I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was my birthday and they made me feel special. I even got a room upgrade! The staff were so nice and attentive and did I mention the hotel smells sooo good! I will definitely be returning.

Nothing- only stayed one night and can’t complain.

The location was great, just opposite the Gloucester Tube station and there were restauarants/cafes/fast food nearby so it was convenient.

(1) The room was so small. (2) We were informed in late afternoon of one day, that the hotel maintenance needed to shut the heater in the shower by 11pm to 7pam. There is no way one can shower with cold weather during April. My partner went to a football game that evening and I had to call him to come back to the hotel early - so he missed the final part of the game, left the stadium early to make his way back to hotel before 11pm to shower. It was ridiculous and disappointing, especially to experience such inconvenience when we paid good money for the hotel. We complained and the hotel compensated with complimentary breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was low quality and it did not make up for the inconvenience. It was such a let down.

Wonderful welcome experience and very helpful staff! I really enjoyed the room: certainly English but with a light and sunshiny style that seemed more southern European. Pleasant light scent. It was a very well-thought out room with almost everything a guest would want. A great sleep, a powerful shower and effective aircon. The little bar-restaurant was nice too on the evening I arrived.Great location for the museums and a Tube stop nearby. I'd be very happy to stay here again.

The bathroom was compact but elegant and very well equipped except... there was no ledge to leave my wash bag and toiletries outside the shower. It seems an obvious need. Also it would have been nice to have recycling bins so guests can sort their trash. It feels bad as a guest to just throw everything away unsorted. Kind of old-fashioned in a bad way.

The breakfast is good. The selection of products is limited, but the quality is excellent. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and not frozen concentrate, the omelettes are really good, and the bakery selection is decent. Even the bacon holds up well. We’ve stayed in higher-end hotels with much worse breakfasts! The room was very small, but it was well soundproofed. Despite being in the center of London, we managed to sleep with the window open.

In three days, we never figured out how the air conditioning worked. Or rather, we’re not even sure it worked at all. One evening, when it was cold, we set it to 26 degrees, but it didn’t heat up. I find it in poor taste to ask at the moment of payment whether guests would like to add a 5% service charge. This approach is inappropriate. The guest is put in an awkward psychological position. If you really insist on this request, at least change the way you ask. Inform guests at check-in, or leave a note in the room, so they can decide in advance whether to give this tip or not—and it should be up to them to offer it, not you to ask for it!

Location !!! Just opposite Gloucester station. It's so convenient !!!! Air conditioning, clean, and comfortable bed. The staff are so helpful, especially Lima, and a few concierge staff. We came early and the room was not ready. But they helped us to store the bags for us. When we came back from lunch and the room was ready, they've already placed our bags in the room. D checked to see if everything was okay. Blown away by small touches and their service. The day before we checked out, the front office called and told us that tomorrow we will be checking out and if we are happy with everything. Lastly, if they need to help us to make a wake-up call. Our room included breakfast, and we had to leave earlier before the breakfast was open . They packed box breakfast for us before we left. All these small touches were so nice. We felt safe and cared for.

There's nothing to like about this hotel !!!

The location couldn't have been better. For my conference at Imperial College, it was just a quick, easy walk. Having Hyde Park within reach was lovely for a break. The area around the hotel was fantastic too. Plenty of restaurants, cozy cafes, and even grocery stores were right on the same road, so we never had to go far for anything. The hotel was clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and really helpful.

My only real issue was the elevator situation. There's just one, and it felt pretty slow at times.

Great location, 5 minute walk to Train Station, Supermarket and many restaurants close to hotel. Safe neighborhood. Wonderful breakfast, many choices and could also order special cooked eggs, especially liked the smoked salmon, and the gigantic toaster. Stayed in a mini-suite which had a seperate room with sleeper sofa. Room service left lots of cookies everyday. Hotel Front Desk was extremely helpful with any questions and tips. Especially fantastic service from Ruth, Peter and Jorg. Had a problem with my bill and emailed hotel. They responded back in HOURS and resolved the problem. Was quite impressed with the fantastic customer service.

Lighting in room was NOT great. Restaurant wasn't open one evening.

When we arrived, we were given a room with a non-working air-con. It was 32C outside, At first, the staff tried to fix the problem, but the facility team was not around and can't fix the aircon. Staff rejected to move us to the other room, saying that there are no other rooms available. Once I showed that avaiblity at Booking.com, they finally moved us to the other room with working aircon and let us stay there till the end of our stay. This was pleasing but it took some efforts to make them fix the issue. It should be easier if you pay 300+ GBP per night.

Love the location, close to the tube station. Love the 24 hour access to the gym. The bed was comfortable. Appreciate the air conditioning. It was a lovely room & the service & staff was EXCELLENT!

Our room was RIGHT by the main door into the hallway, so every entry & exit was a LOUD door slamming. The view from the first floor, obviously was sad. The eggs at breakfast were like soup. Not just runny. They were still liquid!! I love eggs & was very disappointed.
