Fantastic apartment. Top notch kitchen equipment. Very clean and comfortable. I especially loved the hotel-like service in a full apartment setting. The 24 hour availability of the high end barista machine machine was an added bonus. Location is safe and secure with 24 hours staff. About 5 minute walk to the castle. 1 minute to Sainsbury groceries.

Location was excellent - short walk to all the major attractions and sites. 2 BDR suite was nice and roomy - helped us spread out a bit vs our recent London accommodation, where we were on top of each other.

Reception was advertised as being open 24hrs - it was not, and closed around 8pm on some nights. Traditional keys for the doors seemed a bit antiquated vs the cards most hotels used nowadays. While the location was great for proximity to the tourist attractions, the hotel is about 30 seconds away from strip joints and adult bars, which was not ideal for family travel (like ours).

The location is great. The apartment was clean, modern, and plenty of room for my family of 5 to stretch out and relax. The kitchen in our 2 bedroom was thoughtfully stocked with everything you need, to include laundry tabs, tea and coffee, and there was even a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The mattress and pillows could have been more soft and comfortable.

Excellent spacious accommodation with very helpful staff and all the facilities we needed. The beds were very comfortable and there was even a Christmas tree in the lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of good places to eat and a small supermarket nearby as well.

Pretty off-putting having three strip clubs within 100 metres of the place but this did not cause any problems while we were there. Enjoyed going to the Lyceum theatre which was a short walk away, and not much further to get to the castle etc so the location was fine overall.

Very good rooms & amenities, central location & super access to convenience stores & places of interest. Staff & people in Edinburgh were very courteous and very warm & friendly. Very hospitable.

Great central location. Didn't like being on 5th floor (top floor). Comfortable, quiet, well stocked, clean, 2 bedrooms apartment. Washer/ dryer machine. Drying cycle terrible (need drying rack instead). Need spatula in kitchen utensils. Provided with a bottle of milk and selections of tea/ coffee etc. If you want, the apartment is cleaned and restocked every day. We didn't need that. Supplies were also provided by reception. The day we arrived the elevator decided not to work!! We had to hike up 5 flights of stairs! Fortunately, it was fixed fairly quickly, and we were able to use it to bring up all our luggage. Provided 2 sets of keys with front entrance door fobs. Coffee machine available in tiny lobby. Very convenient grocery store right around the corner. Short walk to many restaurants, events and transport. Would definitely stay here again. A few small issues. Would give a 4.5/5 rating.

As above. Needs drying rack for clothes. No spatula in kitchen. Forgot to mention shower/ bathtub needs a rubber mat as it is very, very slippy. (quite dangerous) I considered buying one. Maybe the staff can provide one if asked. Master bedroom small.

The apartment was well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, selection of teas & coffees in kitchen & lovely shower gels & shampoos in bathroom. The towels were changed everyday. The apartment was spotlessly clean. It is ideally located for the castle & sightseeing bus stops just down the road. We will definitely return!

The sofa bed was a tad uncomfortable.

The staff was friendly and approachable. The apartment was perfect for our needs (family of 4 plus my mom). We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that had a sofa bed. It was clean and well maintained. Great location, walking distance near this adorable book store, local convenient store for all of your grocery item needs. Nearby you'll also find restaurants, Blue Blazer pub, and cafes. Also close enough to the castle, but we used Uber to get to the Royal Mile area. Absolutely loved our stay and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family when visiting Edinburgh. This is a perfect place for families.

The sofa bed wasn't comfortable but none of them ever are. Still give this apartment a 10.

The Knight Residence by Mansley offers a fantastic stay in Edinburgh with its prime location near Grassmarket and the heart of the Old Town. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, making them ideal for a relaxing visit. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient, with special mention to Piotr and Luca for their excellent service. Whether for a short stay or an extended visit, this residence provides great convenience and comfort in a vibrant part of the city.

We had a minor hiccup with a leaky pipe that caused an electricity outage partly and water dripping from the foyer roof, but it was quickly and efficiently addressed.

Really nice appartement, even for a longer stay. There is an parking space which can be extra booked, thats really good, especially in the center of Edinburgh. It got everything that's needed, from dishwasher to washing machine. Very kindly personal, ready to help at any time. Location is very good, Edinburgh can be visited by feet. The price was high, but not as high as the hotels near the castle. There is a cleaning service offered every day, so you can nearly live like in a hotel, but with much more space. Everything was clean and comfortable. We will come back and really recommend this accommodation.
