I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ordid Epsom London, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the afternoon reception staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and warm hospitality set the tone for a great stay. The hotel room itself was lovely—spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. It featured both a bath and shower, which was a great touch and added to the comfort of the stay. The beds were beautifully presented, making for a cozy and restful night. Overall, my experience at Ordid Epsom London was incredibly positive. The warm and attentive staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and lovely amenities made it a stay worth remembering. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

We stayed here as we had a late night flight into Gatwick airport and plans in London the next day, checked in early hours of the morning and paid £10 for a late checkout. I was really pleasantly surprised as we booked here as it was a reasonable price and outskirts of London location, 35mins from Gatwick. The bed was so comfortable, the hotel was not noisy so we slept really well, room was clean, tea/coffee in the room, lovely shower! Parking on site and the staff were all very helpful and friendly during check in and out. I would stay here again if I come back to the area.

Lovely warm welcome and first impression that staff are very eager to please. Very comfortable king sized bed with crisp cotton sheets/duvet cover, good blackout very quiet indeed considering proximity to road (did request a quiet room) o disturbance from other guests or next door pub Pub convenient for evening dining (though not great food tbh but that is no fault of orchid hotel) Colour schemes easy on the eye and nice artwork on the wall Room temp very comfortable Slept well Occilating fans (not needed) x2 (!) provided

We had an extremely squeaky floorboard right into the doorway of the bathroom and up to the toilet bowl so it was impossible to use the bathroom during the right without waking everyone in the room (family room so potentially four disturbed sleeps) (room 6) There are a few scuff marks on the white walls hock could be easily removed and the corner of the bedframe is damaged (presumably just worn away by e skews sheet chsnges

The staff couldn't have been nicer, more friendly or more helpful. The in room delivered breakfast was useful particularly if you needed to be out early. The breakfast bap is a good attempt to provide a hot option especially given the facilities in the hotel. But the breakfast baps did turn out to be a little disappointing. Location next to an ember inn added to the convenience of the hotel and provided an excellent option for an evening meal. To sum up we would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel again.

The breakfast bap was the only disappointing aspect of our stay.

It had loads of parking, good staff, good location for our visit, nearby restaurants, takeaways and grocery stores in either direction, a pub right next to it - though it was under renovation by the time we came back near the end of our stay. Plenty of extra space in our room on the top floor and a chaise to lounge on. Reasonable prices and checkout policies - we were able to pay a small fee so that we could stay in the room a little longer avoiding a long wait at the airport.

It was quite warm in the rooms when we stayed there in early July and we couldn't get it to cool down. Wished there was an ice machine or equivalent.

Friendliness of the staff. .. nothing was too much effort! Great value breakfast, location - plenty eateries near and good variety. Staff seemed happy at their jobs. Good relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant stay. Made to feel welcome. Having a fan in the room was a super and considerate and welcome addition. Very well ran and organised. The staff are an asset to the manager.

Could do with better guidance on HOW to get public transport to the hotel. The number 406 Transport London bus runs from directly outside the hotel in BOTH directions from both Epsom and Kingston high streets. This is a fantastic asset as both are large towns with excellent onward travel links and nice areas to spend a day. This useful bus link makes the hotel easy to get to but I think it's closer to Kingston, not Epsom. We are not from London and had no idea HOW to pay for the bus... One person can only pay for themselves, so all people in the group need to have a bank card. NO complaints about the hotel.

The greeting from Hava set me at rest as I rarely travel on my own. She was so kind,friendly and professional. The room was large and so clean,lots of towels too ! I slept so well. Oh the shower was hot and powerful too. I came from Dorset and was surprised at the engagement! It was very near the venue I was visiting too,so perfect location. I did have the "breakfast" bacon bap ,cereal bar and a lovely coffee ,brought to my room. ALL your team were so friendly and kind.it made a pleasant change .thank you !

It was clean and tidy, staff were good the beds were comfy, decent TV, shower in the bath was powerful. if you want a Basic, good value for money (near London central) then it's perfectly fine. Stoneleigh train station is 10 minutes walk , direct line to Waterloo.

The hotel is tucked behind a pub. The pub was being renovated at the time of our stay so on arrival it was not the most inviting of places. We took our two young children for a weekend to see family and the family room really is just a double room with the settee and pull out bed made up. If you want a cheap hotel near London for a weekend then it's perfect , would not recommend taking the family room scenario. Short stay business or couples is perfectly acceptable

We booked up for a family wedding and got a great deal for the 2 nights we stayed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was nice and big also nice and clean. No hot breakfast but did have the option for the grab and go one which we didn't use. Shower very nice and the hubby loved the bath. The pub next door also very nice very convenient to have on your door step

Furniture abit dated and could do with updating which suprised me as it had been closed for renovations im guessing the furniture didn't get replaced as some of the fabric on the bed frame and soft bed was wearing away and you could see the wood work, not enough sockets in the room

The lady behind the desk on the evening on the 15th was delightful and couldn't do enough to help. The bed was super-comfy. The room was exceptionally clean and it was deliciously quiet. I enjoyed having the window open on the top floor too.

The only 2 things I didn't like were: There was a vague smell in the toilet (room 23). And there were no plug outlets available near the bed. Also those that were available over the desk were too low for a bottom-fed charger, such as my own. Other than that it was the perfect stop-over for my requirements. One other thing that is not something you can help, but when I tried to pull onto the road the next morning, all the people gathered at the bus stop completely blocked my view of the traffic and it was very difficult to get out. Regarding your bonus question: Reasons for travelling, I was there because of a family member needing medical care at St. Anthony's. You may want to add 'Other' to your list!
