Very good location, private balcony, friendly staff. I had my own toilet and shower in the room. Room is extremely compact but was fine for me as I woke up early in the morning went for sightseeing and arrived back in the evening. Read carefully the description they are transparent about everything.
Description about room was fair enough so I can't complaine about the size, etc. Washbasin indeed very small. Rooms would need some renovation. I know it's "cheap" but still. Wouldn't call it a hotel, more of an accommodation.

I never felt more welcomed in London than here. Very friendly staff and more than willing to help your stay be better. The room had everything I needed and was clean. Don't expect normal sized rooms.;This is London and a budget hotel so tiny room it is. My room also had a small balcony. Just enough to step room to step outside. That was a nice surprise with the heat of the summer. You could leave your bags at check-out. Great WiFi. Also a nice touch was the computer you could use for your travel information and stuff. I didn't use it but it was a nice gesture that you can
Low shower pressure. The room had a slight slope. Therefor in bed it was noticeable when I tossed and turned. Took a bit away from the comfort but definitely not enough to be uncomfortable.

It’s very close to Paddington Station and also walking distance to many attractions. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants nearby and they’re open late. Beds are comfortable. Shower is nice. The receptionist with the wonderful British accent is so helpful, kind and friendly. Although the place is very central, it is quiet and peaceful. The view was also very nice. There’s drinking water in the entrance.
It would be better with soap. There was none. The receptionist lady said there was shampoo and shower gel which could be used :/

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are homely and the bed was comfortable. View was great of the park across the road. The bathroom is small but no issue at all. Toilet is in a separate room but not far at all. Toilet is in a small room, but again no issue. Great place for solo female travel in my opinion. Felt very safe. Staff was super nice and helpful. Location is great! Tubes and buses just down the street. The restaurants and shops nearby are great. This place is located in a very good location l. Would stay again.

A great stay in the smallest single room I've ever been in. Barely two steps in either direction but still comfortable. One block from Paddington Station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. On a quiet side street. I was able to sleep with the window open, which is always a plus. A great rate for the area.
There's no lift but I knew that when I booked. My room was on the top 4th floor, which made for quite a journey up many stairs, but the front desk clerk helped with my bags and that was greatly appreciated. The bathroom is really tight but manageable for an average sized person.

Very close to Paddington train/metro, very close to numerous bus lines, around the corner from Big Bus Hop On Hop Off stop 39. Very close to corner shops/grocery and lots of restaurants and pubs. Room very clean, a little small for twin with 2 suitcases but we managed. Fan was provided when asked for as no air con as being very old terrace houses. Bathroom a little squeezy but okay for mum (81) and I (55) for a week. Water pressure great and shower temperature awesome as did not run hot/cold like many we had had around Europe. Had kettle and tea/coffee facilities in room and spares could be picked up anytime near reception. Even though room not serviced daily (they advised us of this when we got there) all we had to do was to leave rubbish bag and towels we wanted changed outside door of a morning. As we stayed for 7 days the sheets were changed day 4 when we asked. Lighting in room was great and bathroom had a fan. Opposite a little park area and in a very quiet street, our room faced onto the street and we slept with the window open every night with no issues. All staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Room not serviced daily so need to ask for toilet paper during the day before you run out at night. More an inconvenience than a dislike though. We were on bottom floor so did not need to go up floors but there are no elevator/lifts.

Very nice and clean hotel with above-standard service and very kind host. We appreciated a clean and EU-standard bathroom (yes, there are water faucets :). Also the area is excellent for London visit - near Paddington (from where you can easily travel by tube anywhere or simply walk - very near to the important places). The area is full of shops, restaurants and pubs, yet the alley the hotel is in is very quiet. Good for families.

The property was old and very pleasant and tastefully decorated to brighten it up. I however wish I had requested a ground floor room because my husband has mobility problems.
I wasn’t sure about the exterior private toilet, although I should’ve double checked before booking, an en-suite would have been better for us. Breakfast would’ve been nice given the price. A bit noisy at night time (outside mainly), a police helicopter was particularly noisy for a good part of one night, and a repeatedly noisy car alarm on another (earplugs helped with that).

The location close to Paddington station made traveling around the city very easy. Plenty of great restaurants & bars in walking distance. The staff was friendly, helpful and very attentive to our every need. I would definitely stay here again.
No elevator in the building but the staff was happy to help with carrying baggage up the stairs which was appreciated. Extra space in the room was limited but most of our time was spent out in the city so that was not an issue.

The hotel was in an excellent location, clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. It was good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They truly couldn't do enough to make our stay better.
No elevator, walk up the flights of stairs could be tough at the end of a sightseeing day. Bathroom sink was very small, had to be creative on how to use effectively.
