh! The location is super handy and nearby to George Street, Princess Street, St. James Quarter and the Edinburgh trams. The hotel had a quick check in process and all the staff were super friendly! The room we had was excellent, super super clean and a lot larger than most rooms in Edinburgh and with a good size bathroom! The room also has AC (which is very rare in Scotland hotels) which was super handy for when the weather got too hot! I particularly liked the Arran Aromatics Scottish products which are found within the bathrooms and also the fact you can buy these at reception and also that the hotel provides shortbread with tea and coffee, this is a nice touch! The continental breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the food was nice and fresh and was regularly being topped up by the friendly staff.

This was a fantastic hotel with the best breakfast ever! So many choices and quality items. Beds were comfortable, cool decor, easy to operate AC, bathroom was gorgeous with beautiful ceramic tile and a fabulous shower. Its location is St. Andrew’s square, very easily accessible to the main bus station to catch our tours, Prince Street, and a bunch of restaurants and shopping. Staff was available 24/7. Security key for doors and elevator.

Room was a bit small for two larger suitcases. Suitcase stands would be appreciated and tissues. But I do understand that this is a green facility.

We just ended our 4th stay at the amazing Ibis St-Andrew square in Edinburgh. We adore this hotel, the location is perfect, we can walk everywhere within a few minutes and next to the tram direct to/from the airport . The rooms are modern, comfy and very clean. The hotel vibe and decor is really fun and the live music at the bar on some nights is a cool touch. The team is warm, helpful and welcoming. Overall perfect tor your stay in Edinburgh. Thank you Tatiana, Usman, Zoltan and Mod, we can't wait to come back for another visit.

Excellent breakfast, the hotel art and decor was amazing and eclectic and added to the boutique atmosphere, lobby staff incredibly friendly and helpful and the location made walking to the sights and local pubs a breeze particularly being so close to Rose Street and we lucked out weather wise with warm sunny days on patios outside with flowered gardens and cafes , definitely making this beautiful City a favourite destination.

The rooms were small, like New York’s hotels, barely room to move around the bed and with more luggage than usual as attending a wedding, made it a little cramped sharing with a friend ! Otherwise all good.

My friend & I went to celebrate our 70th birthdays and we were very impressed with the choice of our hotel. The decor was interesting & quirky, the staff friendly & helpful, especially Jonathan, who helped us to book a tour. We chose the twin room on the lower ground floor, as it was slightly larger. The room was well furnished & as there was no opening window we had air-conditioning. There was a great choice at the buffet style breakfast, including haggis & scrambled eggs. We will certainly recommend the hotel & hope to return soon.

Location is great as it is very close to the Royal Mile but just far enough to be out of the fray; breakfast is delicious with lots of options for all tastes (almond AND oat milk, even a Virgin Mary station); and the staff were warm, welcoming and especially responsive to our needs. Special thanks to Zoltan, Gosia, and Johnathan for assisting in a room change, holding baggage after check out and overall making us feel very welcome. Side note: I liked the amount of art on the property - entry, breakfast room/bar, hallways, rooms all had interesting things to look at. Included is a pic of a special friend on the rooms’s ceiling, we of course called her Hedwig.

No room safe, although staff did offer to put our valuables in the property safe if needed.

Very helpful staff and a fantastic location! It's just a 5 minute walk to the Airlink airport shuttle so very convenient. I also appreciated the decor and lighting in the room. Also, I was really grateful for the luggage scale being available.

Pricey for such a small room. The continental breakfast, while still light years ahead of US hotels, paled in comparison to other hotels in Scotland I stayed in. The bathroom sink style (a long trough) is attractive but not practical because of a lack of space for toiletries. Very nice but confusing shower. Staff helped but a small card to help explain it would be welcome.

The hotel is perfect, the decor is modern and beautiful, everything is very clean. The room is bright and well decorated. The shower is the best I've ever had a shower, the bed is incredibly comfortable and large. Good pillows. The breakfast is very generous and has several options. The location is central and a few minutes' walk from the main tourist attractions. Everyone is very polite. The only thing I would change would be the bathroom door, it's in front of the bed and is almost transparent, which makes the light from the bathroom pass into the room and wake up light sleepers like me. But this small problem wouldn't stop us from staying at this hotel again.
