Staff were really attentive, we had an issue with our room and they came out to us straight away, couldn't resolve it on the day so moved our room for us. Breakfast was great, cooked options were really well done and the continental was fresh with lots of options. Free water bottle refills as well. Location was amazing for the hydro but also for the museums and right near a bus stop straight into the middle of Glasgow (X19) Bar area nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. Nice little "shop" for snacks and drinks in reception as well. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

The rooms are a little dated but the hotel is due a refurb next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the Campanile Hotel, we couldn’t ask for anything better, it was close to the OVO Hydro in which was prefect, just a shame our show got cancelled when we arrived. The staff was so friendly and was happy to gives us walking directions to get into the city to make the most of our stay. Breakfast was lovely could not fault, but did take a while to come out to us, but it was hot and cooked just the way we liked it. The shower in our bathroom was fantastic, me and my partner loves a power shower and this was prefect and was always hot. We just want to thank all the staff working the weekend of the 31st August -2nd September 2023, for making our stay comfortable even when our trip didn’t go quite to plan.

The bed mattress and pillows were a little hard which made it a little uncomfortable, but that’s just our preference. But otherwise could not fault for the price we payed.

Good transport links, via Glasgow Subway, to main city centre. Walking distance to few large exhibition areas and OVO Hydro which has many concerts+ on. Breakfast was delicious. Some snack foods, soft drinks and sandwich are available in reception, useful for later or hungry arrivals.

They get quite full so couldn't stay as long as I'd have liked. Few more vegetarian choices (breakfast was on request) for lunch and dinner. Also only one choice in sandwiches in reception. Some traffic noise, partly from hotel close by.

Excellent location, friendly staff who were happy to assist and knowledgeable. Value for money and a great place to get your head down for the night. Very comfy. Really liked that the concierge validated the car for the whole day of our departure so we didn't have to rush in the morning and could wander around a bit more before departing. Considering a number of relatively poor reviews online, I was happy with our stay. Good touch they were playing Peter Gabriel tunes in the reception on the evening of the PG gig: thoughtful and tailored to the guest experience.

Difficult to fill up kettle from bathroom tap. Bathroom wasn't in the best condition, bits of mould in silicone sealing, for example and shower head difficult to position. But for the purposes of our stay this wasn't a big issue.

Beds were comfy and clean rooms. Staff were friendly and did whatever they could to please customers

Not enough staff to cope and handle the amount of customers in the dining area. Some people were waiting too long for food and 2 people were trying to multi task being at the bar serving drinks and serving food and helping out in the reception area. If there was even more people staying then they would not have coped and subsequently there would have been more frustrated and annoyed customers.1 young guy had only just started that night so a girl was training him and running round trying to do everything. She was doing a marvellous job catering for eveybodys needs but I could see that more staff would help the guys that were running around would help take the pressure off them.

property was clean and had everything you needed including it’s own little boutique in reception along with free parking.

we feel the restaurant let’s it down. we were £50 on the first evening for dinner, the menu is very limited and some of the portions are small eg the ‘portion of garlic bread’ costing £3.50 is only 2 pieces of garlic baguette. also at breakfast there was no menu but kids under 5 eat free so is a bonus. the rotunda across the road is great for food though! if you require darkness to sleep, bring a blanket to cover the window, the curtains let in a lot of light that it can affect sleep. we would return, it’s just what we have learned.

Meals were very good. The hotel was excellent for the concert at OVO Hydro. Also on check out we realised that we would have a very very long wait for a taxi back to the Bus Station due to the Glasgow Marathon. However we are extremely grateful to the Manager and his dedicated team who went out of their way to ensure we were transported to the Bus Station in order to catch our bus home in time. Please thank the Manager and all staff for a very enjoyable weekend. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you once again.

Only one disappointment, there were no toiletries in the Bathroom.

The location is excellent as I went to a concert in the OVO Hydro Arena. I had previously had an overnight stay with The Campanile Hotel last December for the same reason, so I didn't hesitate to book when I had another concert to go to. Although I ideally wanted a twin room, all that was available was a double room which I booked as I was accompanied by my mother and we didn't mind sharing a bed. It cost more, but it was still ideal for going to the OVO. On arrival, it was a little disappointing to find the room also had a single bed, therefore a family room and this was obviously why it cost around £20 more than I had to pay for a twin room last year. The bathroom was adequate and the provided soap and shower gel/shampoo is lovely. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and approachable and the breakfast is excellent! The room and hotel are very clean and the two lifts are really handy.

The information not being clear it was a family room, rather than just a double. If I had known when booking, it would have explained why it cost quite a bit more than a twin or double room would.

For anybody coming to a gig at The Hydro this is perfect. 5 mins after leaving the gig I was in the hotel. After a great night, all that's needed is a bar and a bed and if only for this reason, this is all you need....location,location,location! When every other hotel in Glasgow is cashing in and asking stupid money for a one nighter when theres a gig on(travelodge £199 for example) this hotel bucks the trend and keeps their prices reasonable for a major city.

No complaints, nothing too much for front of house staff. Taxi ordered and arrived within 5 mins of request.

Everything. The location is great, easy access to town; right next to SECC and armadillo and the West End is just along the road. I had heard poor things about the hotel but it was within my price range and I saw it as "just a bed for the night". But it was so much better than that. The room was so clean and had all I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Nothing to complain about in the room at all. I got Room 1 as I have mobility issues, and the staff couldn't be nicer. The bar staff was helpful and the bar was clean and relaxing. The only thing I would comment on negatively is being given a bit more guidance with breakfast... I didn't know where the toaster was or sauces. But the food was nice. The best part was the fantastic, powerful shower!

Being left to figure out breakfast by self. Being told where things were would have been helpful.
