Very central and walking distance to town Room very comfortable

Car parking, not great for large vehicles. Signs to tell you this when entering the car park also. If you have a large car I’d suggest to park elsewhere.

Perfect location to the city and easy to find if your new to the city. The hotel reception was spotless and beautiful and the rooms were very clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, excellent variety of good quality food right up until they stopped serving. Staff were very helpful and friendly too which added to a perfect stay!

The only issue for me was the carpark, it’s very tight and would not recommend if you drive a longer car, although this was clearly signed before entering the car park, the ramps in there were extremely narrow. However there were ample spaces with direct access to the hotel.

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We stayed over night for an awards ceremony. The venue was nice and the food was okay, a little bland for my taste but that's personal preference. Was cooked well and nicely presented. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

The price of the drinks was little over the top. I overheard one table order 16 shots for over £100. I was visiting the Hilton with my sister in law and our round of 2 drinks was £20 each time. That was a glass of wine and a single vodka and coke. The Honours awards does enable you to get a discount but it seemed to be at the server's discretion, which I found odd too. There also wasn't a hair dryer in our room o either and I thought there may have been a fridge too but there wasn't.

I loved the location of the property and how clean and spacious the room was.

The parking is ridiculous. I have an SUV and the space you have to get up and down the floors (especially the last one towards the exit) is tiny. I think I still would have struggled with a smaller car… the parking does definitely need to be sorted. If I were to stay at this hotel again, I would much rather pay for parking elsewhere (which is cheaper) and walk to the hotel, knowing that I am able to drive in and out of that parking without the struggle or stress.

Fantastic location. Hotel reception and bar is very modern. Staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was 5 star!

The room itself could do with a refresh. Bathroom is absolutely fine and pretty modern, but the furniture in the room is a little outdated. Pillows were my biggest issue - my head completely sunk into them, they need a firm option. Small thing, but there’s no plug on both sides of the bed. So strange and feels like a basic expectation. Also doesn’t matter to everyone, but modern hotels now have smart TVs, especially if you plan to spend some time in your room. It makes a little bit of a difference.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful at the desk. The location was great for us and the lift from the cat park straight into the room was great as we had a lot of luggage.

We chose a delux room and we didn't really see that much difference. The pillows on the bed were awful so we had a bad night sleep. We were told by reception that we could just walk in breakfast in the morning and they didn't mention it would be £5 more, we would have booked if we knew that. They said it was in the written material but I had no time to read that. They could have mentioned it when I asked about it.

The hotel was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly. Only a short walk into the town so the location was also very good. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size with a super king bed (website had only stated a double)

The hotel wasn't very warm in any of the areas, we had to put the temperature up to maximum in the bedroom, however I don't think the thermostat was correct as the room wasn't 30 degrees like the reading said. (I usually think anywhere between 16 and 20 degrees is warm enough) Although the breakfast tasted great and there was more than enough to choose from the cooked breakfast wasn't very warm despite being under heat lamps. I think the cast iron pots with lids stopped the overhead heating keeping the food warm.

We stayed here for one night for a wedding and would stay here again. We were offered early check in upon arrival because the room was ready, and we were upgraded free of charge to a suite, which was a lovely surprise! The suite was quite spacious and the bed was super comfy. We didn't hear any noise through the night and slept well. TV in both the bedroom and the living area. Nice bathroom. Appreciated the hair dryer. The car was safe overnight in the car park.

There are lots of hidden charges e.g. the parking (£18 per night) and early check in (which we weren't charged thankfully). We didn't get breakfast as it was expensive at £15pp. The car park is very tight to go down the ramp to the exit! Put your sensors on 🤣 Our shower was leaking, we advised staff upon checkout and they said they will send an engineer to fix it.

Friendly staff.Clean room.

Booking .com payment which failed to work three times so we had to wait until we got to the hotel to pay and had the risk that the room then wouldn’t be available. Staff working at the breakfast service not having good knowledge on which foods they were serving were gluten free. Also didn’t like the BO smell that was coming from the gym in the entrance and in the lifts. Not pleasant.

Closeness to station. Ease of access by foot.

I was travelling with my son, we had booked a twin room. All twin rooms are adjoining rooms, so with compromised sound proofing. There was a party going on next door to us, which even at 7.30 was very audible. I asked to be moved to a non-adjoining room. There were none, so we were offered a Premier Suite instead! Extremely happy with the alternative offered along with drinks vouchers for our trouble!
