Our 3-night stay at Forth House was perfect and had everything we needed. It was so comfortable, clean and calm, and the location was perfect: super close to Picardy Place tram station, great breakfast cafes around the corner, short stroll to Stockbridge and Old Town. We were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a super spacious executive one-bedroom suite on the 5th floor with two terraces. It overlooked an alley with bars but we had no noise problems at all. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely book Forth House again for future visits to Edinburgh!

This apartment made our trip to Edinburgh the BEST! I cannot say enough good things about it! From the location, to the front desk staff, to the full kitchen, the extra coffee! Espresso maker! This hotel/apartment exceeded all of our expectations! The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked! We could walk to everything in Edinburgh, the Grassmarket, the Castle, Royal mile! You can even take the tram, which is a block away to the airport and to St. Andrew’s! I highly recommend staying here, it’s way way better than a hotel! It was like we had our own little house, It was a gem and it made our trip special, I’m so glad we found this!

This was the perfect property, safe, clean, and perfect location! If you take a cab, they have a hard time finding it because it’s new and not in Google maps. Tell the cab to go to the Outdoor Bar on Broughton Lane, not Street. Or better yet, spend $8.00 and take the tram to the city center and walk a block! There is nothing I didn’t like about it, we loved it!

Our apartment was impeccably clean and was easy to maintain (although it was cleaned midweek since we stayed for 7 nights). There was staff available for 24 hours, and they were all helpful concerning our questions about the up to date new appliances (too smart for us old folks). The new air conditioning system was indeed needed on some days, and the staff were attentive to its idiosyncrasies. Nevertheless, we had a relaxing stay in this location that was close to coffee shops, a few grocery stores including one selling organic goods, and an array of restaurants. Furthermore, this place was even close to the tram that goes around town and leads to the airport. Very convenient!

Nothing at all since all our problems were addressed by the attentive staff.

Central location within walking distance of the station, tram stop and bus stop. Easy to reach a variety of attractions. Tesco Express nearby for basic groceries. Mor bakehouse has delicious savoury and sweet bakes. Very pleasant and helpful staff at the hotel reception. We were surprised how little noise we heard from the street. Effective air conditioning. The accommodation was spotlessly clean.

We preferred the brighter, lighter room we had at the Supercity hotel in Brighton. This one seemed dull unless we had the lights on but presumably that is controlled by the size of the window so can't be helped. The large rubbish bag didn't fit in the cupboard so was lying around in the room - this could be easily remedied by providing bags that fit on the hooks provided.

I stayed at the Forth House twice during my trip, and I found it ideal both times. Each apartment was actually better than I expected from the photos and had everything I needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated the detailed instructions for the washing machine and all other appliances and devices. The front desk staff were very friendly, and I routinely stopped for a quick chat with some of them. The location was also perfect for reaching everything, including both the Old and New Towns, grocery stores, a range of restaurants, the bus and train stations, and even the tram from the airport. I couldn't have asked for more!

On the street side, there is a bar across the small lane. If the weekend noise might bother you, be sure to ask for a room on the back side.

Great location to visit all the main sites in the city. One block from the tram stop, which we took from the airport for very cheap, 7.50 GBP, purchased ahead of time online. There's a small grocery store just around the corner, as well as numerous coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. There's even a cool little bar just across the street with a great host. Our room was super clean, and such a comfy bed with very fluffy pillows, A/C was a big plus, and all amenities including a small kitchenette to use with complimentary water/coffee/tea. The hotel was so helpful in answering all our questions ahead of time about transportation and restaurants/stores in the immediate area, and there was always someone at the Reception desk to assist with anything. Very satisfied with this choice!

There is no meal service, but that's a small thing since there's a kitchenette to use and stores nearby to grab things. Didn't miss it at all.

Terrific, friendly, staff - a real highlight Excellent facilities (high shower pressure, superb air con, dishwasher, oven, fridge, etc...) Wonderful touch providing small portions of things you might need, like washing up liquid, milk, oat milk, dishwasher tablets... Great towels, no issues getting more. All required cutlery and preparation materials were present and clean as well.

The technology - namely TV - was misleading and didn't have a lot of connectivity. We couldn't connect a Nintendo Switch as the HDMI ports were blocked, we couldn't connect to the casting for some reason (just errored out), so it was basically just for watching terrestrial TV. Not a major issue for most, but was a bit disappointing The blinds were not great and let a little more light in than you'd like, but hardly a major problem.

The Forth House by Supercity apartment was a perfect place to stay for 4 nights after our 4 week adventure around Scotland. The apartment as spacious and new, allowing us to relax and spread out. The apartment was conveniently located in New Town, close to the tram, and the bus and train stations. It was relatively quite, compared to the Royal Mile, however, it only took 20 minutes to walk to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The staff attending the desk were very friendly and helpful, and provided guidance to make our stay in Edinburgh extra special.

No issues

Stayed here at beginning and end of our Scotland trip. Very clean, comfy apartment. Useful kitchen setup. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, with resupplying things like coffee and towels, tips about Edinburgh. Room was quiet, which was especially good when we got there jet-lagged for a few nights. Great location - short walks to most places in the city center, and even just a pleasant 20-30 minutes to Stockbridge and Dean Village. Several good pubs/bars in the immediate neighborhood including two right across the street. Convenient for a quick draft beer and/or wee dram.

We stayed here for one night, and it was our very first trip with our 4-month-old baby. We had rented a lot of baby equipment (large stroller, crib, etc.), and the team went above and beyond to make our stay smooth. They kindly allowed all the items to be delivered before our arrival, and when there was a delay in pickup, they were incredibly accommodating and professional. I felt embarrassed at first about the hassle, but they kept reassuring me that this is part of travel and it’s completely okay. Their kindness and support truly made all the difference — without them, our first day would have been so stressful. Instead, it was smooth and worry-free. The location is great — the aparthotel is tucked into an alley, so it’s easy to temporarily park right in front to unload bags. The rooms are exactly like the photos: spacious, airy, and very clean. Even though our room felt like it was on a lower level, it still had windows with natural light, which made it pleasant. The living area and kitchen were perfect for family needs. The small dining table was so useful, and the couch even doubled as a changing area for the baby. The bathroom was spacious, and the sink worked perfectly for a baby bath setup. One of our favorite surprises was how soundproof the apartment felt. Our baby could sleep peacefully in the bedroom while we used the living room — I could even use a hairdryer without waking her up! That gave us such peace of mind. This property is truly family-friendly in every way: from the outstanding customer service to the thoughtful room layout and the convenient location. We are so, so grateful to the team for making our first family trip such a positive experience. Highly, highly recommended!
