This hotel truly exceeded all expectations i could've ever had. My husband booked this hotel for us as surprise trip for my birthday. When we arrived at the hotel the staff greeted us very warmly and when we got to our room we noticed that they had hand written (!!!) me this incredibly lovely birthday card and gifted me some hand made chocolates <3 the breakfast was the best breakfast i've had in years and i travel a lot. Perfect poached eggs!! The staff was so lovely i can't even put it to words. Every encounter (especially this one man in a suit at the breakfast) was so genuine and warm it instantly made my day. The hotel is located in a calm neighbourhood and it was lovely to return there to rest after a busy day of exploring the city. There's a few different underground stations nearby so you can still easily travel anywhere you like in the city. Everything was also really clean (and i'm hard to please when it comes to clean..). The common areas were super clean and always smelled nice and our room was incredibly clean when we arrived. I truly recommend this hotel from the bottom of my heart to everyone coming to London. They made our stay 100% better ❤️

Starting with the check in experience, everything was smooth, super friendly and flawless. The location of the hotel is great. Directly near the bank of england and great bars and pubs. 5-10 minutes to stations like the bank station or moorgate etc. Marta at the reception was super friendly and helpfull all the time. The other staff, the night staff or the staff at the bar were also kind and helpfull. Everything we requested got answred promptly. We were on the 6th floor and our room included a balcony. The room was huge. The bathroom even bigger. With a jakuzi and a large mirror perfect for 2 people. I stayed with my friend and we were enchanted. The bed, the interior design of the room, the details, the little gifts. A capsule modern coffee machine with a selection of capsules. Tea, popcorm, little snacks like butter cookies. A great desk with a mirror designed like a make up table. A couch right in front of the tv. The bed was huge as well. Soft pillows, the smell of hygiene everywhere. We loved everything and every evening we were so happy to return to our room we didnt want to leave it. The check in experience was smooth and the check out also. What is very important for travellers is that we were able to leave our luggage before the check in and after! Our flight was late night but we wanted to explore the city more and we were able to leave our luggage and came later to pick it up that day. Talk about comfort! The hotel really does everything to keep you happy. We will be staying at Clayton in all our other stays in London. Thank you Marta and all the other staff. Loved loved loved it.

I can't fault the experience we had at the hotel, a great location not too far of a journey from King's Cross via the tube and in a relatively quiet area despite being right in the city, there was no noise pollution at all. Really great facilities, spacious room, high-quality extras by way of toiletries and refreshments in the room. We were given a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch, a really smooth check in online and welcoming staff on the front desk. The breakfast service is what we were most impressed with, Bianca and Elaina (so sorry if I've spelt names incorrectly!) were so attentive, they were clearly working really hard but really well as a team, and just observing their interactions with guests showed what lovely ladies they both were. Overall, I'd say excellent value for money given the quality of service, the breakfast was wonderful and I genuinely had two excellent nights sleep, the bed was so comfortable. Lovely spacious bathroom, without doubt the best stay I've had in London amongst the many times I have been there. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing, was the Mrs bday, took her here for 2 nights, location fantastic, price was decent, we went for the deluxe balcony, then opted for the “secret room upgrade” with banners etc. they then upgraded us (£80) to the junior suite with balcony, perfect for what we needed it for) staff was amazing, the restraint is crazy expensive I can’t lie that was the only downfall, (gin and lemonade x2 (£39) but what’s expected when you go away really. Overall couldn’t fault it, parking is a little nightmare as you have to go about 10min walk away to park up, if your loading luggage back then that’s the only downfall, please everyone give this place a try. You won’t regret it. We will b back (110 miles each way we traveled)

The hotel staff were very friendly and were very happy to accommodate our requirements. Upon arrival we were given 2 vouchers for a free drink at the bar. The room was clean, comfortable, a good size and well-equipped (tea/coffee, sockets near bed, flat screen tv, telephone, safety deposit box) The bed was very comfortable and we were given the extra pillows requested. The bathroom with shower were clean and also well-equipped with toiletries The hotel was within walking distance from business venue, which was great. Breakfast was great! A big thank you to the maintenance guy, who helped us work out the tv and also help us open 1 of our suitcases, where the lock was jammed (:

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything about my experience was perfect. The location is ideal, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. My room was not only comfortable but also spotless, which added to my overall relaxation. The breakfast was a highlight—it was delicious and had a great variety of options to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of the most memorable moments was the thoughtful gesture for my birthday—it truly made my stay extra special and showed how much they value their guests. I’m so glad I chose this hotel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. I look forward to coming back!

Nothing to say, everything was perfect !

The room I first walked into was unfortunately extremely noisy as the generator was just outside the window. However it was very easy and seamless to change luckily. The staff took care of me immediately, apologised and took me to another room that was much quieter. Very happy with the service provided.

I ordered the overnight oats muesli for breakfast, but found it much too sweet for my taste, and wasn't able to eat it. However again, the staff was very helpful and I ate toast instead.

The staff so friendly, PJ on the reception and the lady who seated us for breakfast every morning, were amazing. We paid for a secret upgrade to our room i think it was £40 (booked a city room) and got upgraded about 3 standards higher, it was beautiful. Complimentary goodies in the room, kitkats popcorn ect. Had iron and ironing board, hair dryer, robes and slippers. The hotel is abit tucked away but perfect location to both liverpool and bank train stations.

Close to shops

For more than 400.-/night you would have expected at least some sort of view. However the room faced others so that meant keeping the shades at all times for privacy, therefore no light during the day. There was also a fan or similar installed outside on the building, which could be heard from inside the room even with windows closed. Seeing I requested a quiet room to be able to get some rest, this made me drop some points..the shower also overflows into the bathroom.

Room was excellent - good beds and linen - very clean and well serviced. Breakfast we paid for in advance, not a buffet - you simply choose from the menu anythign you like and its included - way better quality and staff in the resteraunt were fantastic. Very nice touch on Easter Sunday a couple of Easter eggsa were elft by the housecleaning team :) GOod location close to Liverpool St and Moorgate stations and close to buses
