Our 'Petite' room was comfortable, very clean and had air conditioning. The bathroom was truly tiny but had a good shower with beautiful toiletries and towels. Location was great, very close to the tube and good shops/restaurants.

We didn't dislike anything - we knew we were booking a 'Petite' room and that's what we got. A bigger bathroom would have been better and when we return, we'll book a bigger room.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is small and cozy. The surroundings are exceptional, very safe area with plenty of restaurants, coffee places and metro stop 5 mins away

One day of my stay they didn't change the bed sheets for some reasons

The shower didn't have any sort of cold water and we were there on a very hot day. It would've been a great shower any other time of the year

Mostly the staff. They couldn’t accommodate more, as well as being super friendly and professional. Went above and beyond their job role and couldn’t thank them enough for making our stay so special. We picked the petite room as we didn’t think we needed much space due to not being there much and was happy with the size. Bar, hallway and room was absolutely beautiful, so unique. Very happy with our stay.

The only downside I would say would be the hotel isn’t as big as shown in the pictures. The only rooms that you could go in to was the hall to the rooms, the room itself and the bar. Not exactly what is shown on the pictures. Unsure if this is due to renovations or a permanent thing, but I would suggest updating the pictures regardless to prevent future customers being disappointed. If it is renovations put the pictures back on when completed.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, super cozy and colorful. The bed was very comfortable, high quality toiletries, complimentary tea, coffee and water in the room with a small bottle of milk by side. The staff absolutely exceptional! Very friendly, helpful, caring. (Especially huge thanks for Hanad (hope that did not mistype)). As a solo traveler I felt very safe by staying at Hux Hotel. Very good location, near the bus stop, Kensington park right on other side of street, many nice restaurants and shops around, many good locations like Notting Hill and museum district by walkable distance. I do love London and during my next trip I already know where I am going back for stay!

If you like boutique hotels with a funky bar and lobby vibe in a great location (Kensington), this is the place to stay! The rooms are small, but are designed so efficiently and thought out, you don’t even notice. The bed and shower are a DREAM and being in London during the summer, the air conditioning was a lovely luxury. Staff is great, bar is fun, and the decor is funky and edgy. Rooms are clean. The location in Kensington is perfect for a walk in the Kensington gardens, the underground tube, and has many restaurants and food shopping nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The hotel is thoroughly recommended, reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, with a great shower , comfortable (small but adequate) room. The complimentary cocktails were delicious and the staff courteous and professional. The no. 9 bus is opposite the hotel and takes you to Trafalgar Square, close to Leicester Square, Covent Garden and the theatres. High Street Kensington Tube is less than a 10 minute walk on the same side of the road. The HUX hotel is an experience in itself with the Spaghetti House next door serving quality food and Cote restaurant( 3 minutes away) serving breakfasts from 9am - as hotel doesn’t provide breakfasts

Extremely well located, across from Hyde Park with plenty of public transportation options (both the Tube and bus options) as well as black cabs. Plenty of eateries and convenience shops nearby. I felt extremely safe. The rooms were stylish and the room descriptions were accurate. As a single traveler, I booked the petite room. It it would have been nice to have a bit more space, however, it was adequate for my purpose as a tourist to the city.

The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. While it was not necessary for me, I note that there was no in-room safe to keep valuables.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated having a private balcony with a table, which made my stay even more relaxing. Although the apartment looked slightly different from the photos on the website, everything was still well-maintained and pleasant, so it did not affect my experience. I would also like to highlight the receptionist who escorted me to the apartment – he was polite, helpful, and had such a great vibe. The only minor drawback was that I could not find any slippers in the room. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

I loved the bohemian-chic colorful quirky decor, nice details like coffee machine and real milk provided, luxury toiletries, great bed and great shower, lots of plugs and everything modern and clean, kind and friendly staff, and Kensington Gardens right outside the door. I also appreciated the fact that the stuffed wild animals (giraffe, lion etc.) on display died natural deaths (according to a sign) and weren't murdered to make furniture.

I would have liked a real closet, a place to put my suitcase and a makeup mirror. And a slightly bigger room. And I was surprised by the 20 per cent service charge added to my bill. It was not mentioned when I booked, nor did the final bill indicate this was an optional charge, as I was told when I called to inquire. I ended up paying it anyway because the personnel really is good, but I deplore this nasty American tipping custom.
