Mostly the staff. They couldn’t accommodate more, as well as being super friendly and professional. Went above and beyond their job role and couldn’t thank them enough for making our stay so special. We picked the petite room as we didn’t think we needed much space due to not being there much and was happy with the size. Bar, hallway and room was absolutely beautiful, so unique. Very happy with our stay.

The only downside I would say would be the hotel isn’t as big as shown in the pictures. The only rooms that you could go in to was the hall to the rooms, the room itself and the bar. Not exactly what is shown on the pictures. Unsure if this is due to renovations or a permanent thing, but I would suggest updating the pictures regardless to prevent future customers being disappointed. If it is renovations put the pictures back on when completed.

Wonderful hotel! Clean, super cozy and colorful. The bed was very comfortable, high quality toiletries, complimentary tea, coffee and water in the room with a small bottle of milk by side. The staff absolutely exceptional! Very friendly, helpful, caring. (Especially huge thanks for Hanad (hope that did not mistype)). As a solo traveler I felt very safe by staying at Hux Hotel. Very good location, near the bus stop, Kensington park right on other side of street, many nice restaurants and shops around, many good locations like Notting Hill and museum district by walkable distance. I do love London and during my next trip I already know where I am going back for stay!

The hotel is thoroughly recommended, reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, with a great shower , comfortable (small but adequate) room. The complimentary cocktails were delicious and the staff courteous and professional. The no. 9 bus is opposite the hotel and takes you to Trafalgar Square, close to Leicester Square, Covent Garden and the theatres. High Street Kensington Tube is less than a 10 minute walk on the same side of the road. The HUX hotel is an experience in itself with the Spaghetti House next door serving quality food and Cote restaurant( 3 minutes away) serving breakfasts from 9am - as hotel doesn’t provide breakfasts

Extremely well located, across from Hyde Park with plenty of public transportation options (both the Tube and bus options) as well as black cabs. Plenty of eateries and convenience shops nearby. I felt extremely safe. The rooms were stylish and the room descriptions were accurate. As a single traveler, I booked the petite room. It it would have been nice to have a bit more space, however, it was adequate for my purpose as a tourist to the city.

The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. While it was not necessary for me, I note that there was no in-room safe to keep valuables.

I loved the bohemian-chic colorful quirky decor, nice details like coffee machine and real milk provided, luxury toiletries, great bed and great shower, lots of plugs and everything modern and clean, kind and friendly staff, and Kensington Gardens right outside the door. I also appreciated the fact that the stuffed wild animals (giraffe, lion etc.) on display died natural deaths (according to a sign) and weren't murdered to make furniture.

I would have liked a real closet, a place to put my suitcase and a makeup mirror. And a slightly bigger room. And I was surprised by the 20 per cent service charge added to my bill. It was not mentioned when I booked, nor did the final bill indicate this was an optional charge, as I was told when I called to inquire. I ended up paying it anyway because the personnel really is good, but I deplore this nasty American tipping custom.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I booked this hotel for a surprise anniversary gift and the hux family made the occasion so special. They offered us extra time for the room in the morning and 2 drink tokens at the bar to mark the occasion. They even put up some banners in our room! The hotel vibe and interior was just amazing, so many things to look at and admire and it looks very well kept too. Our hotel room was the smallest room they offer but it was still easy to get around and had all the appliances we needed. The bathroom was lovely and clean and had a nice shower. The bed was very comfy too. The location was brilliant, on the end of Kensington high street, opposite Kensington gardens, just a short walk away from tube station, shops, restaurants and museums! It was an Amazing stay and would definitely recommend and go back ourselves!

Only 1 thing, windowsill cleanliness.

The hotel was brilliant! With it's amazing decor featuring some incredible taxidermy specimens, the hotel really made me and my partner excited and happy. The staff were incredible friendly and professional, making us feel comfortable and extremely well treated. The room (a signature double room) was perfect for a young couple ready to explore. It was a pleasure to come home to after a long day. It was easy to get to (being close to the High street Kensington underground) and always felt very secure, welcoming and comfy. The bed was brilliant and very comfy, allowing for a good rest at the end of a long day. Highly recommended.

The position of the mirror in the bathroom was in the wrong place in my opinion, being to the left of the sink rather then directly in front.

The location was perfect and the accommodation was above and beyond expectation. We were absolutely delighted with our light and airy suite with a view of Kensington Gardens - an upgrade from the signature double originally booked. The hotel staff were a joy; welcoming, polite, respectfully attentive and efficient. The suite was spacious, comfortably furnished and well equipped, with many a thoughtful detail. The nights were quiet. The generously sized bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable, with excellent pillows and top quality linen. The suite has a well equipped kitchen and it was good to feel you could self cater if plans allowed. We just bought our own breakfast necessities. The hotel's position suited us brilliantly. We were just a walk away from The Royal Albert Hall, our concert venue as well as being near everything else we had planned to visit. In fact we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at The Hux and are already looking forward to our next visit when we will once again sample one of the amazing signature cocktails - our kind host offered two as a welcome gift - and we also plan to allow time to book ahead for dinner at their restaurant. PS I managed to leave a small holdall behind on our departure and my especially grateful thanks go to the efficient member of staff whose speedy and kind advice meant we were near enough to retrace our steps before continuing onwards to Heathrow!

Honestly hardly anything. We loved the place and the people - and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If pressed 3 tiny suggestions come to mind: None crucial - - a milk jug would have been handy for pouring warmed milk into our breakfast coffee - a door weight to hold the bathroom door open would be a plus and - another hook, to hang an outdoor coat on, inside the main door, would be perfect.

Fab location for Royal Albert Hall and Kensington / Hyde Park. Amazing decor but all the animals are real taxidermy, so might not be to everyone’s taste. Staff very very welcoming and helpful and friendly. Bed very comfortable. Complimentary cocktails and personal letter a nice touch. Convenient bag storage. Lovely cocktail/drinks menu.

Bedroom very hot and air con difficult to work. Only one toilet roll in room for a one night stay! No mirror in bedroom for getting ready. Surprised by service charge at end of stay which was optional but still charged (it was refunded when I queried)

Lovely funky hotel, friendly staff, clean and in a great location. Facilities were great with a Nespresso machine, air-con, robes, comfy bed & pillows, and a great shower. Better than other spots we stayed in London.

Room was pretty small and very little space to get around the bottom of the bed to avoid the TV. We stubbed our toes several times. Lift was from the first floor and sometimes was not working during the day (maybe house keeping related) which was not great with sore feet from exploring London. An extra service charge bill was delivered under the door but found out it was optional.
