We loved the location and apartment was bigger as we thought. Everything was basically new including bathroom. European faucets are great too! Lovely view from 5th floor. Could be used as a balcony easy!
Can’t say anything particularly bad. Just sofa-bed needs def replacement. We were satisfied overall.

Excellent surprise since the place was rather new and we didn't expect anything in particular. The place is clean and neat, great location (nice neighbourhood and easy access to public transport), very friendly staff, nice amenities in the rooms. Management of the group (we were 16, in 5 different rooms) was smart and efficient. Good and useful advice from the staff re. restaurants nearby.
A couple of hooks in the bathroom to suspend a robe or a towel would be useful, and maybe also in the room as coat hangers. The heating seemed to be impossible to turn on in a couple of the rooms, although the temperature outside made it not absolutely necessary. A short explanation or notice on how to turn it on would be easy to provide and highly appreciated. For groups like us, a common room to meet and have a drink or a shared breakfast would have been nice but it is not a necessity at all.

The room was very spacious for the area, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the a/c worked well, the kitchenette had a microwave, fridge, and even a toaster. Our view from the 4th floor was quite good too. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We can definitely see ourselves coming back!

Reading the reviews made me nervous about the hotel itself, the location and so much more. But I actually loved the area. It was close to the city centre, great train and bus connection and there was everything you need in walking distance (up to 500 meters), including little shops that were open all night (with incredibly nice people). Everyone we met there was really nice and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and pretty much had everything we needed including a little fridge, tea, some water and even some biscuits. It is a serviced apartment so unlike a hotel your bed won’t be made, but that didn’t bother us. We got fresh towels and extra toilet paper and basic cleaning was done. But now the part that is definitely gonna make us return. The staff, specifically Kash. Literally made sure we had everything we need, asked us daily if everything was alright, and pretty much solved every problem we had on top of being one of the nicest people i have ever met. His service was exceptional and we’ll definitely return soon!
The only problem was not being able to open the window, so next time i’d try to book a room with a terrace, but that’s all!

Both the guys working there who I interacted with were really lovely and helpful! The flat itself is very spacious, well maintained, bed super comfortable and really quiet at night.
Arrived at 9:30pm and didn't feel safe at all walking a few metres to get some food... wouldn't recommend for women on their own! During the day seems fine. Whitechapel isn't the best!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, only a short 5-10 minute walk from Whitechapel station. Despite the central location, it was very quiet within the hotel and the specific room I stayed in had a window that didn't overlook a street so there was even some privacy. The shower was also excellent, which was well-appreciated since I stayed during a heatwave.
No mini-fridge in the room to keep drinks cool and I couldn't seem to control the temperature of the AC. The air vent was down the hallway so I couldn't really feel it from the bed, which would have been nice during the heatwave. There's also only one lift for the whole hotel but as it's not a huge place I never had to wait too long for it.

The staff were exceptional. We had an issue with the room and the staff sorted it out for us with no issues. The location is superb as it’s a walk to Tower of London and two train stations. I read the reviews about the area feeling unsafe, which was true on the first day. However after staying for a few days we realised it’s just graffitied and dirty, but the area is quite safe. We walked around at night and felt no less safe than any other big city. The family room with two double beds was nice but a little tight getting around the beds. I’d recommend staying in the family suite as it was larger. I’d stay here if I came back to London 😊

Aptel east was perfect for us, room was spotless, comfortable and the staff were very polite/ helpful and you get 10% off in their coffee shop next door. Not far from the tube stations/ bus stops/ shops and fast food places all up/down the street. We travelled down for a concert in Hyde park and this accommodation was perfect.
The street looks pretty run down but everyone was sound and polite. The tube stations close at 10pm on a sunday which caught us out but the central line remains open and an uber was minimal to aptel east. Obviously, this shouldn't put you off booking as the apartment was lovely and ideal..just information to plan ahead for a sunday concert.

Everything. The location was perfect, not too in the centre but not too far away, easy and quick access to all the spots we wanted to visit (personally, I recommend the Aldgate East station rather than Whitechapel, if you’re catching the tube) and it’s also a feasible walking distance from Spitalfields, if you want to go check out the market. The neighbourhood is quiet and nice, and there are plenty of shops around for your groceries. The apartment itself was fantastic: small but cozy, very clean, comfortable bed and got everything you might need. The staff was extremely nice and the check-in/check-out process was also easy and quick.
Nothing!

Newly refurbished, tasteful decor, clean, fresh bedlinen, tiled floors and hallways in great condition. Room had a small kitchenette no cooker but had microwave, sink kettle not something I require but someone else might especially if staying a couple of nights. Had walked past the building as the front door is snuggled between many shops on this busy commercial street. I was a woman travelling on my own for an event in the area and felt safe from the moment I stepped inside, was greeted by a friendly young woman and her coworker who was being trained. A lovely young lad was there for the night into morning. Tubes either side about 10 mins walk either side.Excellent value for money.
Nothing had read other reviews so was aware not to negatively judge building from the outside its a joy inside.
