Friendly welcome. Nice relaxed atmosphere, lovely refreshing free water in reception (apparently made by the manager, a CHOICE of flavours too!) room was already prepared WITH a switched in fan in it (hot week, rooms have no Aircon) very thoughtful. Excellent location. Excellent value 'continental style' breakfast with prompt, un-intrusive delivery.

Absolutely no issues.... maybe getting out the bath, it's a deep step to the ground however, I am certain IF a less able person had this room and asked then a step would be provided. Genuinely, the staff in this hotel (possibly thanks to an EXCELLENT manager, good recruitment and excellent training) do whatever they can to make your stay special. It was our 2nd time staying here and will return again.

We used this hotel as a stop off before attending Chessington. The local was ideal as only a short distance from Chessington theme park. And we didn't have to go into London. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean, the porter took my children to meet the "foxes" whilst I checked in which was very handy and thoughtful. Very friendly staff.

The bedroom wasn't clean when we arrived, but soon switched to another room, luckily they had another family room available as it was very late once we arrived. We were offered a "take away" breakfast which was okay, would had preferred more variety though, but understand they don't have the facilities to use. An idea would be to join forces with the pub next door to offer a discounted breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ordid Epsom London, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the afternoon reception staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and warm hospitality set the tone for a great stay. The hotel room itself was lovely—spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. It featured both a bath and shower, which was a great touch and added to the comfort of the stay. The beds were beautifully presented, making for a cozy and restful night. Overall, my experience at Ordid Epsom London was incredibly positive. The warm and attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and lovely amenities made it a stay worth remembering. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

We stayed here as we had a late night flight into Gatwick airport and plans in London the next day, checked in early hours of the morning and paid £10 for a late checkout. I was really pleasantly surprised as we booked here as it was a reasonable price and outskirts of London location, 35mins from Gatwick. The bed was so comfortable, the hotel was not noisy so we slept really well, room was clean, tea/coffee in the room, lovely shower! Parking on site and the staff were all very helpful and friendly during check in and out. I would stay here again if I come back to the area.

Lovely warm welcome and first impression that staff are very eager to please. Very comfortable king sized bed with crisp cotton sheets/duvet cover, good blackout very quiet indeed considering proximity to road (did request a quiet room) o disturbance from other guests or next door pub Pub convenient for evening dining (though not great food tbh but that is no fault of orchid hotel) Colour schemes easy on the eye and nice artwork on the wall Room temp very comfortable Slept well Occilating fans (not needed) x2 (!) provided

We had an extremely squeaky floorboard right into the doorway of the bathroom and up to the toilet bowl so it was impossible to use the bathroom during the right without waking everyone in the room (family room so potentially four disturbed sleeps) (room 6) There are a few scuff marks on the white walls hock could be easily removed and the corner of the bedframe is damaged (presumably just worn away by e skews sheet chsnges

The bed was comfortable and the grab-and-go breakfast was sufficient. It was conveniently situated for our trip to Wimbledon the following day., though I wouldn't stay again.

The building is very tired - it looks like a nursing home from the outside - and needs desperately updating. The carpets are old and shabby, and our bathroom although clean was very dated and had a shower CURTAIN, rather than a screen. I haven't seen a shower curtain in a hotel for years! It wasn't mouldy, but am very surprised that Best Western owns this - it needs a lot of money spending on it!

The staff couldn't have been nicer, more friendly or more helpful. The in room delivered breakfast was useful particularly if you needed to be out early. The breakfast bap is a good attempt to provide a hot option especially given the facilities in the hotel. But the breakfast baps did turn out to be a little disappointing. Location next to an ember inn added to the convenience of the hotel and provided an excellent option for an evening meal. To sum up we would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel again.

The breakfast bap was the only disappointing aspect of our stay.

It had loads of parking, good staff, good location for our visit, nearby restaurants, takeaways and grocery stores in either direction, a pub right next to it - though it was under renovation by the time we came back near the end of our stay. Plenty of extra space in our room on the top floor and a chaise to lounge on. Reasonable prices and checkout policies - we were able to pay a small fee so that we could stay in the room a little longer avoiding a long wait at the airport.

It was quite warm in the rooms when we stayed there in early July and we couldn't get it to cool down. Wished there was an ice machine or equivalent.

Friendliness of the staff. .. nothing was too much effort! Great value breakfast, location - plenty eateries near and good variety. Staff seemed happy at their jobs. Good relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant stay. Made to feel welcome. Having a fan in the room was a super and considerate and welcome addition. Very well ran and organised. The staff are an asset to the manager.

Could do with better guidance on HOW to get public transport to the hotel. The number 406 Transport London bus runs from directly outside the hotel in BOTH directions from both Epsom and Kingston high streets. This is a fantastic asset as both are large towns with excellent onward travel links and nice areas to spend a day. This useful bus link makes the hotel easy to get to but I think it's closer to Kingston, not Epsom. We are not from London and had no idea HOW to pay for the bus... One person can only pay for themselves, so all people in the group need to have a bank card. NO complaints about the hotel.

So welcoming...comfy and good atmosphere. Asked to change room for quieter one and was promptly changed. Attention to detail. Forgot charger and Danissa PhD us promptly to come back to collect it...room was spacious and although pretty basic had everything we needed...plenty storage space etc...Great lighting!...very comfortable 😀
