Upon arrival when checking in, to our delight we were informed that we had been upgraded to the Bonnie suite. The suite was beautiful with panoramic veiws over Edinburgh. Everything was beyond our expectations. Parking was only £13 for 24hrs too. We will definitely be returning.

The location of Roomzzz Edinburgh was great! It's a 15-minute walk from the main sites, and the hotel exits onto a main street where transportation is easy to find. The kitchenette in the room had everything we needed. The bedding and pillows were some of the best we had experienced in two weeks of traveling in the UK. Roomzzz is conveniently located (kind of) inside a shopping center (see pictures) which was great to take the escalator downstairs and have tons of eating options. I would definitely recommend asking to have a window facing the street and view rather than the inside of the shopping center.

It said guaranteed check-in anytime after 3pm. Our room wasn't available until 3:15pm. I know that's a short wait, but after hours of traveling, the last thing we wanted to do was wait for 20 minutes in a hotel lobby. The staff didn't make any effort to apologize...even just letting us know the wifi password or SOMETHING would have been a kind gesture. Our balcony was inside the shopping center basically and felt a bit unsafe as someone could easily jump over the railing. I thought parking was included, but after making two trips to get the parking ticket validated I spent £28. Better communication from those at reception is definitely an opportunity for improvement.

The property was excellent once we found it. It was centrally located, in walking distance to all attractions. It was above a shopping centre complex so we had secure parking for the 4 days we were there and the reception validates your parking ticket when you leave. It also provided a guest laundry, and a light complementary breakfast if you require it. .

If the direction stated the the property was above the shopping centre with access through the secure care park at St James Quarter we wouldn't have been driving around in peak hour traffic for 40 minutes.

My stay at Roomzzz Edinburgh was excellent. Staff were very friendly and rooms clean with everything you would need (having a kitchenette also made it handy if you wanted to eat breakfast in your room). Beds were very comfortable, cleaning service available daily and great wifi. Roomzzz also offered complimentary hot drinks throughout the day. The aparthotel is located at St James Quarter and has direct access to the shopping mall from its top door. Location is very central and attractions/shops/restaurants are all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would have no issues coming back.

The rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the addition of a small kitchen with a full-size fridge is a great bonus, especially in the city centre. Everything was spotless, and the A/C kept the air fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is, of course, unbeatable, sitting on the top floor of St James Quarter. Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.

Unfortunately, our upstairs neighbours weren’t very considerate and were up all hours of the night making noise. If I were to stay again I’d ask for the top floor as you could hear them walking around.

Great location and being connected to St James, it had great access to bars/restaurants etc. Room was a decent size and having a microwave and hob was quite useful if you intend on buying and reheating a takeaway. The property is also 5mins away from Waverley Station which is very convenient. Just keep in mind, with the exception of a kettle, couple of Tea bags/coffee and milk sachets, that it is self-catering (with option to buy small snacks), so adjust expectation accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

Just a small thing, the complementary breakfast croissant would have been better if small butters/Jams/choc spreads where made available. With that said, the proximity to local cafes/bakers (MÓR Bakery is 1 min away), means you can simply get breakfast elsewhere. One thing to note is the room names on Booking.com don't correspond to room names on the Roomzzz website and therefore there was some uncertainty as to what I was booking. I had to message Roomzzz to find out that "deluxe double room" on booking.com was actually the "Grande Studio"

Perfect location close to all the main sights, many dining options around. The place looked good. Eventhough it is an apartment style, there was free coffee and croissants every morning, which was a nice surprise.

The cleanliness could be improved. We changed the rooms because the first one had several stains on the bedsheets and bathroom was not well cleaned. The second room was somewhat better but i would still expect higher standard especially considering all the good reviews. The mattress was very soft. I guess this is a personal preference, but for me this is uncomfortable.

Fabulous, spacious room with an incredible view. Location is excellent, and the room/hotel has everything you could need. We had such a great first 2 nights, we extended our stay.

Unfortunately it went downhill for our last 3 nights - people checked into the room next to us and caused chaos. The hardwood floors make it SO loud and when you have rude people dragging furniture and banging against the walls (amongst other things) literally all night, sleep is not possible. We had to get the night staff involved and as nice as he was, we had to actually confront the guests. For a new building, soundproofing should be far better (but these guests were particularly disruptive).. Housekeeping also didnt attend when we put the sign on the door. But the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in resolving.

The room was fresh and clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped with good quality things. The TV was in good working order. The lift was large and clean. The bathroom and shower were in good working order and very clean, hand/shower wash and hand cream were good quality. Free fresh coffee and croissants and pleasant seating area in reception. The aparthotel was easily accessible from the St James Quarter (2 minute walk), very handy when you've bought lots of shopping! Best of all? The view from the balcony which looked out onto Calton Hill, Arthur's Seat and the Firth of Forth in the distance. Wonderful!!

A sofa or sitting area in the room would have been nice, but not essential.

Our apartment was absolutely immaculate - and we were given an upgrade due to a celebration which was very kind of them - we had a fantastic view of the city. Location was perfect, right within walking distance of the city centre, but still quiet at night, and the hotel felt very secure being high up and needing key access for the front entrance. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were superb, such an amazing shower. The mini kitchen was very useful too, and fab coffee machine. Reception staff were always super accommodating and friendly. We ended up having to ring up the day before our planned check-in date and change the date last minute due to a cancelled flight, and the customer service was impeccable. Lobby area was immaculate and we appreciated the free coffee and tea whilst we sheltered from the rain waiting for our flight home. Would absolutely recommend and will be staying there next time.

This place was pretty much perfect!
