Upon arrival when checking in, to our delight we were informed that we had been upgraded to the Bonnie suite. The suite was beautiful with panoramic veiws over Edinburgh. Everything was beyond our expectations. Parking was only £13 for 24hrs too. We will definitely be returning.

Pillows' quality is bad and needs to be replaced. AC was not functioning as well as before.

The location of Roomzzz Edinburgh was great! It's a 15-minute walk from the main sites, and the hotel exits onto a main street where transportation is easy to find. The kitchenette in the room had everything we needed. The bedding and pillows were some of the best we had experienced in two weeks of traveling in the UK. Roomzzz is conveniently located (kind of) inside a shopping center (see pictures) which was great to take the escalator downstairs and have tons of eating options. I would definitely recommend asking to have a window facing the street and view rather than the inside of the shopping center.

It said guaranteed check-in anytime after 3pm. Our room wasn't available until 3:15pm. I know that's a short wait, but after hours of traveling, the last thing we wanted to do was wait for 20 minutes in a hotel lobby. The staff didn't make any effort to apologize...even just letting us know the wifi password or SOMETHING would have been a kind gesture. Our balcony was inside the shopping center basically and felt a bit unsafe as someone could easily jump over the railing. I thought parking was included, but after making two trips to get the parking ticket validated I spent £28. Better communication from those at reception is definitely an opportunity for improvement.

The location was great. Our room was very comfortable. We used the laundry facility which was fully complimentary. Nice touch. The hotel provides complimentary croissants in the morning and coffee is available all day. The staff was extremely helpful in every way.

The bathroom had ONE towel bar and one hook in the bathroom, yet the towels were huge. Two wouldn't fit on the bar, not even two hand towels. With all the blank wall space, they can do better. Maybe it's a UK thing, but no way to use the blow dryer in the bathroom so the only place was to sit on the bed and use a full length mirror. However, there was a nice desk with a chair, outlets, etc., but no mirror. Odd. Finally, it's a little thing, but paper and pen is much appreciated

Beautiful room. Friendly, helpful staff. Access to snacks in the lobby. Easy access to Uber pickup. Located in a nice shopping center. Easy access to restaurants, etc.

We stayed at Roomzzz on the front and back end of our two week stay in Scotland. The front end was great - except we only received one key card, and you had to use that to keep the lights on. It was warm during our stay, and the air conditioning never cooled down the room properly. Every time we left; the air turned off. During our stay at the end of our trip, we were given two cards, which worked much better. Bit of a walk from the parking lot. Discovered they offer a discount on parking during a 2nd stay, so we weren't able to take advantage of this offer on the front end (3 nights). Rate was higher than stated.

Very good location in the middle of all touristic sites. A very comfortable concept with its location on the upper floors of a shopping center, with coffee available throughout the day, with croissants in the morning (although it is listed without breakfast). Very well equipped kitchenette with new appliances and refrigerator. The room with balcony has a gorgeous view of Calton Hill and sea. Very comfortable bed.

A little disappointed that cleaning and changing towels was done once in the 6 days of our stay.

My stay at Roomzzz Edinburgh was excellent. Staff were very friendly and rooms clean with everything you would need (having a kitchenette also made it handy if you wanted to eat breakfast in your room). Beds were very comfortable, cleaning service available daily and great wifi. Roomzzz also offered complimentary hot drinks throughout the day. The aparthotel is located at St James Quarter and has direct access to the shopping mall from its top door. Location is very central and attractions/shops/restaurants are all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would have no issues coming back.

The property was excellent once we found it. It was centrally located, in walking distance to all attractions. It was above a shopping centre complex so we had secure parking for the 4 days we were there and the reception validates your parking ticket when you leave. It also provided a guest laundry, and a light complementary breakfast if you require it. .

If the direction stated the the property was above the shopping centre with access through the secure care park at St James Quarter we wouldn't have been driving around in peak hour traffic for 40 minutes.

The rooms are fantastic—spacious, well-designed, and the addition of a small kitchen with a full-size fridge is a great bonus, especially in the city centre. Everything was spotless, and the A/C kept the air fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is, of course, unbeatable, sitting on the top floor of St James Quarter. Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.

Unfortunately, our upstairs neighbours weren’t very considerate and were up all hours of the night making noise. If I were to stay again I’d ask for the top floor as you could hear them walking around.

Great location and being connected to St James, it had great access to bars/restaurants etc. Room was a decent size and having a microwave and hob was quite useful if you intend on buying and reheating a takeaway. The property is also 5mins away from Waverley Station which is very convenient. Just keep in mind, with the exception of a kettle, couple of Tea bags/coffee and milk sachets, that it is self-catering (with option to buy small snacks), so adjust expectation accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

Just a small thing, the complementary breakfast croissant would have been better if small butters/Jams/choc spreads where made available. With that said, the proximity to local cafes/bakers (MÓR Bakery is 1 min away), means you can simply get breakfast elsewhere. One thing to note is the room names on Booking.com don't correspond to room names on the Roomzzz website and therefore there was some uncertainty as to what I was booking. I had to message Roomzzz to find out that "deluxe double room" on booking.com was actually the "Grande Studio"
