Very friendly staff, room was large with a nice comfy bed, bathroom was good with a nice shower. Great location on the high street, with parking at the back through the archway. Continental breakfast was plentiful, toast with lots of butter, jams and marmalade, yogurts and fresh fruit, the coffee was good too. We asked if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 8:30, the staff were very happy to do that. The bar below was a bit noisy, plus on the Saturday night there was a live rock band, so if you need your sleep I would check with the hotel to see if there is a band on the dates you want to stay.

Great traditional inn. Bar lively but we were not disturbed in our room. Good Staff, efficient and friendly landlady and also the patrons in the bar were all friendly. Room was a double, spacious, clean, comfortable. Pretty curtains and bedding. Innerleithen is a lovely town with interesting shops and restaurants. We ate at the Indian restaurant and it was delicious. Traquair House is incredible and must be visited🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Not so keen of the brown towels. Noisy pipes/boiler? during the night. Would defo stay here again though.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming Ideal spot right in the middle of all the bike trails. Rooms were nice and clean Nice beer garden outside full of wildlife👍 It's right in the middle of the town so plenty of places just outside the door to eat out. Plenty of parking space out the back. Decent size rooms. Pub downstairs was lively with plenty of drink choices behind the bar👍 Pool table and darts👍 Breakfast time was always served with a happy presence and smile👍

The shower on first look, looked amazing, but it wasn't the best. The water pressure was really low, so the water just came out of the shower head. The toilet broke within the first hour after checking in. And there was a really bad smell coming from the toilet that made the whole room stink throughout our stay. Also, I didn't like that the bike lock up is actually the celler for the pub. Where all the pub stock and beer barrels are kept. And was easily accessible to anyone via the smoking area. And the doors to the celler were left open at times.

Location was perfect for our planned overnight stay. Staff and facilities were great, they helped us a lot with storage area for bikes and even kept them longer for us after we'd checked out the room so we could explore local area on foot before leaving.

Slight sticking of bathroom door - so every time you opened / closed it was noisy and challenging. Shower pressure slightly low.

We only stayed 1 night traveling up from Oxfordshire to watch UCI World Champs Mountain Bike Marathon finish Glentress and start at the end in the village Carpark pick up for cycling was just down the road from this hotel The welcome was warm ,friendly some locals regulars assisted in finding the Carpark , Owner was helpful and kind ,room immaculately clean ,homely and basic You had what you needed with no fuss or bother ,en-suite shower toilet very good and clean . Had a drink in bar in the evening The fella behind the bar was a riot ,had us and the locals laughing all night ..fair warning you will be in no doubt your in Scotland and near Glasgow so if easily offended and snowflake avoid . If you want a simple ,homely Scottish experience then “ nay bother “

Due to length of travel and arrival time we contacted all multi stays we booked to confirm that booking was still ok and arrival time if caught in traffic A storm was predicted and we did nt want any issues if traffic delayed It took a couple emails to confirm and response which could be looked at , but when we got there we kind of understood that they probably not addicted to phones and emails as most are Absolutely no take aways allowed in rooms ( again when we got there understood) ,but perhaps a warning about complete lack of food choice ,takeaways ,shops for eating in village so people can eat before arrival on first night .Fortunately we ate at Motorway services just incase .

The breakfast was good-I didn’t expect at that price there would be one but a good range of self service items with warm toast milk and tea great. Room was perfect and much better than the photos - and shower room perfect. Beds really best quality and so comfy.

It was a wee bit noisy ( we were above the bar) but we went down the second night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with great bar staff. So in the end the noise for us was ok. However the WiFi wasn’t very good but we weren’t staying for more than 2 nights at a time and it’s just that with my phone deal my phone would’ve be charging me when I went and over the limit ( very cheap plan) My husband and daughter were fine as they had unlimited and I just used their hotspot. The lack of plug spots for the kettle was a wee bit annoying - but great range and amount of tea and coffee and biscuits.

Great staff, very welcoming. Great location, bang in the middle of Innerleithen. They are more than happy to secure MTBs for you.

The breakfast was sufficient just wish there was some cooked options other than toast. That said there was more than enough there to fill you up for a days riding.

I basically only slept in the hotel. I was taking part in a competition a few miles away on Friday,Saturday and Sunday. However, the room was comfortable for my needs and all the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

I didn’t spend long enough in the hotel to judge on that.In the time I was there, there was nothing I disliked about the hotel.

Good location in centre of village. Plentiful take-aways very close by. We ate the best pizza, in the pub's beer garden. A nice cold buffet breakfast was provided, with lots of choice of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, preserves, yogurt etc.
